The Golden era of good music.
the last era of music!
This takes me back, warm, golden days and all the world ahead....
Miss those days.😢
Haha. I ran across this and had the same thought. Sure does take me back to some good times. 😁✌️💓
Sweet bird of Youth ...❤
À
Always and forever one of the most BADASS BANDS!!!
I am 66yrs old and I was raised on the Great Carlos Santana!!! 🤟😎💋❤🔥
I’m 69, nothing better than this REAL MUSIC. New music sucks!

It's not even music!
There's a few out there but not many - Foo Fighters👍
Me too! They're the best!
76 here LOVE HIM
Not only is he an amazing guitarist, but his band is so talented! That's what makes him a great artist. He's not only talented but he gathered a group of talented people to support him.
;-) ... Amen !
Chepito wrote this song and others
Santana did not even know what a conga was before he met Chepito...
Esta canción la escribió Tito Puente!!
@@Nica-Ra-Wata Actually, Mike Carrabello was the conga player, Chepito usually played timbales, except on Soul Sacrifice where he played bongos.
It wasn't his band. Santana was an equal partnership up until after the 3rd album.
WHAT A PLEASURE IT MUST BE,
TO SEE SUCH GIFTED MUSICIANS PERFORM LIVE!!!!!
I’ve had the pleasure to see him and his band in person . Each time was better than before . Very captivating performances and the arena rocked to its core . Way cool very nice man in person too .
I had that opportunity in 1972 in RS. BRASIL.
As I remember it was the go to record if you were having a bad trip! Saved many ugly mind warps!
This is, truly, a track that will never need more cowbell.
I never realized that Carlos Santana didn't sing vocals on Black Magic Woman but rather Greg Rolle. He has a great voice!
He also sang lead on the first 3 Journey albums.
I don't recall Carlos ever singing anything. He was too busy doing something else.
Ansley Dunbar and Neil Schon are also in this band!@@markhunter8554
Santana iorgullosamente jalisciense mexicano espectacular me encanta saludos desde guadalajara mexico
who listening in 2024 : ) sending much love!!
I'm listening. And jammin! Lol!
Right now❤️ I love how he plays with and to the band in the middle and gives it to them to jam.
Saw him a few years ago at Jones Beach, awesome show with his son.
👋 present ! 😊
chillin´in Chile....
Im here
In high school we drove through the city with this music blaring from the radio! No other era like the 1970s for music!
These members were the best of all the Santana groups. And the music was pure, before all the added creativity that came later.
I'll just add that part of their almost immediate popularity and sort of cult following of fans was their music was so different from most rock and roll (including the Woodstock phenomenon) and it's why the Southern Rock wave was able to pretty much able to take over from the British invasion so easily with it's whole like a subsection of Southern Texas rockin blues bands like ZZTOP, the Winter brothers, and of course Stevie Ray Vaughn (SRV) and others 😊😅😮😂❤😊
This is an awesome performance from Santana..reminds me of my Father he loved Santana..Rest In Peace Dad
Some of the best and tightest musicians to ever grace the stage !
Percussion is just beyond.....
Santana. 1970 live....oh my lordy this music,, the beat, the guitar solos, .......it gets right in your soul....even 50 years later.... this was real music. No sutoplay...just real instruments. Grab hold and hang on for the ride. Man can Greg beat that organ keyboard like he's beating a set of bongos. Carlos looks so young here. He makes that guitar sing.
🎶🌟🎶 🎸🎸

Excellent group of musicians.. I turn 70 today n still loving Santana 🌹
😊géniale ce groupe la musique les solos
I was just a baby (actually a teen) then!!
The great Greg Rollie, voice of Santana , Founder of Journey. A talented musician ,singer, songwriter. I’m happy he got the recognition when he , Santana and Journey both were inducted in the rock and roll hall of fame, different years of course
Back when performers actually performed! No sound track running, just raw talent! Still gives me the chills, just wow!
Wow indeed.
Good old days where talent mattered. If you were not good it didn't matter what your name was.
Yes indeed Pegasus
True spot on.
@@marilynnjacobsen1077 true👍
After over 50 years this will never get old.

Carlos' guitar is crying, praying and shouting...☆
It sounds calm, melancholic and powerful.
All of Santana's members are superb!
I favor this song forever...with love from Japan.♡
I like the fact he wasn't playing to the audience he was letting the audience enjoys but he was playing with his band that's what's up that's the coolest thing in the world
Hellyeah it is!!!❤

Thanks to Mexico for giving the world Carlos, all the guys here are awesome. This music takes me to heaven.
The guy singing the first song that sits playing the piano / organ and wears a white shirt sure has a wonderful voice!
Went on to form journey with Neil. Was lead singer of journey before they got Steve, and they both sang until he left the band.
@@DKH35 Wow, thank you Dylan for the information, that was so nice of you, thank you again! 🤗
Still listening in 2022. Some of the best music ever created in my opinion.
One of the greatest!! Those two songs are just the best!! Reliving those days!! Stoned & quaaluded, chilled out!! These people today don't know what good music is!! I'm thankful though, that I am still here!! 🙂🙃
Oh come on! I love Santana, too. As he's local (San Francisco), I've seen him live several times. But there's excellent music coming out today. The music world didn't suddenly stop 50 years ago! The drugs certainly didn't, either.
I saw these guys when in San Antonio in 81 or 82. At one point in the show, there were 16 musicians on stage. To think all of those people were contributing in harmony was awesome. Carlos Santana is a band master I'd there ever was one.
Som fudido cara!
If you saw them in 81 or 82 the only one of these guys that you would've seen was Carlos, the rest of the band was long gone by then.
One morning in the San Francisco Bay Area, I was dropping my son off at elementary school and this version of Black Magic Woman came on the radio. I didn't want to get out of the car, but I had to so my son wouldn't be late. As I walked down the street, several other vehicles were parked with their windows open, all playing this song, as parents walked their kids to school. Such a mesmerizing performance! Thanks for posting.
Amazing xxx
Surrealista!
Greg Rolie’s keyboard playing and vocals were such a perfect fit for this band
fantastico
i agree with you,,
Saw them in ‘74 in Dekalb Illinois. I’m 73 now and still fondly remember that concert.
A classic mix of rock & roll with that amazing latin beat! Love It!
Oh my Jesus, this never gets old! Pure talent that will live on forever!!
No sorprise

Sounds like it did 50 years ago and that’s good!!!!!!
This never gets old.

Wow! Gregg Rolie's cool vocals "Black Magic Woman"
I used to have the Santana album " Abraxus " on vynil. A great album! Carlos Santana invented Latin Rock! Absolutely he is a trailblazer! " Abraxus " sounds like it was recorded today!!!! I will order the CD of " Abraxus!! " Amongst others!! I first heard " oi ya coma via " when i was 16 years old. And went straight out and bought the album!!!! Paul Budd Brightlingsea Essex England UK.
I can see the album cover again! ( don’t know where it is now )
This was the music that got me in psyched up before hitting the waves. Adrenaline rush actually made me shiver.
I love the Latin jazz influence that Santana brought to classic rock music.
We are talking 70s magical and more bless carlos santanna
When in london town never missed a gig no ticket iam dancing in the isle way ahead off there time monsters
Santana helped make rock roll.
sooo good, 🔥🔥
Yo a mis 70 años todavía goso escuchar este extraordinario guitarrista. Bravo
That transition from "Black Magic Woman" to "Gypsy Queen" gets me every time.
Black Magic Woman by Santana better than Black Magic Woman by Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac).
Santan the Best of Best..
Mexican proud carlos santana one of the best guitarrist player of the world.

God!! He can squeeze the last "whatever" you can out of a note, even using feedback 🎵🎶 The percussionists are exceptional; and that old Hammond sound. Just great work!!
There will never be another one like Carlos Santana.
Mucha clase ,mucho talento,..calidad ,viva Carlos Santana!!!
I saw Santana in concert several years ago. His band performed for 2-1/2 hours nonstop. It is one of the very best concerts I have been to.
@Retired for Good That Gig must have been one of their shorter ones. I listened to them live in the mid 80s and they played far over 3,5 hours.
WoW... WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!!
I saw them as a teenager, drum circle and all. Excellent show.
@@jimmydee1605 hola
I saw this original band when I was 14. What a sensation they were in the San Francisco Bay Area. We were so proud. They were playing at the local state college. Able to see them again with the first appearance of Neal Shoen. We were interested because he was 16 like us. Damn! We were into some good stuff as kids.
I saw Santana on 09/26/70 in San Antonio, Tx., about a month after this concert. To this day, one of the finest and professional shows I've ever seen.
Lucky man, John 64 UK England special music
Saw him warm up for The Stones in 1981 Silver dome Michigan and he was the best part of the show. Iggy pop was booed off, poor home town 😎 dude.
Praise God bothers and sisters he is still rocking the house.
I was lucky enough to see Eric Clapton and Santana at the Springfield civic center in 1975 or 1976.
( remember, Red and Acapulco gold had made the scene then.) Second time I was privileged to See Carlos was 2003, I think when the Mayor Eddie Perez gave Carlos the key to the city.
We both live in Vegas, but I don't have to see him and his wife....I feel the vibes in the music still at 61 and will keep listening until I cross the bridge.
( Rock and Roll Heaven....Yahoo!!!!)
We are rocking at the assisted living facility in the hallways. Maintenance checking in.
Real music ...Awesome..Soo Good.
Ive seen him perform several times here in San Antonio, one of the best was at Sunken Gardens in the 80s when he performed during a rainstorm, it was awesome
No autotune, pure talent and dedication to the art and craft of making breathtaking music.
Hello beautiful 👋 hope you’re having a great day??
Sensuel, sublime Black Magic Sensuel Woman. I remember when I went dancing with my love. Crazy !
One of the few bands that can sound better live.
Carlos Santana, what an artist!

There are and have been great guitarists… but none like Carlos Santana 😎👍
Always loved these songs. My older sister listened to Santana everyday. We shared a room. Since i am 9 years younger she didn't allow me in the room to listen to music. So i would sit on the floor outside my room and listen to wonderous Santana. She turned the volume up full blast so everyone could hear it whether you wanted to or not. Of course i wanted to hear it.

Sono perfettamente d'accordo. Magnifici tutti
I agree I still get excited when I hear Carlos like I did when I was 20. ( long time ago trust me )
Me too agree, completely, when music is really made from true artist.!!!!!!!
A retarded kid can play music w/ 'passion ' ...doesn't necessarily make it good . Its about creativity and technical ability . His greatness was the art form he and others created
I have seen Santana 4 times!! Always magnificent 💯💯💯💯👏👏👏👏
fantastico
I remember the first time I heard Santana. My friend said listen to this. (He had a little record player) I had never heard Latin/Hispanic music...WOW
Oh my God...this is 52 years old. And I remember this when it was new. And it's still as good as pure now as it was then. Thanks for sharing it.

Greg Rolie is an excellent organist...
Funny thing is the young kids don't know what an organ can do. I remember one of my boys asking what is that sound. It's not used like it was in my youth I hope it returns. Give the kids a thrill
True he is!! I never realized until today that he is in Journey!? I never put it together and I’m 63, been to many concerts!
Yes. Thinking of Garth Hudson of The Band.
Gregg Rollie was the perfect vocalist for this band. Santana’s guitar work is the best!
A treat for my age! Wonderful music which never grows old! Love it! That is what is called good music!
Don’t listen to todays music. Still love a lot of old put effort into the music not wardrobe and no much talent

Santana’s genius is giving all his music to the voices of his fellow artists who sing his songs!
The keyboard player has a beautiful voice.
Carlos was so wonderful in these days and so his bands were.
Carlos is in my top 5 greatest guitarist list. This is just a great song and brings back so many memories

I appreciate ALL of the musicians here
Grande Santana. Grandes todos los integrantes de su banda.
Sí...sí....
you are so right,, thank you
La verdadera música no morirá jamás. Grandes artistas.. gracias.
Saludos.
