I'm 46 and I thought I was pretty much done with being profoundly moved by a piece of music. Seen it, been there, got all the t-shirts. Apparently I was wrong - this tune just floored me. It's wonderful. Thank you.
Christina Michelle has a surprisingly pleasant singing voice. This is so different from the other stuff of theirs that I've heard (and seen--saw them live once).
It's different because they are the most bandwagon band out there and DW is squeezing that milk too... from Converge-core to Nirvana-core to today's Cocteau Twins-meets-Sonic Youth shoegaze... when did they ever had their own identity? Just wait a couple of years to hear them playing the next fad. 🤷🏻♂️
@@xDIABOx you're a loser, band's literally named after a Pixies song. If you heard a single note of music after their first record you'd understand how natural this sounds.
For a second during the middle slow down part I thought the bass was going into their other song Ghost. It would likely make for a smooth transition of songs live.
It'd be funnier if anyone thought you knew more than 4 bands. But hey, not everyone can comment the same shit multiple people have said, or twist the same comment 3 or 4 different ways in comments without sounding like they're just cherry picking others. Oh. Wait.
@@nolankuffner3573 It would be even funnier if I had a podcast about music, if I've been playing in bands since 90s, if I organized venues and have been in direct contact with people from the music business instead of being just a random anon profile on the internets. Oh. Wait.
Probably those 5-6 years of the band's existence where they were debating not making music anymore. But hey, why not just make the same thing fans who don't keep up with you listen to? That's smart right? I'm sure not paying their bills while people listen to their shit for free on TH-cam was extremely lucrative. Random thought: they enjoy a blend of different genres because they're people with varied tastes. And making music THEY like is going to take priority to music they made half a decade ago.
@@nolankuffner3573 don't get me wrong, I am not complaining at all, it was just surprising to me because last time I listened to them they were pretty much straight hardcore. Actually I am liking this better than the older stuff
Could be on a Sonic Youth album... That's one of the nicest compliments I could give anyone. Very nice guys.

I remember being under the impression that there was no use listening to any music newer than 2006.... Well that was wrong. If you look you will find.
BROOOOO literally same! Same age and everything! This song oh my god!😮
@@_dadcore4_ it's incredible isn't it? Takes me back to my wasted youth!
42 here. like you, i seen it all. except for this jam....which floored me too. what a tune.
It’s gorgeous. And the lyrics…it hits
This is perfect song to end a really great album.
Truly incredible song. This band gets better and better. Thank you. ❤
I love the vibe of this song. Makes me wanna go on a long drive

im obsessed with this song. i listened to it for 8 hours straight yesterday bout to go for round two.
Me too, in my case it's been four days now😅
This song couldn't have come at a better time in my life.
This song reminds me a lot of Pity Sex which is very much a good thing. Loooove the fuzzy tones and the really soft vocals
Yes! I immediately thought about Feast of Love when I heard this.
@@noahDnewport I saw them at Sound and Fury 2022 after their super long hiatus and they were amazing
Tomas is the hardest working drummer in hardcore
That voice over those guitar tones is working for me.
This song is so good, takes me back to the 90’s
This is great. Probably GA's best ever song. Phenomenal.
I've already listened to this so many times I cannot wait for this record

I think you need to take a nap bro. You seem a little strung.

A Welcome Change has a good vibe too. Very lovely singing voice, but she’s absolutely brutal most of the time
great and taste

wait, when did this band turn shoegaze?
I've noticed as bands grow older, they slow down a bit. Such as life. It's okay, it's the good stuff.

sounds like a million other songs i´ve heard before
everything sounds like everything
No one cares!
Agreed, but it's still good. The vocal switchup at the end makes it.
Why?
Cliche
lazy songwriting
