I just started playing ESO a few days ago, and there's so much things to learn my brain feels like its gonna explode lol
Yeah, I've only come back to the game (haven't played since beta so practically none at all) in the last month. Just got my first character to CP 160 and I feel like I don't have enough skill points. Grinding shards feels bad and you only get dungeon quest SP once. I don't know how I will afford 2 new skill lines worth of SP when I can't even finish the crafting skill lines.
Easy guys...just take it easy! Enjoy the game first! This is a HUGE game, so don't expect to reach endgame very fast

I came back 2 months ago from pryer 3 years off... And sssooooo mannyy quesstts. But I have been putting time into it to help move on from a failed relationship, finished like 3 whole provinces besides finding journals and 4 player dungeons. I'm level 50 and champion point 326. I'm paying subscription now and all the dlc unlocked....fml :D... Having alot of fun then.... Greymoore landed..... Fml hahaha sssooo much content!!
Once you’ve gotten the single purple lead in every zone in the game if you go back to the antiquarian place in western Skyrim and go upstairs there is a gold lead on a dresser for a coin collection that sells for $100,000 but you have to be level 10 scrying to start it. That’s the reason you may want to get up to 10
Also its not as simple as: green, blue, purple, yellow.
There are yellow leads that you can scry at level 7 (master) but there are also some yellow leads considered (ultimate) that you NEED to be level 10 to get.

100000 gold is small....
100k is a decent chunk of change for PvE Players.
Working on the mount right now halfway through the checklist made some sweet gold through antiquities so really fun and worthwhile
That rind of brutality 😍 and ring of the wild hunt. Going for a vampire harmony build. Started with your necro harmony build, made small tweaks to fit my play style. Now for this patch want to try my own idea for the vampire skill line. Thank you for the awesome content!
I like how much gold actually comes from this. I spent hours doing this a week ago and make like 180k in treasure lol.
More fun than doing writs everyday on many alts.

Grinding to 10 because for the Blessed Dais of Almalexia you can't even scry for it until you have full 5/5 points into the scrying skill Antiquarian insight. Its an interactable furniture item. The grind for me from 9 to 10 is a bit of a chore. Thx for the video.

Eyvea is actually a bit smaller than Arthaeum, but it's only accessible if you did the Mages Guild quest line. It also contains one of the dig sites for the pieces of Thrassian Stranglers - the lead for it drops in Summerset, got it from a psijic portal if I remember right.
When you have more than one lead in a zone, you can scry all of them before you excavate them. I've noticed that blue and green excavation areas usually are close to each other, so you don't have to run quite as far.
When you do your excavations, do the green one last because that's the one that gives you another blue lead.

That's not a good guild then man. All 5 of mine are super helpful and kind ppl who explain and help with everything you need help with. Today I asked which merchant sold corn cuz I'd spent 4 days lookin for stupid corn, had 4 ppl send me freakin corn within 2 minutes lol.

I’ve picked up several purple, gold and even a couple mythic leads just playing the game. I’m trying to get enough skill points up front before jumping into it so I can grind the lines up faster. Leads drop regularly from world bosses, inside delves, overland chests and even nodes. Just play the game and you’ll get more than enough to keep you busy for a while.
Don’t even have the skill line yet and I’ve gotten leads for mythics. Thank you for the video Dotts I was really just going to not even try this whole antiquities thing but since watching this it doesn’t look too bad and I definitely want the mythics

i have ignored these for 2 years, i spent 5 minutes on them back when they first came out and thought it was boring, now I have noticed the payout for 2 hours grinding and am kicking myself!!!!

just bought this game on pc, last time i played was on the ps4 when morowind just came out, theres so much for me to do now that im a fresh account, and im excited to get to this point, as i bought the dlc pack for like 15$ when it was on sale.
Malacath ring of Brutality is first on my list. Then Pale Order, Ring of the Wild Hunt. There’s a necklace I forgot the name of lol and I want that Bloodlord Curass I think it’s called.
You should add to use the eye tool when in the search area to help find the dig site!

if you have a bunch of wayshrines its better to go do all the greens in each zone until you unlock blue then do all the blues until you get purple etc. that way you constantly get 3 exp doing blues and have a ton of purples lined up for when you unlock them as well.
There is so much to do in the game, but I have not been completing the content as soon as it arrives. I'll probably get around to the antiquities in a year with my track record 😅 It does look so much fun though, I might have to give it a try when it releases on the consoles this week.

You want to go to new zones. You get a ton of XP for discovering a new item.

what do you mean by "redoing" the green lead? I cant redo it once i dug it up. Does that mean I shouldnt have dug it up?
Hey I dont know if you found your answer but every area has a repeatable green lead. Make sure you click on "active area" to find it on the list.

Need level 10 for some of the gold leads. I have a few I really want and I have like 4 days to get from 7 to 10 in order to get them.
Came here to say that. You can't rely on the color coded system.
It means NOTHING other than the rarity of finding the actual lead.
Green leads are easy to find.
Yellow (like the prismatic sunbird feather for example) have a lower drop rate.
The colors are for the rarity of that lead. With green leada being easy to find. Yellow leads being rarer to drop .

If I can figure out a possibly QUICK way to raise excavation and scrying to the top things because I finally got the final piece of that Daedric or Deadlands enchanting table, I’d be happy. I’ve got all the leads but it’s just a matter of digging em up... frustrated.....

An open question here: should I invest into scrying on healer (absolutely no DPS skills) NB character? I can zoom the zones pretty fast, unless I need to actually kill things.

Xp boosts don’t work on crafting skills, inspiration is what u you earn there

NO. Sorry. You're wrong about not needing to get to level 10 and I also found that out the hard way.
The antiquity system is a bit more complex than the color coded green, blue, purple, yellow.
There are yellow antiquities that are "MASTER" level. That you can scry at level 7.. But many yellow leads are "ULTIMATE" level that you CANNOT scry until you reach level 10.
I incorrectly put too much faith in the color coded system too. Was super excited to reach level 7 so I could scry this yellow lead mirror furnishing in Reaper's March I had. Only to find it was an ULTIMATE level. Still trying to reach level 10.

Yep. The color system it seems determines the rarity, or how likely the lead is to drop.
With green and blue being commonly/easily found/ dropped...
Going up to yellow which is less likely to drop and takes some farming.

1. You can scry and rescry until you solve the puzzle. What's the point. Show the places on the map without that boring gimic
2. Excavation is lame. Literally farming for resources is more fun than pressing those squares.
