been waiting for y’all to release that 6x9 and 6 inch sub comparison for the tsx rear deck ever since y’all released that reel ‼️
I have the same kit in my 04 tsx and recently found some things out.
There are secret button functions on the climate control. Like holding the AC button down will change the stick figure to a trucker flap Lady or holding the Dual button will change Fahrenheit to Celsius, holding the Mode button will allow you to change the color of the display backlight color depending which button you are pressing it will atart flashing and when you press drivers side temp will change to Red colors Pass side temp will change to Blue colors and the Fan button will do Green colors you can also mix for Pinks, Purples and so on. I sent a message to crutchfield to see if there were othere button layouts but still no reply from them.

I have a Sony-XAV-AX3200 with the Metra Kit. When I try to map my steering wheel controls the only one that works is the volume up. It wont even let me customize the controls. Any idea what Im doing wrong?
Are you using the AXSWC? and did you hardwire the steering controls?
I plan to add two 12" inch subs and an amp for them as well as another amp for the mids and highs does that change what radio you think i should choose?

yes I would suggest a kenwood radio as it has the most options for controlling sound something like a dmx709s would work great.
Also my sub makes an awful sound when I turn the radio off with the car running
For the wiring harness, what difference does it make if you run regular Speaker cables rather than RCA's?
since the TSX has a factory amplifier then you want to send a low level signal to it so you don't damage it.

So I’m experiencing a popping static sound from my speakers on the right side after installing this kit with a Sony stereo double din unit, any idea as to why?
Did you use RCAs to connect the radio?

13:31 I hate that too. They should make a second dash kit for short chassis radios to get rid of that ugly bevel. I also hate that the LCD screen for the new climate controls is blue. It just clashes with the orange illuminated buttons
You cannchangebthe backlight on the climate control. Hold the MODE button forna few second and it will start flashing then use thebDrivers side temp button to shuffle through Red colors, the Fan Speed button will do Greens and Pass side temp button will do Blues.

How do I get the ac not to turn on when I put the defroster on
The defroster always uses ac because ac pulls moisture out. Humidified air will fog up your windshield

Metra kit is SO ugly.
Unfortunately, that’s the only kit there is for this car for the aftermarket radio to be in the factory location
I would upgrade but I dislike how ugly the Metra sticks out!
I wish we had a better solution!
