This is so interesting! I was actually solo in Berlin in July while travelling around Europe (I actually saw Jade from a cafe but didn't what to disturb her... crazy moment) and I was just getting over covid (which I got while solo travelling) and, although I also loved Berlin so much, this was ironically the loneliest part of my trip. I find it so interesting looking back. Though I can't wait to go back and enjoy Berlin in a more open way :)

I kind of had a rough start into the warmer days with my mental health, kinda dropped out of uni for the semester and feel like I don't want to continue studying but was not accepted for my dream study subject... so I'm kind of in between everything without a goal to work towards and started focusing on myself as I lost contact to uni pals, got back into reading, deleted social media because it did not help with my self image, got diagnosed with adhd and finally started therapy (Very proud of that though). With all those things going on I just kept isolating myself and by now I am fine being by myself a lot but I miss having friends in my city and have not quite figured out how to meet new people when not in uni. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm happy you spent such a great summer in Berlin, I hope to experience the same one day. This video showed me how one can turn everything around if brave enough to take the first step.

This summer has been THE definition of ups and downs. On one hand I met up with so many of my friends and my family and made so many new memories and experiences. But on the other, many of the people i know have travelled/ moved away so it's been hard to keep in contact with time differences. We made the most of it but a part of me wants to be there too and travel.

We’ve been watching the Commonwealth Games on TV in England, and today was such a beautiful, sunny day in Birmingham. I just moved out of my parent's house and into my first flat. It's actually my first night alone here. It's a new city and Uni starts in October so I don't really have any real work to occupy me. I was feeling a bit anxious because it's so quiet here and I'm not used to it, although I'm very much an introvert. I just felt a bit lonely, which is why your very relatable video made me so happy. Living in the Netherlands now, I miss the German Sundays. Open shops are more convenient but it does give a different atmosphere to the city when shops are closed and I am used to the Sundays anyways. Or it might just be me missing my family

i just finished my HSC trials! i'm so happy but i know i didn't do my 100% best because i've been kind of out of it, unmotivated and just uninspired to try hard in school because all i want to do is travel the world, so i didn't study very hard but i'm okay with that. ill get to where i want to be in life either way!

I’ve visited Berlin twice and it immediately gave me that homey feeling you describe. Due to some circumstances I’m 22 and haven’t started Uni and I’m thinking more and more of going there for Uni but also feeling like it might be too late for me

If you like ramen, you should definitely try Cocolo Ramen in Berlin!! Hands down the best broth I’ve ever tasted and I would go back to Berlin just for the ramen 😭
I just moved out of my parent's house and into my first flat. It's actually my first night alone here. It's a new city and Uni starts in October so I don't really have any real work to occupy me. I was feeling a bit anxious because it's so quiet here and I'm not used to it, although I'm very much an introvert. I just felt a bit lonely, which is why your very relatable video made me so happy. Just wanted to thank you for making me feel better❤

Why didn't you like "Beautiful world where are you"? I personally loved this book since it showed us not only the positivity of the world, but focused mainly on the negativity people have to face in life. This made it feel very real for me. I would love to hear your opinion on it.
