Awesome review thanks. One question, what about the batery live doing soft office work like browsing, or running youtube or maybe some of excell work how many hours will last the batery?? And what about the heat if you are doing this with the laptop on the legs.? Thank You !

I think this is in the right place for value, price and specs are pretty mainstream, good for gaming and work, and being someone who wants a laptop just like a space saving computer not because I'm on the road all the time, being plugged isn't that bad, we pay premium to have everything in a small enclosure and that's it.

Do you get any screen backlight bleed? It's quite bad on my G14.
Do you know if the RGB keyboard comes as standard on the Zephyrus G line? Either mine doesn't have it or the software ain't picking it up.
Do you also get washed out colours over HDMI?
so no no backlight bleeds on this panel, the RGB keyboard should be a standard feature on the 2023 model with the I7 and I9. when on HDMI to my G9 the colors looked good and framerate was fast. when I used the Hub to connect the G7 and G9 I did notice some colors did not pop as usual. that could just be the Hub tbh.
Backlight bleed depends on the panel itself, you can get the same laptop and they will have different bleed levels
Can you do a temperature test in AIDA64?
What should i get? Zephyrus g16 i9 rtx 4070 or Legion Pro 5i gen 8 rtx 4060? Any thoughts? I'm planning to upgrade my old laptop, but I'm not sure what to pick.
Question of durability go for zephyrus, for performance legion, legion didnt termal throttle like the zephyrus

This laptop can be OS downgraded to Windows 10 but the still remains the Asus Software or other bloatware?
You have to use asus bloat to be able to control fans and gpu modes
a question . The air outlet at the top of the laptop does not damage a screen over time
Take breaks between gaming to avoid screen damage over time.
I’m worried about the screen brightness at 300 nits? Can we see anything in outdoors?

Hi buddy... Can you please tell me if it really supports windows hello feature(facial recognition) and I don't know what type of RGB lights are in the keyboard... Like will the 4 5 colours keep blinking like this(as I have seen in almost every video) or it can also show all the colors at once like rainbow...
Yes it has facial recognition and it works well.. as soon as i open the laptop it recognizes me and unlocks screen to open up. The colors can be any colors you choose from solid to rainbow ... flashing or breathing, solid... ect
i found this one with i7 12700h and 4070 with qhd+ 240hz monitor at 1450 euros, is it worth it?

The Helios has slight more power ..I believe both have i7 , 16gs Ram, and 4060 to 4080

10 to 15 Seconds or less, it is incredibly fast.
This is so close to having everything I want.... it is a nice laptop but, it needs a num pad and per key rgb as that will instantly add another 10fps in every game 🙂. I like the fact that it has an SD card slot. Also needs dual channel RAM

I would say yes it is still worth it. Unless you are going for a high end system, and willing to deal with some of the growing issues ddr5 is going with right now. Ddr 4 is still a very good solution and will perform very well for the next few years. I hope this helps
Funny that he says that i7 is not a professional laptop level. If you are a professional and need compute, you will be doing it on a laptop.
I purchased this laptop and have had no issues .. I did upgrade ram to 48 gb and slapped at 1 tb ssd inside.. I just cant leave anything alone..

Yes, Fortnite isn’t the most graphic intensive game
I thought this laptop sucked but honestly I threw another ram stick and other gaming are too conspicuous, chonky, or they have a really flimsy plasticky feel. This has a very nice feeling keyboard, trackpad and screen.

those vents from the back are blowing hot air directly into screen's bottom. Does that affect anything in the screen for long term? Please clarify that is the only concern for me before buying this laptop

No it's not affecting it in terms of long run. This kind of design has been here over 3 years If Im right and there has not been issues with this since I know. I did a little research also if there was a problem with this but it does not seems like it is

I currently own this laptop and would like to share a few drawbacks I've noticed:
The fan tends to be quite noisy.
The battery life is disappointing, often feeling almost nonexistent.
It frequently overheats, which is a significant concern.
Regular maintenance is required to clean out dust due to its design, which includes multiple openings and crevices that easily accumulate dust."
I have a question as someone who is wanting to buy this. Does the battery drain fast even when doing some light tasks, like watching TH-cam or reading something? Or were you gaming while not plugged in?
