My 4 month old Doberman is the same size as your 6 month old puppies. This is exactly why I've been training her since she was 9 weeks old.

Ok the first tought after watching your video "oh that is human meant to be" like we are the leader, we're not following the dog. The dog must to following us. That's the problem, people doing the bad technic becoming dog's slave and dog will be grown up spoiled...
thank you sir for your psychology method 👍

My 5 month old walks great in the direction away from the house , and pulls like crazy on the way home . No matter how many times I change direction , she wants to be ahead going home . Very frustrating!

Make sure you shorten the leash and have her by your side. Practice the loose leash walking in the home first, then in the driveway.

when should leash training start? Early? If not the very young puppy (eg 11 weeks) just wanders around everywhere and also, of course, trying to eat anything...sometimes too late to intervene since it is not on the leash...hence, shall the leash be on the puppy until they grow a bit older or let them play around without leash (for all here, I mean outside in nature).

I usually start my puppies on the leash at about 16 to 18 wks. Prior to that the dog is never left unattended. We also have more than one dog, so the puppy tends to follow the other dogs, which makes training a lot easier.

What do you do when they run out in front of you?

I was wondering, do you start out your puppies real early on this, or wait until they have all their shots etc?

you can work with your younger ones inside the home. Having all the vaccines would be very important before going out where other dogs have been
