Wick Replacement- Haller Saffire / Safe-e-fire kerosene Heaters

Could not find any information on how to replace the wick on these Haller Saffire / Safe-e-Fire so after i figured out how, I wanted to share my gathered knowledge. As for the wick, an Aladdin 15 heater 3 Inch wick (part number P159905) works great. Do not forget to remove those copper tabs that are stapled on the wick before using it on any of the above mentioned haller heaters

i have the same heater, works great. i have to replace the wick, but i couldn't find it anywhere. Going to look for a Aladdin wick. Thanks for sharing!

Glad to be of help! err... yes it is a flaw... if your heater gets stuck, there is actually no way to turn it off... probably you d have to put some fire blanket or so. but i have been using this heater for years and it never got stuck. the good thing is, that it is very simple so theres not much that can go wrong ...
