I think in wartime we start to trust our enemies is because you know they are going through the same thing as you, separated from your family, superiors screaming in your ears, your friends dying in front of you as you still continue to fight. So when the pope said that there should be a break in war for Christmas, everyone thought of it as a dream. Of course the superiors didn't agree, but you did. All it took was one man to step out with that Christmas dream in hand. A lot of times in history all it takes is one man with a dream to change things, even the bad.
The Christmas truce of 1916 was unique. In 1917 it wouldn’t happen. Anyone who tried to make a truce was court martialed. The allies and central powers ordered artillery to fire 24 hours during Christmas. The soldiers had experienced gas attacks and flamethrowers. German airships were bombing London. And most of the soldiers who started the truce a year ago had been killed.

I just don't have the heart to become "always cheat" because there are a select few people that I do still trust. Though, they're few and far between.

I think the reason we trust our enemies in wartime more then our friends in piece time is because during war the people are the opposing sides are more predictable. They both are there fighting for what they believe in. You can trust that when you see them they are going to shoot you. Then comes the point that when you are fighting for a extended amount of time you get to know each other better then most friends would. While in peacetime your friend could be secretly and slowly stabbing you in the back. They are much more unpredictable. It is much easier to trust someone who holds a gun to your face then someone who is your friend in your face but holds a knife to your back.
The problem isn't friends stabbing your back but you not expecting it. This is why it's unpredictable. I have a mindset that if my friend does stab me in the back, they have a solid reason for it but I don't think "there is NO WAY they will betray me like that!". This is why I always find the shock in the face of betrayal to be bemusing. I guess friendship makes most people turn from Copycats into Cooperators and this ends up getting them screwed over?
It's a really interesting view on society today and the trust-mechanic. Because it really does work that way. There are those different types of "Players" and the inclusion of "mistakes" is really important and extremely fascinating to see. The effects all of this has on our day to day life is gigantic. We can all learn from this.

Here is why predators work like this, they are pack hunters but are aggressive against all other teams, they will start by stealing and if the other starts with coop they can’t be a predator and are instead the enemy to be hunted and the predator locks in steal like always steal does. If you choose cooperate the second round and steal for the first round you’ve proven that you’re an allied predator and both players cooperate. This ai does not lock in always cooperate because real players can steal later and prove to be an enemy and not a fellow predator. This team is made to be a lot like always steals, except that they cooperate with their teammates which gives them a huge advantage over always steals. Always steals are the best choice individually but when played for groups they fail to continueally outcompete the others because they can’t cooperate and so the more players that are always steals the less prey there are to steal from while cooperates can team up to gain more points overall. The predator fixes this by finding allies and stealing from enemies
Who tf disliked this video? This is a life lesson for crying out loud! Thanks Matt for playing this philosophical game and help teach us new and important things!
GamingMonster, they are probs like, I DONT WANA LEARN MATT!!! DISLIKE BITCH. I WANT GAMES, GAMES GAME GAMES. those are dislikers on life lesson utube vids
Hey, this is by Nicky Case, the same guy who made "We Become What We Behold." It's more of an experience, whereas this is more like an experiment, but it's also a portrayal of human nature, the media, and politics. You should definitely make a video on it.
Kai Blahnik Oh, that's why the style looked exactly the same! Don't know how Matt would play WBWWB though, since as you put it, it's more of an experience than anything and Matt is a fairly interactive commentator.
You're pretty imprecise at 17:20. It's not just that the Always-Cheats are against the Copycats who are stronger than them, it's mainly that they are up against too many of their own character, and they get absolutely nothing from each other (While also not getting a lot from the Copycat).
As much as this game is informational, there is one tiny but glaring issue; Humans are unpredictable. Humans more often times than not have theor own self interests in mind, which can vary from person to person. some people are generous, others are greedy. some cooperate, others compete. you can't easily tell what a persons intentions are at a glance, and there are people who use that to their advantage. to REALLY knock the message down the park, i have a simple solution; Make the game an online game. you and someone else on the internet play the game of trust and study how people behave and react. you could probably add so many factors into it (players receive titles for their actions and playstyles like "cheater", "detective", "copycat" and so on, have chat systems for communication during rounds, or thousands of other things in the game) to see how they can influence people. thats ny idea, anyway
Amazing video Matt! These thought experiments amazingly interesting and I still just can't believe how you practically summed up my thoughts on politics at the end. Glad to see you having genuine fun and interest in your content. Keep up the great work! PS: If you think about it TH-cam is Non-zero sum game. You build a relationship with subscribers, we both win when you make good content and like your videos, and hopefully we all communicate well.
Emery W. well that's not true. Keep in mind monetization. Matt cant make whatever content he wants because if he does, there's a chance he gets no money. No money means no videos. No videos means you get nothing and have nothing to give to. So if you were to remove the pay check from TH-cam, Matt and 90% of the popular youtubers wouldn't be here. Yes some youtubers actually like making videos but if they have nothing to gain then they don't have a reason to be here. Do you really think computers are expensive? Do you really think 800$ worth of "needed" equipment is actually needed? It's not. None of it is. So in a way, many youtubers are the "Always Cheat" in this game of youtube, many youtubers do charity things but no one ever stops to think that those people aren't giving much to the charity from their own pockets, and they also get double, possibly even triple or quadruple the amount because of the views. They gain and gain and gain but give nothing back to anyone. And no giving videos doesn't count. Making videos is fun and in most cases if not all cases they're having fun with every video they make. They aren't losing anything. It's such a simple concept if you open your eyes and realize not everyone is as genuine as they say or even think. Matt might love making videos, but if the pay checks stop coming there's an extremely high chance he'll stop uploading until eventually he's inactive for months then eventually years. Do you think Beyoncé gives anything back to anyone? Pewdiepie is loaded, does he actually give back a fair share of the free money he gets? No. He doesn't. 5% isn't a good enough percentage to justify getting tons of money just for sitting in front of a camera for an hour and barely giving anything. Cowbelly for example gives money from his own pockets PLUS almost all the money that gets donated. He doesn't even have a green screen, no sound or lighting equipment and a "ok" computer that honestly would have frame issues running most pc games. Bringing people together for a good cause is great and all but it doesn't mean anything if you're sitting back and letting everyone else boost your image when you're pretty much a soft core grinch. Actions speak louder than words, dyed hair isn't one of those actions. Coloring your hair is a luxury. No one ever realizes how selfish they are until it's bluntly smashed into their face.
Zed Miasma wow, did you really take ur time writing all that time saying something that just proves human nature. If u were that successful u wouldn't give away all of it either. Besides if all those famous people (that yes indeed made money from it) hadn't done it the money would never have gone to charity and probably to a cheeseburger or something.
Wow this game is inspirational and educational, it's really making me think about things in a new light I'm going to try to act more like a copykitten when I usually am a copycat
Same, except I act like Grudger with the sort of people who are: 1) Super Trendy 2) Use profanity 3) Predominately hate me (for some reason) 4)Judge things by how old they are ("My fav song is Viva la vida!" "Ewwwwwww it sux" "Why?" "....cause it's old, obviously?")
for me, this reaffirmed what i already believe. people make mistakes, I've certainly made plenty, so I just assume best intent. I assume their intentions are good, until I can no longer justify that assumption logically (like the two mistakes in a row thing copykittens do) it's nice to see normal people taking the same thing to heart though. I had to learn it through a hard life, being abused, and making the mistake of abusing others when i was in a bad situation, it was the mistakes, and abuse of others that allowed me to shed my naivete, and my own mistakes, as bad as they were, to realize that people make mistakes, and even those with good intentions, can do bad things. I don't know if those lessons can be fully absorbed by simply paying attention to this game, but it would certainly be nice if others didn't have to go through the hell I did, to learn to be a copykitten.
Thanks Matt for playing this game now that I see what's happening I can apologize to a person that used to be my best friend but because of the mistake we aren't friends anymore so thank you
This right here is why I am (basicaly) a Copykitten ;) Just keep it in mind that we are only human, and mistakes are common (sadly), so you should be a bit thoughtfull about it, like for example be a bit more forgiving, or in this case, a Copykitten ;)
Well *puts light blue hat* I will trust Matt first time maybe he had bad day or something happened but if he fails second time in row then there will be trouble.
so i saw one of your videos on the side of the screen and my computer screen is small enough that the title said "i broke everything on earth so i went to SPAC..." and i laughed so hard lmao.
@TheCzheng sorry to say it but always cheating won't get you very far people are not stupid soon you would just get caught however some people learn to detect when someone's lying or not and once they find out the truth no one will ever trust you so by the end of it cheaters will just end up in the dumps with no body but themselves.
@TheCzheng whatever bro you can be a cheat and I'll be a copykitten let's see who gets further in life curse I sure as hell wouldn't want to be on my own
In war you fight against each other and grow closer because you fight the same people if they haven't been killed and find outs things like there strengths and weaknesses and who there loved ones are almost as if your best friends
If you communicate with your ennemies, which was common because soldiers were commons peoples in ww1 ww2... seing how modern commons soldiers are trained it is a lot less common nowadays.
Man, this would be so much deeper to me if it weren't 2:30 a.m. and I weren't sleep deprived. I am going to need to watch this when I can better grasp it. I really love things like this, because it helps people to understand other people.
It makes sense though, because I couldn't bring myself to kill someone I just spent Christmas with. Granted, I couldn't bring myself to kill _anyone_ , but that's besides the point.
+FendronP Studies have proven the brain processes swear words in a separate part of the brain than other words(which is why those with Tourettes sometimes have problems with swearing while their regular speech is affected) - this, logically, means swear words _do_ affect people differently than other words. Plus - it's an odd form of cynism and self-control - we set these "principles" by defining these words that are "bad' and "different" than "regular" words - but still we break those principles and swear anyway. We teach children not to swear - then we do it anyway. Why? Why do we not _practice_ the self-control that we teach, and continue to teach, to younger people? Strong principles can develop stronger character in a person. Sensitivity to certain subjects is a _good_ trait to have.
There was one person that the game didn’t mention; the cold heart. This kind of person is what one of my best friends are, they are a person who doesn’t trust anybody, but after a long while will soon warm up to them and become a kind of advanced version of the copykitten. She understands mistakes, but if there’s way to many in a short period of time she will begin to resent the person. Close friends she is an always cooperate, but knows when to hold back and will begin to resent people close to her, so in a way she’s a mix of everything besides random and always cheat.
Someone:Sends out a meme All the copycats: send out memes Oh so that's why we're doomed. Totally didn't notice that this video was a couple of months old ...
Could you guys just have constructive comments? This is a video where opinions and communication would be fun to read, so please, just type something that's not spam.
Trust, the thing I’ve been trying to gain back from my family for a long time Don’t be like me people, don’t lie at minimum 5 times a day during all your childhood and 4/5 of your teenage years Not even my teachers trusted me, which caused me to get in trouble for BEING bullied because they thought I was lying about it and that I was the bully I regularly cheated whenever possible, i stole, i attacked people, and yes I was a bully but I was my bully’s bully, I always gained at other people’s expense Karma is a bitch people
I KNEW it was made by Nicky Case. He always ends up making games like this and it’s amazing how he takes real world situations and uses it to influence his games. He has to be my favorite game producer/developer.
I'm only at 5:24 so this info may yet come up in this one, but there was a competition to make a program that would be the most effective in this coin game. The competition got a lot of contestants, some programs being very elaborate using complicated calculations, grudge mechanics, analysing previous moves and such. But in the end the winner was also one of the most simple programs. All the program did was start the first move with cooperate and then copy the other player's previous move. So if the other player cheats at the first move, the program would cheat on the second move. If the other player cooperates on second move, the program would cooperate on third move. No grudge, no ill feelings. Simply copying the previous move by the other player. And that turned out to be the most effective method.
Matt I absolutely LOVE these types of games and it really is kinda like the real world also does this remind anybody else of we are what we behold or something like that just keep up the awesome work and you will get good things kinda like Karma do unto others as you would like to done unto you
...and this game is made possible by *WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR* !!!! this game theory would have never develop if it weren't for World War I. WAR IS GOOOOOD!
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." The game actually used that quote incorrectly. The copycats did not use that logic. The always cooperate used that logic. They always treated you good because they would want others to treat them good. The copycats approach would rather be something like. "Approach others nicely. Treat others like they treat you." Start by cooperating but after that, if they cheat you, cheat them. If they cooperate, keep cooperating.
@@davidbarroso1960 yeah, i agree here. if i fucked someone over, id understand and even expect to be fucked over in return. if someone fucked me over, yeah, id return the favor.
The first game scenario reminds me of the old saying you fool me once, you fool me twice... Then there's no fooling me a third time. Letting someone betray your trust after a second chance is allowing that behavior to form in the way they treat you. So setting a boundary is good for both yours and their health.
I Like Sleep no. Game theory is an actual field of study, shown in this game. MatPat named his channel Game Theory because he wanted a clever name to show that he was doing theories about games to the simpleminded people.
11:41 reminds me of that one scene I think that was in Matrix where everyone had their gun pointed at someone and if one person were to fire, everyone in the room would die.
in sandbox mode put 1 copycat 1copycitten 1 always cheat 1 grudger 1 detective 1 randomizer 1 simpleton and 28 cooperators than set all rules at max value... once in a while cooperators will win 0_0 EDIT: in fact every time
Class: ??? Reverses the effect of all other classes, so it can go the complete opposite (cheat becomes cooperating, and cooperation becomes cheat). After a random (3-6) rounds they will become copycats This is mostly to ruin classes with other classes besides themselves, just devastating others... copycat angers many others.. etc
in a perfect world, be a copycat. In a ruthless works of cheaters, be a cheater In an imperfect world, be a copykitten In an imperfect word of altruists, be a simpleton
It's like texting "lol". It could be a genuine "oh, that was funny", or it could be a "I know you said something, but I don't really care all too much". Sometimes you can tell, but other times, it's impossible to, so you can't always trust that it's the former.

Predators, or pack hunters
The ai works like this:
Predator, or P chooses steal first, if the other player, or O chooses cooperate P locks in steal and will always steal for the rest of the rounds with that O.

Here is why predators work like this, they are pack hunters but are aggressive against all other teams, they will start by stealing and if the other starts with coop they can’t be a predator and are instead the enemy to be hunted and the predator locks in steal like always steal does.
If you choose steal first round you are either an always steal or a predator ally, so he cooperates to check if you are good or bad, if you steal again you’re an always steal and he locks in steal to fight you. If you choose cooperate the second round and steal for the first round you’ve proven that you’re an allied predator and both players cooperate.
This ai does not lock in always cooperate because real players can steal later and prove to be an enemy and not a fellow predator.

For Detective, after the 4th round, if the player has not cheated the detective will keep cheating.
That'd never happen against another detective, as they would both cheat once. This results in them cooperating. If one of them were to cheat, the other would copycat them, preventing as much cooperation.
For predators to cooperate, both must cheat in the first round and cooperate in the second. After that, it goes on unless one of them cheats.
It seems like Predators are a better-accustomed, stronger version of Detectives.
Anyhow, now you know the scores of Predators to the original 5 opponents.
Bob Johnson there should also be a version of the grudger that eventually forgives and goes back to cooperating
Bob Johnson so predators are like aggressive copycats; they win if they are with each other
Man you thought hard about this you should go ask the developers about this they may make a second game or update this game

Who tf disliked this video? This is a life lesson for crying out loud! Thanks Matt for playing this philosophical game and help teach us new and important things!
its called a dislike bot
Dude please don't complain about dislikes. It's just normal haters. It's really self explanatory.
Its dem dislike bots man. From the haters.
GamingMonster, they are probs like, I DONT WANA LEARN MATT!!! DISLIKE BITCH. I WANT GAMES, GAMES GAME GAMES. those are dislikers on life lesson utube vids
GamingMonster he should play more games like this it was fun and cool to watch i liked it and it taught a leason
Kai Blahnik if you understood it enough both of them crosses.
I was thinking it was by him because of the art style of this...I KNEW ITTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111

RealMartialNova No they aren't, they use any pronouns and purposely made their name gender neutral. The game is about them coming out as bisexual.

16:46 Seeing all cheat dominating and the pitiful numbers generated by cheating each other, made me think of the dysfunctioning regions in the world.
🤨
THAT WOULD BE AMAZING 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not reading all this
dog why not you lazy fuck.
i want an actual multiplayer version of this where you can play with your friends and see if you can trust them.
Emery W. How is this Comment not Top Comment or Pinned yet?
Zed Miasma wow, did you really take ur time writing all that time saying something that just proves human nature. If u were that successful u wouldn't give away all of it either. Besides if all those famous people (that yes indeed made money from it) hadn't done it the money would never have gone to charity and probably to a cheeseburger or something.
Hejdet Ärjag I would actually. And I'm a fast typer, didn't take long

But... he wasn't even the one who is /teaching/ this, it's the game developer?

11:39 in fact they did play football (not American if you're American it would be soccer)
Yes being from England I learned about it
Not what they used for the ball
Wow this game is inspirational and educational, it's really making me think about things in a new light I'm going to try to act more like a copykitten when I usually am a copycat
Same, except I act like Grudger with the sort of people who are:
1) Super Trendy
2) Use profanity
3) Predominately hate me (for some reason)
4)Judge things by how old they are ("My fav song is Viva la vida!" "Ewwwwwww it sux" "Why?" "....cause it's old, obviously?")
for me, this reaffirmed what i already believe. people make mistakes, I've certainly made plenty, so I just assume best intent. I don't know if those lessons can be fully absorbed by simply paying attention to this game, but it would certainly be nice if others didn't have to go through the hell I did, to learn to be a copykitten.
im a random
Hi
Copykitten here too
Thanks Matt for playing this game now that I see what's happening I can apologize to a person that used to be my best friend but because of the mistake we aren't friends anymore so thank you
Please like the comment so Matt can see my thanks
Please play more of these kind of games I like it when games open my eyes
You're welcome!
SO I GUSS YOU COPYCAT not kitten
This right here is why I am (basicaly) a Copykitten ;)
Just keep it in mind that we are only human, and mistakes are common (sadly), so you should be a bit thoughtfull about it, like for example be a bit more forgiving, or in this case, a Copykitten ;)
This game actually changed my perspective on life, thanks Matt.
Look at trust in it's natural habit. It has evolved in many ways. It has left some country in peaces. But some still need to achieve a pet of trust.

BUT THATS JUST A THEORY!
Okay TH-cam, I watched it. You can stop now.
The thing with the truce is true btw. I live in Germany and we learned about it in history class.
so i saw one of your videos on the side of the screen and my computer screen is small enough that the title said "i broke everything on earth so i went to SPAC..." and i laughed so hard lmao.
What if I don't even trust myself?
You might be more inclined to do the opposite of what you actually instinctively want to do.
@those are certainly all words c':
Isn't someone trying to catch you
yhen you coin flip
Omg this guy named TheLuckyBallofPoop keeps copying me is seriously dont trust him
Omg this guy named TheLuckyBallofPoop keeps copying me is seriously dont trust him
That was so cool. It's really opened my eyes about trust and mistakes.
Agreed!
i was once a *Always Cooperate* But because i lost alots of thing i became a *CopyKitten* though i wont become worse then that
Same
Than, not then.
@TheCzheng sorry to say it but always cheating won't get you very far people are not stupid soon you would just get caught however some people learn to detect when someone's lying or not and once they find out the truth no one will ever trust you so by the end of it cheaters will just end up in the dumps with no body but themselves.
@TheCzheng whatever bro you can be a cheat and I'll be a copykitten let's see who gets further in life curse I sure as hell wouldn't want to be on my own
@@Mysteriofreeflying "always lying wont work"
Dude do you live under a rock? Everyone nowadays lies constantly.
I LOVE THIS GAME! PLEASE DO MORE GAMES LIKE THESE!
Man, this would be so much deeper to me if it weren't 2:30 a.m. and I weren't sleep deprived. I am going to need to watch this when I can better grasp it. I really love things like this, because it helps people to understand other people.
i love these type of games , food for thought
On the subject of the Christmas war story, the next day was incredibly awkward and resulted in both armies being swapped out of the battle.
JOSEPH WODARCZYK :( and THAT'S how you foster the evolution of distrust, alright
It makes sense though, because I couldn't bring myself to kill someone I just spent Christmas with. Granted, I couldn't bring myself to kill _anyone_ , but that's besides the point.
The first part was adorable because like
its just.. TRUST.
Trust the entire way.
Huh, felt like 10 mins. Time flies when you're having a good time!
This is by far the most educating video Matt did and surprisingly, he didnt swear!!! WOW
+FendronP
Studies have proven the brain processes swear words in a separate part of the brain than other words(which is why those with Tourettes sometimes have problems with swearing while their regular speech is affected) - this, logically, means swear words _do_ affect people differently than other words.
Its like the saying "keep your friends close and your enemies closer"
You know what your enemies do but not what your friends will do
I think the reason for the Christmas game was because the soldiers didn't actually want to kill each other, their governments did.
i have been searching for this game for a year, just to play it again
There was one person that the game didn’t mention; the cold heart. This kind of person is what one of my best friends are, they are a person who doesn’t trust anybody, but after a long while will soon warm up to them and become a kind of advanced version of the copykitten. She understands mistakes, but if there’s way to many in a short period of time she will begin to resent the person. Close friends she is an always cooperate, but knows when to hold back and will begin to resent people close to her, so in a way she’s a mix of everything besides random and always cheat.
Someone:Sends out a meme
All the copycats: send out memes
Oh so that's why we're doomed.
Totally didn't notice that this video was a couple of months old ...
Same. I only just come across this
Could you guys just have constructive comments? This is a video where opinions and communication would be fun to read, so please, just type something that's not spam.
Everything is spam
23:20 lol he didn't change it from 2 to 1, I don't think I ever noticed that when previously watching.
The thumbnail is super adorable :D
Actually this is super cool video, made me think alot! You should do more vids like this! Like so Matt can see!
You put alot check know your meme.com and search alot.
My English teacher made us play this game to learn about trust. Thank your Mr. Wheeler, you are the best.
Trust, the thing I’ve been trying to gain back from my family for a long time
Don’t be like me people, don’t lie at minimum 5 times a day during all your childhood and 4/5 of your teenage years
Not even my teachers trusted me, which caused me to get in trouble for BEING bullied because they thought I was lying about it and that I was the bully
I regularly cheated whenever possible, i stole, i attacked people, and yes I was a bully but I was my bully’s bully, I always gained at other people’s expense
Karma is a bitch people
“Isn’t making friends with your enemies defeating them?” -???
Yes.

I KNEW it was made by Nicky Case. He always ends up making games like this and it’s amazing how he takes real world situations and uses it to influence his games. He has to be my favorite game producer/developer.

I'm Between Grudger and Copycat.
Who knew people with cute hats, a classic and amazing WW1 story, M A T H, this website/ game, and Mattshea could teach something so cool and... yeah

“when they play with eachother, they do okay”
This and the madness of crowds are my favourite "go to" games to relax, the music and artwork are quite soothing! Great to find it on TH-cam :)
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
The game actually used that quote incorrectly. The copycats did not use that logic. The always cooperate used that logic. They always treated you good because they would want others to treat them good. The copycats approach would rather be something like.
"Approach others nicely. Treat others like they treat you."
Start by cooperating but after that, if they cheat you, cheat them. If they cooperate, keep cooperating.
If I fucked someone over, I would want them to cheat me back. So therefore as a copycat, I would be doing unto others as I would have them do unto me.
@@davidbarroso1960 yeah, i agree here. if i fucked someone over, id understand and even expect to be fucked over in return. if someone fucked me over, yeah, id return the favor.
i am from brazil and i was searching for a good chanel and them i find that one, its so gooooooood
The first game scenario reminds me of the old saying you fool me once, you fool me twice... Then there's no fooling me a third time. Letting someone betray your trust after a second chance is allowing that behavior to form in the way they treat you. So setting a boundary is good for both yours and their health.
But remember
THAT'S JUST A THEORY, A SOCIAL THEORY
Oof
Is this game why MatPat called his youtube channel Game Theory? WAS IT ALL A PUN??
It's not just a theory it's a GAME THEROY

probably not
I Like Sleep no. Game theory is an actual field of study, shown in this game. MatPat named his channel Game Theory because he wanted a clever name to show that he was doing theories about games to the simpleminded people.

Go thank Nicky Case!! What a genius, amirite?
Lol, I got 49 "which is perfect! Congrats you have too much time on your hands. "
Class: ???
Reverses the effect of all other classes, so it can go the complete opposite (cheat becomes cooperating, and cooperation becomes cheat). After a random (3-6) rounds they will become copycats
This is mostly to ruin classes with other classes besides themselves, just devastating others... copycat angers many others.. etc
Sounds cool but it makes no sense in real life.
