We had a lot of fun playing this game. The combat loop is fun. Performance definitely needs to improve, and some of the other aspects outside of the combat are lacking (repetitive mission structure, side quest, open world activities etc.) but overall definitely worth a playthrough. Especially if you enjoy this era. Full game walkthrough will be up in a couple of hours. And now we start working on Dragon's Dogma!

Only 2 hours in but gotta say, some parts of it have real Assassins Creed vibes - like the "Landmark visited" graphics and near the beginning, on a cliff overlooking the city and a large bird flies by. 🦅🐧
Just finished, and this was really well done! Definitely had that AC vibe throughout, including the eagle screeches lol. I did have trouble keeping track of which side the player was on, all of them at once I guess :D Good stuff. 🐧

Lovely work, but the english v.o kills all the immersion, imho.
This is something that makes total difference, as you wouldn't play a game set in ancient Italy with chinese v.o.
It just doesn't make sense.
The Rise of the Ronin was a really good and amazing! Wow a very impressive game/movie/film I have seen for a while now! It looks like there is going to be a second sequel to this game a hopefully. I cried so much when his buddy/guy friend had died and I felt bad that he had to kill his partner at end too. If things had gone better and that his blade partner hadn’t joined the evil, bad side a lot of things would’ve have gone smoother. A without any bloodshed or war between them.
Overall, this game was/is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. The only drawback I give this game is when a major cut scene is in full effect. The main protagonist still uses the default sword, he started with at the beginning of the game. As opposed to a redesigned sword, the player picks. Overall, it's still a great game. Definitely, in my opinion,one of the best games of 2024!

This game should be a sequel to Netflix’s Blue Eyes: Samurai, cause that series takes place at the high of The Edo Period, as for this game takes place at it’s end. The world Mizu wanted to live in. 😉
It's such a shame there is no main character voice acting in this game. Kinda strange they ask you for different types of heir voices when you're editing the player though

Because it depends on the player made in the character creation can be male or female
@@soku330 sure but then wouldnt that automatically refer the other blade twin with the gender he didnt select. like if made a male character then my female blade twin would be referred to as she but there she was being referred as they.
