Easily the most refined and educated extreme metal drummer currently alive today. There just is not a single person who can parallel Jamie. Long live brother.
Oh, it's very simple, you just mix up jazz technique, blast beats and Chernobly radiation in order to grow 4 extra limbs and you're ready to play like him.
I would put Ulcerate in the top 5 for most important Tech Death bands alive right now. Though I think they transcend the simple label of "tech death"
This guy is seriously one of the best active drummers and Ulcerate is a top tier band
The whole album is a eargasm.
Dude's got top-notch talent. Plus the whole album's a killer. Was listening to it 3 days ago.
5 years has passed and Still no one on this planet can beat that performance or drum notes .. Authentic wow
The guy is pulling off an extreme yet beautiful and amazingly musical drumwork.
Just found out about him recently, quickly became one of my favorite drummers.
Breathtaking.
technical drumfills, powerful doublebass and blastbeats that's like the perfect drummer 🤘
I hope they release a video like this one for Stare into Death and Be Still. C'mon Debemur Morti Productions
Impeccable yet honest.
One of the best bands around. And it has been for some time
So fluid, yet precise! Impressive!
I like the part with the blast beats
I'm glad I'm not the only one to pick up on his interesting drumming style. Am transcribing "drown within" at the moment and it's proving to be a pretty tricky one, such awesome grooves in there.
Amazing drummer and band
He's so good it actually pisses me off haha
This is what I think of whenever I watch that video of Buddy Rich criticizing drummers who use match grip.
