Perfect Video, Thanks man! About to go swap mine in my 08’ 6spd TSX. Did you replace the alternator because of that freight train of a noise (lol) and bearings being smoked or were you also getting “check charging system” message in cluster? Im getting that message, tried battery real quick and still getting message. My volts were dropping fast pre new battery so figured battery was toast. It fired up after new battery(group 51R)and now stays at 12-12.2volts, not getting any Alt noise or burning smell(I’ve had alt’s on previous vehicles smell like they were about to ignite lol). Hoping it’s just the internal regulator. So just gonna replace Alt and belt, had car about 10 years and its never been done and no idea about previous maintenance. Going to upgrade the grounds also as I read on TSX forums they can be frail. I know everyone has their opinion about it, and that’s your right. Im gonna be in there, might as well and upgrade them for piece of mind. Thank you for video tho! Is it worth getting the tensioner tool kit or just buy a long wrench like you had? I plan on doing the KTuned Tensioner soon. Also, maybe a how to on that? Or just undo the tensioner bolt(s) to remove it while belt is off? Thanks again!

Knipex got the twin grip pliers or regular pliers try to grip them really tight, or strip bolt extractor sockets there’s always something

Yea right. You cut the part out because you can’t just “twist” and get it out lol nice though

You're better off just removing the power steering pump, and radiator fan. I did this job in 30 minutes doing those two steps. No mess will be made a long as you plug up the power steering hose line and the disconnected end of the pump

I did it with just taking out the fan, for a 04 Acura TSX
