+30 sins: there wasnt 2 bulls, no Calypso, no genie pig scene, they made the cyclops live on a amusement park, kronos was revived, luke died, ages are still wrong, prophecy was told a hell of a lot earlier. percy's sword is completely wrong, Thalia didnt die like that and it wasn't just three cyclopes it was a horde of monsters. Luke's cruse ship was a yacht and had a manticorn.
+100 sins for the directors not even following the source material and adding whatever random bs they wanted.
At the end sort of he was like "They left him with his sword?" bruh it magically appears in his pocket at any timw

Like in the 1st movie had this military badass always weapon on hand camp with every single fighting training going on, then the bull (The 1st threat that happened to the camp itself, since Hades in the 1st movie just wanted to chat) bashed in through the security EVERY SINGLE ONE of those badass students ran away like little b*tches leaving only the main characters to fight because of the plot.
Sharingus -/l/- a little late but felt like pointing out it was in the summer. almost all of the campers were gone. the rest were running around on fire or laying around wounded majorly. with only clarisse and a few ares cabin kids left still fighting. Percy also had trouble doing fuck all to them.

Except that it's primarily a SUMMER camp. Most of the campers go home during the school year.

@@0zer018 actually what was wrong was that that never happened in the books. The winds were never used improperly in the original story. In fact Percy was the one who came to the conclusion to use the winds to make their getaway. And their were only 13 at the time.

Same goes for their houses, they sleep to a house that is assigned to their respectivve god.
Also they made sure to clearly mark the differences between each childrens of each god so we can reckognize them more easily.
When you arrive in the camp and your father/mother is unknown, you go to the Hermes house until we know where to place you.
If you happen to be a children of Ares for example, you go with them and all the ugly ones. What do you say ? Clarisse isn't ugly af in the movie ? Well that's another mistake the movie made, in the books, Clarysse is described to be exactly liek the other childrens of Ares, ugly, rude, grumpy all the time and wanting to fight with everyone. She's pretty worse than the others because she's a big bully. To sum up: In the books, Clarysse is a violent, nasty, ugly, bullying asshole. In the movie ? Well she's hot and she's only a lil' bit sassy but that's about it.
Also she appear straight at book 1 but she pretty much doesn't exist in movie 1.

First film: Trying to adapt the first book, keeping many themes from the book, still not a good film, but they tried.
Second film: Named after the second book, takes random shit from all the others, skips to Kronos being revived, has no tension, then Kronos dies in 5 minutes.

Well in their defence, no one on the greek side ever knew about the Roman camp(except for Chiron but he barely knew anything other than that it existed) (which is where Jason was), Nico is younger than Percy (at least in the books) and Bianca dies (atleast in the books).

1. Movie Annabeth is a super hot model who doesn't do anything but bully Tyson, scream when Percy's in trouble, scream when she's in trouble, and remind everyone at random moments that she's "goddess of wisdoms daughter"
2. Why is there a mechanical bull?
3. WHY did I not see Percy and Tyson blow up the school gym?
4. Grover isn't supposed to be at camp in the first place, he's supposed to be in the sea of monsters (hence Percy's dream in the beginning of the book)

This movie was so inaccurate in accordance with the book that I don't even want to know what they would do if they were to make a third movie.
You can't fix the book's storyline in the movie anymore.

Are you sure you mean Reyna? The Son of Neptune is part of the Heroes of Olympus series, not Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Not only that, but as far as I can remember, Reyna wasn't introduced until The Son of Neptune. That, and she's a Roman.
I agree with everything except Reyna. She has absolutely nothing to do with this, or any other Percy Jackson book/movie. You could argue the Romans, and Jason, retro-actively do since Jason was leading Romans to fight at another place.

This story is actually in Demigod files and its around book 2 or 3's timeline, Percy is in class at school and looks out the window and sees Clarrise, she explains her immortal twin brothers who drives Ares's chariot played a trick on her. She was told by her father to collect it from where he left it and bring it back, Percy sees how scared she is of Ares finding out she lost the chariot, so he helps her ger it back on time. . . Its Demigod Files right?

it's funny how Percy and Annabeth almost go insane and die in Tartarus but Luke is perfectly fine after going there and dragging around a giant gold sarcophagus. Nico is like almost insane but Luke shows no signs of that. The plot holes are real!

This movie was a slap in the face to the Percy Jackson fans. They probably read a synopsis of the book for which they based the movie off of. The film attempts the humor of the book, but instead, it turns everyone in the movie into complete idiots. The prime example would be Tyson.
In the book, Tyson formed a bond with Percy based on how he defended him from the bullies at his school. He didn't just blunder into camp knowing everything to who his father was and hoping for a brother.
Another example of poor writing is Annabeth's hate for Tyson/Cyclops. In the book, Annabeth had a valid reason for hating Cyclops due to the fact that one manipulated her and her friends using her father's voice and getting Thalia killed. The movie didn't show any information that Cyclops have the ability to copy voices. The movie also made Annabeth hate Tyson because one of the monsters chasing them happened to be a Cyclops. With this logic, Annabeth should hate all humans too.
Another glaring issue is the revealing of Silena to be an enemy RIGHT IN THE SECOND INSTALLMENT OF THE SERIES. And they also made her a stuck up teenage girl at that. In the novel series, we find out of her betrayal in the final book, and it was a very touching moment as well. The fact that they revealed her this early on shows that the producers have failed to grasp the basic foundation of the Percy Jackson series.
This movie has many more flaws when compared to the original series which I feel does not have to be put in this comment. If someone wants to ask me of those flaws and my opinion on them, I'll share more of what my opinion is.

It’s interesting how you mentioned Zeus not being able to just save Thalia. That was actually a point in the book for why Luke distrusted the gods. He felt betrayed that the king of the gods let his own daughter die. But I guess they just cut that really interesting thread about Luke.

I was talking about parts of Percy Jackson to a friend and I start talking about how the “nobody scene” and I said it’s a funny part and my friend asked what it that. I asked her what she meant and she said,” well I only watched the movie but it’s pretty similar I’m sure like when Kronos comes back.” She got lucky she didn’t “fall” off a cliff the next day.

I really despise this movie series. The books are awesome, and they have some many epic moments. The fact that the movie didn't make it like the book, and didn't add the things that made the books the Percy Jackson series, really says a lot that they just kinda tried to make their own little Percy Jackson series, and there's really only one for me. I HATE this movie series. When I saw that you were sinning this, I was like, "YEAH!".
BTW, in the book, Dionysus kept saying their names wrong, just to annoy them, even though he knew their real names. So, that's not the movie's choice, and I'm not sure you should sin that.

To be honest, when you're in the author's shoes, and someone is asking if they can make a movie off of your book, you kinda don't know what it'll be until it's out. When they say, "We're gonna make a really cool dragon, that's a comic relief character!" the author might think it's a regular dragon with a smarty attitude. But the movie creator might make it like a stupid badly animated dragon while it makes really stupid jokes that make you want to strangle the stupid thing, or for it to go away but it never happens.

-They see the bulls when they get to camp only after getting away from cannibal monsters
-They got to the camp in a Taxi where Percy is told where to find Grover BEFORE getting to camp
-The prophecy says the half blood has to be 16, not 20
-Percy was told to stay in camp, but Hermes comes to him, not Percy to Hermes
-Hermes gives him gummies and the wind. And the snakes where in a phone thing
-After that he leaves 3 duffle bags for Tyson, Annabeth and Percy
-This was Clarisse's quest
-They dont see Luke again again until Miami, not right after getting the fleece.
-kronos didnt rise, Luke never even got his hands on the Fleece, Clarisse took it straight to the camp.
-When Annabeth fell, she almost died, thats when they use the fleece.
-Grover would cover his face with a vail, not a fake eye
-It took days for Talia to appear, and when she did, people freaked out and wouldnt even touch her.
-Again... they where 13!!!!!!!!!!
-They don't mention that Chris and Silena were with Luke until the 4th and 5ft book

-Iris messages, in this case the camp finds out that Luke is a traitor bc Percy sent a secret Iris message to camp and got Luke to admit he was working for Kronos in front of everyone

Also I’m pretty sure that if Kronos came back like that Percy Jackson, his friends and Luke would all turn to dust because Kronos showed his true form.

I need to answer this question at 12:32. SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!In the books that's called the great prophecy and Percy doesn't get to know about it till 5th book The Last Olympian. But the second book The Sea of Monsters has a different prophecy which goes:
You shall sail the iron ship with warriors of bone,
You shall find what you seek and make it your own,
But despair for your life entombed within stone,
And fail without friends, to fly home alone.
This prophecy is intended to Clarisse cuz it's her quest officially. I think they got lazy n used the great prophecy instead and they changed the plot to fit the prophecy. So I thought that there wasn't going to be a next movie since it looked like they ended it using the great prophecy and also by "defeating Kronos"( which never happens in the books btw. He's resurrected in the end of the 4th book The Battle of the Labyrinth ). But they resurrected Thalia who's a main character in the next book and stated that the prophecy could've meant Thalia as well. That's Soo wrong a movie contradicting it's own plot. The worst adaptation they could've come up with.

So from what I've gotten from the comment section, this movie is to Percy Jackson fans like what Eragon (movie) was to Eragon (book) fans. And if we're going that route, Airbender to Avatar fans.
So basically, all complete shit movies based off of really good original series.

Are you still salty about the Romans as well, taking your people and making them into slaves? It's as relevant. The books aren't supposed to be accurate an retelling of the original myths. They are supposed to be influenced by them and use them for plot points. I don't know why people are so upset by the myths being changed- they are myths, not real. The stories themselves probably changed thousands of times in the day.
