when it comes to chance and 50 million ppl are all in for it.. your chance becomes... 1 in 6 to 8 BILLION to one.. 1 they might have more hashing power... B they might be smart enough not to use bitmain, because ALL if there miners calulate to an ROI of NEVER.. given they use do much power
the use sticks are a lot better on power. but you need 1000's of them

50 million pay x ammount per ticket... only one wins x ammount of money. but when you do a bit of calculating they just made 3x what they "gave" out... abnd people still fall for it.... lol

Red Panda, your Mars Lander is using a Raspberry Pi zero.. you don't need to take anything else apart. you should be able to attach a monitor using one of the Mini HDMI ports.

I created a farm with LV 06 times 10. Each has its own IP I do mine @ roughly 5-6 th/s It costed me about $1000 . They are basically cheaper looking Bitaxe. I figured I can drop $500 at a casino in about 20 minutes and I dont buy lottery tickets. So, this is my gambling. I bought a nice surge protector off Amazon for $30 and it just sits there. I had it up roughly a month now. Is it cost effective vs buying a $399 miner no really but for a home miner who has an empty shelf and about $1000 to throw away, not bad. Yea they do all run on 120 watts total. You are upfront buying for the low wattage. Viabtc, 2miners and etc etc merge them together. Its a "fun" thing mostly.

  • @AtomicMining

I believe is was the apollo btc miners because it said it was in the combination of four machines, dont know how true it is but that's what the article said. each apollo miner can produce between 1-3 th/s, you should do a video on those because there's so few videos and information about them, and i cant find any videos on buying them from someone else and flashing the SSD to clear it from their old information. would be great 🙌

These ASICs throttle real easy. To pump up the hash rate you have to provide extreme cooling, i.e. large CFM fan(s) and then tweak the frequency for the miner.
What software came with the miner? Is it proprietary or FOSS? Also, It shouldn't matter what RPi you use.

The hardware has a heat problem causing it to freeze
Any miner is using USB interface will not get no where based on my experience even if you try to get block for may be Bit-Coin-Cash an $80 crypto
To be realistic less than 10 X 10 T miner you will get nothing as a solo miner.
You may make some money getting a block or two per month for some crypto like Classic Ethrum but NOT for Bitcoin

See what happens after 1 month. I have been mining with these since late June 2022. They will mine unattended for only 3 to 5 weeks max! Whe I get back to them I see that the Raspberry Pi has rebooted and is waiting for the mining commands. Probably what is needed is a RPi cron job to automatically start the mining process when it decides to reboot.
