I finally installed my" Gnarly" brand full exhaust sounds Wicked! Didnt melt my turn signal either! Well worth the $99 I paid , what a great- and fun motorcycle 🎉
Oh my freaking gosh , your video is the only one I've been able to find in English on this norifumi exhaust system bro , thanks for making a video on this exhaust,
Yeah, that was a big issue when I was trying to figure out if I wanted to buy that exhaust to begin with. Since they were the only ones that I could find that sold an exhaust for that bike currently I decided to take a chance.
So far on the couple of rides that I’ve taken it on since putting the exhaust the turn signal hasn’t gotten too hot but also it’s winter so I don’t know if that has a part to play so I guess when we get closer to spring or summer we’ll see if it becomes more of an issue.
I was thinking of using some reflective exhaust tape on the signal. I’m curious if it will work. I just ordered that exact exhaust because of this video. I think you are doing a great job! Keep up the great work!! I look forward to seeing more of your content
I hope you like the exhaust! Its definitely nice sounding while riding. Hopefully I get a slightly warm day so I can get a good riding video in. But for the turn signal, I’ve been kind of looking at getting one of those tail tidy through Yoshimura cause from the pictures it looks like it may reposition the signal a little higher.
Hey. Im new to the "new" dirt bike scene. I just got a 2021 230 dual sport. Do I have to get a chip if I put an exhaust on this thing. Back in the day a pipe was the cheap thing to do...
You don’t have to, but I put a kawasakibrad o2 eliminator on which helps richen up the fuel and helps make the bike happier with the pipe.. in us it cost like 37 dollars so not expensive and easy to put on. I did a video on it recently
Does it add any horsepower or just sound cause ik other brand like fmf pro circuit and all that add hp and sound great Im pretty sure it does but wanna see if it’s noticeable 😂
so with the other exhaust you tend to need the bike tuned to see an power difference. ex my crf250l when I put on a fmf powercore 4 i had to get an ejk tuner to take out the flat spot the exhaust gave it and increase power. For this bike I didn't need to put any fuel tuner on the bike for it to run well with this pipe.
So the header flange that connects to the head of the motor sticks out a little bit but where the header pipe and the slip on meet it is pretty tight together
Aye bro this exhaust, since it’s been a year, do you recommend it? And did you have to delete 02 sensors, I don’t remember I just rewatched this but skipped to the exhaust sound cuz I’m trying to decide what I want
I definitely recommend it, the sound is great and it seems to be holding up well. No, you do not need to do the O2 delete. It ran perfectly fine without it. I personally did the O2 just to see how much of a difference it would make.
Hi bud, I’ve just got a 2023 230 sm. Is this exhaust something I could go into my local Moto shop and have them order and put on? I’m having trouble finding parts for this bike cause it’s so new (fender eliminator etc)
@@samichez8126 honestly it is a fun around town bike/ back roads bike. But it definitely isn’t a hwy bike. Its very lightweight so on hwy it wouldn’t be super comfortable for long distances. it does seem happy around the 55-60 mph range at round 70 it’ll do it but not as comfortably.
oh dangggg, well if you decide to do kawasakibrad o2 delete that takes care of the o2 problem. but that really sucks otherwise. besides that it fit well?
@@pitbikemike dopee. and do you know if there is power commanders yet for it or additional exhausts. Are the parts interchangeable between mine and yours pretty much? I have a 2023 klx230s. ima also subcribe to your channel bro
@@amurray2222 supposably there is a powercomander for our bikes but I haven't seen one, but another subscriber mentioned kawasakibrad makes a o2 delete piece that helps richen up the fuel some. For exhaust, I haven't seen really any other options that's why I went for Norifumi originally. which I found out about them because they liked and commented on my post on IG
I have not put a tune or fuel controller on it and it’s ran pretty good, I did buy a o2 delete that supposedly adds 3% of enrichment but we will see when I install it if there is a difference

Norifumi very popular in indonesia for dual purpose motor cycle
Looks and sounds great! I’m curious on your solution for the turn signal. Great video!

it ended up melting. so I did a tst tail tidy which I really have liked so far

Hey does the flange that goes into the manifold the little circle flange does that stick out a little when installing right ?

I’m not sure whether a shop could order it for you, but I know they would probably be able to put it on for you without too many issues
@@pitbikemike thanks man, I’m really excited bout this bike. It’s not my first but my fav by far
How many miles are you getting on a full tank with this bike?
I have been getting up to 78 mpg and it is a two gallon tank. so I normally Fill up every 100 miles.

Does it eventually sizzle your right rear turn signal?
So far with putting 160 miles on bike since installing, havent had any sizzling yet.
