The Sin and the Sentence is the song I use to turn people on to Trivium. It's an undeniable masterpiece with elements for everyone that makes you want to check out more.
I'll also add, that like most bands, if you sort their top videos by views, those 2 at the top are decently soft. Even though they have a ton of views, they are likely not gonna be the favorites within your community

Ascendancy, and like light to the flies, of off the ascendancy album(one of their earliest albums) are really good. But these really show how far they've come with sound compaired to their new stuff(like Matt's voice has grown a lot, even the mixing/tuning), kind of cool to compair new stuff to old stuff with how technology has advanced in the music world. The whole album is good tho, same with almost all of their albums(shogun, the crusade,strife,etc). But they've been around a while

My band opened up then it was trivium, it dies today, all that remains and black dahlia murder headlining. It was awesome! About 80 people in attendance!

Trivium is absolutely amazing. I didn't catch if its the first hear of the band or the song but trust me they have lots of other bangers you're missing out on!
If you want something newer that has more harsh vocals I say go with Thrown Into the Fire off their 2017 album. If you want a banger from back in the day you can’t go wrong with Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation or Rain.
Bro I wouldn’t even put Catastrophist in my top 30 Trivium songs. But, I respect your opinion and more power to you. My personal favs are: Callisto, Thrown, Dusk, Gunshot and Amongst.

The sin and the sentence is a fucking great album and I love every song from it but I have to recommend you go even further back, possibly even to the begin if you want to dive into Trivium. They are great, every album has a unique sound and sounds different. I look forward to seeing more trivium on the channel 👍
Like light to the flies, has one of the nastiest guitar riffs i've ever heard. Unfortunately they seem to cut out the majority of said riff in the music video. You would need to listen to an audio version of the song to hear it... Also Ascendancy has great riffs. These are just the songs that got me into Trivium 10+ years ago
This seems to be the album version which cuts out a sick instrumental one minute long intro. If you want the full song gotta watch the official music video. Do you have any idea why the album version cuts it out? Just bought it in itunes and was very disappointed to see it was a minute shorter!
you should react to this new boy group called KINGDOM they debuted with EXCALIBUR and they are telling the story of king arthur and its like watching a movie and they are from GF entertainment pls check they out you will not be disappointed! :)

@@Hoopsick the softer songs are great and all but the heavy ones are where the real trivium sound comes out the most in my opinion.
If you loved that one, you need to check "Amongst the Shadows and the Stones" from the same album.
