With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from Memphis' Beale Street. The Hammond organ and electric guitar play together as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to electric piano. 011

Once had a buddy who owned 66 coronet 440, 12.5 compression, 780 holly double pump dual feed w/electric fuel pump, 727 torque w/3500 speed converter and shift kit, headers w/cherry bomb mufflers. Had less than 1000 mi. on rebuilt engine and he paid $2000.00 cash for it in 1979 w/all receipts from previous owner. At the time I had a 70 ltd 2 door coup w/429 and we used to terrorize the streets on weekends. Brings back such fond memories.
My dad had a red 66' Charger 383 white interior. As a kid we had lots of family times it rode smooth. Miss dad and his Charger.
Very nice opening sequence, and a great drive too! Beautiful car too, thanks for posting it!
Nice Charger man, can't beat the sound of them Hemis.
Thanks for showing my dream car, can't stop rewatching
They definitely are cool looking cars. This one is particularly nice too. Thanks for checking it out!
the 727 Torqueflite might have been the best trans of all time. I have had about 10 with no problems.
Th400 is legendary!
Doesn't get much prettier than that. I just bought one 2 days ago. 383 727. Can't wait to see her.
They're not laws, so much as they are general guidelines...lol. Thanks for watching Matt, it really is a wicked machine.
Absolutely one of the best ever made!!
Glad you liked it, thanks for taking a look!
beautiful car, has real presence, i can only imagine how people felt in 1966 when they saw such a design, Great video work and editing, top class
Great advertisement for the crate motor. Cool stuff.
Thanks, I'm glad you are liking the new camera angles. We'll keep trying new things. Thanks for watching!
My grandpa had a gold 66 charger hemi 4 speed, bought it brand new. My dad remembers being in the backseat as my grandpa was going sideways out of the dealership. Im going to own one of these cars, one day.
I'm almost 60 and I bought a gold 383 charger two days ago. See ya. And I'm a retired or retarded airbrush artist so I have plans, lmao...
I just bought a gold one. It's a 383 727 car but she only has 86k miles and is in very good shape. I'd rather have the 440 but I don't want to spend that much money. It's actually the gold one in the TH-cam video. Keep looking there are some bargains out there. I waited 35 years to get this car. I had a 70 Coronet 500 in college and then I got married and 4 kids so I sold it for $800. Now I can't find one for less than $70k. Crazy world!
That's true and this is a particularly nice one. Thanks for taking a look my friend!
...or no car. This video makes me miss living in missouri more than ever, up here in the rust belt all the old cars have either been crushed or are rotten beyond repair. great vid.
No Coments for Seven Years ? I'll have to share this ! I like older Mopars ! I like the Boxy 66/67 Belvederes Coronets GTX'S AND THE CHARGER FAST BACK IS COOL TOO !! NEED TO SEE THEM RACING EACH OTHER !! PURE STOCK RACING SHOULD TRY TO GET A HEMI DAY GOING !! VERY NICE VIDEO !!
Thanks for watching Robert. TH-cam is so huge now, a lot of these old videos get lost out there :)
Nice car but I personally would have just preferred the dual pipes with no chrome tips as they came from the factory. I would also have put the original Hemi signs on the fenders. What’s the horsepower rating with the single 4 barrel carb?
Glad you like them, they're my favorite type to make too. Thanks for watching!
That is a nice car It was redone very well Your camera shots are Great !! It's cool to see the body mounted camera as it's rolling down the road
Had one with a 383, loved it- Hemi with one 4 barrel carb- didn't know they had one carb versions.
Very cool, I have a 67 I’m bringing back to life 😎
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
Yeah, it's hard to beat a little T-bucket that's setup right. Thanks for taking a look at the Charger George, I appreciate it!
Thanks, my friend Steve, from Area Rides, shot that opening clip...along with the other close-ups. I appreciate you taking a look!
Thanks for taking a look!
Glad you like it Todd, thanks for watching!
It's definitely a strong runner. Thanks for watching Murray, I appreciate it.
It's a nice Charger, but I
think they should call it a
resto-mod. Crate-motor
with a single-quad?
1960's Americana like this car will never be equaled again. The Dodge 426 Hemi sat at the very summit of American V-8 muscle car achievement for straight on acceleration and engine sound. Nothing...and I mean NOTHING! will ever sound as good as a healthy, in tune Dodge 426 Hemi.
amen
John Costanzo right fun i am watching this cause i ran across a 66 dodge charger today
they make better dodges today Costanzo
today's dodge has up to 800 hp, this old hemi is slower and has worse brakes and worse suspension and gets worse mileage and worse tires, need I go on? get a fucking brain
@@billybobrhineback8199OH come on now, I wouldn't be caught dead in a Fiat, and Fiat designed engines certainly are not the dominant force in Top Fuel!
Since it's not completely original, get a 4 speed in that thing! I had a 66 with a worked 361 orphan engine. I saw the future when I first bought the car. It was electroluminecent.
Excellent video & beautiful '67 Hemi Charger!!
JackFlemingFan Thank you, glad you like it. It really is an amazing machine.
Very well done video guys! Gorgeous car and best ever power plant!
Thank you, we're glad you like it!
ɷɷɷ Heeyy Friendss I Have Foundddd Workingggg Online Hacck visitt : - t.co/ojNHSYFB3m
best looking charger for sure
Thanks for watching Bill!
My favorite yr 66 67
Thank you, I appreciate that.
One of the absolute GREATS !
My guess is that it makes about 465 HP with the single four barrel and 480+ LbFt. It seems to run out really well for an automatic.
My first vehicle was the old family car, a yellow '67 Charger with a 383 and a black vinyl top.
As my Bahama Mama wife would say, "That's one big IRON DONKEY".😮
Love this car, it's worth huge money!
John Crosetto masterbation
Nice, My brothers friend had one in school, wasn't a Hemi, but it was sweet. If you are driving an Automatic, put in drive and go, stop trying to be a gearhead by shifting.
Wow this baby looks like she just floats down the highway. xD what a beautiful machine, wish I had one or money for one
Amazing video and soundtrack very nice. Congratulations!
Ill take one in each color starting with RED! Sweet sweet sweet I wouldn't change a thing here.
That sounds AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RamblinAround It's not a TOY !!! It's very cool collectors scale model !!! Real ERTL Authentic little rare now actualy :)))
Excellent video & sharp looking '66 Dodge Charger!!
GORGEOUS!
YES /////////////////////

Wait a sec.... those Hemi badges are NOT correct for 1966-67 as far as I recall.
Beautiful.
1 special car ,i like the v-8 sound and power
Lovely work brother..your videos are great
Almost identical to the car Grandpa bought for my mother brand new in 66. Hemi and all. 426 hemi name plates on the front fenders are different. I wish she'd have kept it.
Very nice car!!
Bad ass sound, bad ass car.
gorgeous
2-28-19 Jan and Dean Live - Little Old Lady from Pasadena 2:22 (pkgannon) Wow what a Beauty !
She actually had a Super Stock Dodge. A stripped down car made strictly for racing. Some didn't have back seats or window cranks or so I read?
I used to have a 383 car automatic power steering silver red interior
Nice car , Like the driving videos.
Very nice presentation great filming and a beautiful car that I would love to own. (:-)
my parents had 1 but it was destroyed in a garage fire over 2 years ago the bought the car from the original owner back on 1981 when my family lived in FL. The car even had its original window sticker
that's sad
the day that happened my dad ran down to the garage to get in and back the car out by the time he got there it was too late.
Pretty slick buddy!
loving the new style of video now... what a slick machine. i'd drive the pants off er!
I bought a white 66 charger, with red interior with a 383 in it, I paid 500$ for it, back in 1982, when I was 18 years old. Wrecked it in 85. Bought a 70 RT CHALLENGER for 400$ with no engine, put the 383 in it, than an ASSHOLE rear ended me on the fwy in 86. Bought a 70 CUDA for 500$ AGAIN, changed everything over, a little old man took me out in 91, FUCK ME!!!! Miss those cars and those days!!!
You got some bad luck man! I sold my 70 Coronet 500 that had every option known, for $800 to pay my last semester of college. Now if I find one it's at least 70k.
I want it !!
Beauty
I honestly never knew you could drive an auto like a manual.
Yeah people choose to go through the low to high gears like an automatic. Personally, I don't know why. If you're gonna drive an auto like a manual, just get a manual. but yeah you can actually drive an auto like a manual.
The manual gear option on an automatic is useful if going down a steep hill to avoid riding the brakes.
I always drove my Coronet like a manual. They called it slap stick because you could literally slap the shifter into the next gear. Badass cars those Mopars!
you don't see a 1966 every day that's forsure
Epic :D
Tighten the fan belt...lol
how much you want for it
BIG FISH
there were no charger rag tops
To much sad to see an imposing and glorious Dodge like this and to think that today the brand is becoming more and more just a boring Fiat!
And a four door, Yuk!
'66 Chargers are not attractive 😒 that hemi looks good though 👍
hey you sell your car??? ... the money ...???
You messed it up -
An original 426 hemi emblem looks better.
Too bad it's an automatic though
