the part where she literally searched to see if he got in a car accident broke my heart.. she put her heart and soul into this boy.
ive had the same experience happen when I was in my first relationship back in 2019. I was young and dumb and in love and when he answered the phone he cussed me out for adding his friend on snapchat to see if he's okay because he was with his group of friends. Obviously he has matured over the years and we are both in new relationships but having to deal with that at 14 was just enough to learn about who I need in my life so really this is a good lesson for Emma. She deserves the best and never feel bad for loving someone.

I had this happen with my most recent ex and he turned it around on me and made me seem like the bad guy, he was out all night DRINKING with his friends and I didn’t hear from him until the next morning. of course I’m gonna worry about the worst case scenario 🤦🏻♀️ cheating crossed my mind too but my main concern was that something happened to him.

The fact that you're able to realize that he's the one in the wrong and not putting the blame on yourself is a sign of strength. Probably the hardest thing to do after the breakup or even right before.
you can tell she has a good support system because a lot of people lose themselves in relationships to the point where they have no one to talk to. and when something goes wrong people often times blame themselves even if it’s the other person’s fault
I’m slightly older than you, and I had this exact situation right out of high school. Do not let anybody gaslight you that this is not cheating, it broke a boundary you had in a relationship which therefore is cheating. Nobody else’s opinion matters. I’m so sorry you are having to deal with this.

Yes! Cheating for sure. My husband didnthis. He asked another girl on a dinner date after months of talking to her behind my back. He didn't end up going out to eat but the fact he talked to her for konths and then asked her out is cheating. I was home with our toddlers whole all this was happening. He would yell at me and telk.me he never cheated on me cuz it wasn't physical. He was full of crap.

I use Snapchat including my moms friends but I literally have no drama on there at all it’s peaceful actually which is strange. My advice to you, as someone older and who’s been through this more than once: Stop giving him any of your energy. He’s not worth worrying about, talking about, defending yourself over. The people who matter will know you well enough to know the truth of the situation. As for the others, they aren’t anyone. Literal strangers or people you shouldn’t want in your life anyway. Sounds like this guy is a real piece of work- and like he’s enjoying the attention and power he feels in the situation. Don’t give him the satisfaction of even acknowledging him.
