My biggest fear now is losing my dad because I need him. he's my rock. I know your pain I lost my dad to leukemia he was 49 when he passed away I was 11 when he died he’s been gone for 9 years. My dad never made it to his bone marrow transplant we had plane tickets booked for Maryland and he got a fever and couldn’t go and then it went down hill from there. My mom was a lot like this. She had never cared that the cancer was affecting her, she only cared how we were taking it as she told us "sorry for all this" and we would tell her "don't be sorry". Before it all she was the brightest soul and watching her fade away was the hardest thing i've ever experienced , I cant imagine how scared she must have been but she never once complained and never showed her pain. I miss her very much but i am so happy she isn't in that toxic body anymore. She deserved so much more than this world had to offer.

I just found your channel and I completely understand how you're feeling. I lost my mother in August 2020 and I'm just now starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Last year was such a difficult year for me and my siblings. My mom was such a strong, loving and smart woman. I miss her terribly and I felt so lost the 1st year without her. I wanted to think you for having the courage to make this video and sharing your hurt to help others, I like the way you said the time when your mom came home from icu was a gift my mom had three months at home after being in the icu I to thought when she went back to the icu after those three months she was going to be fine since she had already came home before, she was not fine though. I like how you look at that time home as a Gift from our Lord I will share in that thought process as I try to process that my mom is now home with Jesus💕

i love you so much anna and i knew your mom passed but i never brought myself to watch this video because i knew i would cry so hard bc my mom is my best friend and i can’t imagine losing her. i know how you feel because my step dad who lived with me and raised me since i was 3 years old had a massive stroke suddenly and he passed within two weeks from it after being in a coma when i was only 14. my nanny passed when i was 12 and my mom sister and i always felt so guilty that we didn’t call her every day she was in the hospital but anna do not put that on yourself your momma knows how much you love her and how hard it was to call her when she was coming out of sedation. love you anna
Anna, I am very sorry for this huge loss. I don't know what it's like to lose my mom. I did lose my fiance going on 5 years ago this coming February. We had a three-month-old daughter together at the time. The only thing I know is that time has to pass by for things to get easier. I know it's not the same type of loss you are feeling. Oh My! I am sorry. I lost my mom when I was 22. You are right, it feels very surreal and holidays or birthdays are the worst. I remember just looking at her handwriting on a past card or letter would bring on the tears. You are right, it always will hurt but you do learn how to adapt and take it one day at a time. My mom AND Dad had pancreatic cancer but I was 5 when he died so I don't really remember it. I do recall it gave me a sense of greater empathy about everything in my life. I will pray for you and you Dad and brother. Hug each other tight! When I became a Mom myself I incorporated new traditions to honor my parents so my kids would feel a sense of connection. We travel to Athens, Ga every Fall or Winter and decorate their grave sites and pray together. Sending you big hugs!!

I know your pain I lost my dad to leukemia he was 49 when he passed away I was 11 when he died he’s been gone for 9 years. My dad never made it to his bone marrow transplant we had plane tickets booked for Maryland and he got a fever and couldn’t go and then it went down hill from there. My mom was a lot like this. She had never cared that the cancer was affecting her, she only cared how we were taking it as she told us "sorry for all this" and we would tell her "don't be sorry".
Before it all she was the brightest soul and watching her fade away was the hardest thing i've ever experienced , I cant imagine how scared she must have been but she never once complained and never showed her pain. I miss her very much but i am so happy she isn't in that toxic body anymore. She deserved so much more than this world had to offer.
Just lost my Mama yesterday too -- Even if you didnt say anything and just stared at the camera, I would know. She was my everything -- no one could compare to Mama -- and I cant tell you how much comfort your video gives me now -- I could keep listening to it over and over and over -- but I won't, I'll go try to give this samw support to my brothers & dad . I just found your channel and I completely understand how you're feeling. I lost my mother in August 2020 and I'm just now starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Last year was such a difficult year for me and my siblings. My mom was such a strong, loving and smart woman. I miss her terribly and I felt so lost the 1st year without her. I'm thankful for her love, her strength and tenderness. She was the best and I'm so blessed to have had her as my mom. I pray that you always feel blessed and loved when you think of your mom. I wanted to think you for having the courage to make this video and sharing your hurt to help others, I like the way you said the time when your mom came home from icu was a gift my mom had three months at home after being in the icu I to thought when she went back to the icu after those three months she was going to be fine since she had already came home before, she was not fine though.
I like how you look at that time home as a Gift from our Lord I will share in that thought process as I try to process that my mom is now home with Jesus💕

You are so incredibly strong. I can't even imagine through how much pain you and your family have to go. Your mum sounded like the sweetest person ever. The world needs more people like her and God took the best of them to Him, because He couldn't stand the distance anymore. I just have the picture in my mind, how she sits on a cloud, is watching you and is yelling stuff like "You go, girl!" and God is sitting next to her and she is like the proudest mum ever and is like "Those are my kids. I raised them to be that kind, beautiful, intelligent, sweet people they are right now". i love you so much anna and i knew your mom passed but i never brought myself to watch this video because i knew i would cry so hard bc my mom is my best friend and i can’t imagine losing her. i know how you feel because my step dad who lived with me and raised me since i was 3 years old had a massive stroke suddenly and he passed within two weeks from it after being in a coma when i was only 14. my nanny passed when i was 12 and my mom sister and i always felt so guilty that we didn’t call her every day she was in the hospital but anna do not put that on yourself your momma knows how much you love her and how hard it was to call her when she was coming out of sedation. love you anna
Anna, I am very sorry for this huge loss. I don't know what it's like to lose my mom. I did lose my fiance going on 5 years ago this coming February. We had a three-month-old daughter together at the time. The only thing I know is that time has to pass by for things to get easier. I know it's not the same type of loss you are feeling. I would always hate when people would say he's in a better place.... because you want them here. Please stay strong and stay positive, you're a beautiful girl with a bright future ahead of you. Yup. Lost my dad to kidney failure and a heart attack. Seeing your loved one on a ventilator for the last time is horrible. My dad couldn't even tell me happy birthday because he was so sick. I knew something was up too. Sorry for your loss.

I’ve worked as a hospice nurse and stories like this touch my heart because I always think of the families of patients. I just watched your Vlog when you gave her the chat book and you could tell how close you all are and how she said “ the best gift ever”. Made me smile. Sending prayers to you thru this nursing journey. Take your time to feel and process these moments over time. Never be afraid to talk about this moment or cry. Oh My! I am sorry. I lost my mom when I was 22. You are right, it feels very surreal and holidays or birthdays are the worst. I remember just looking at her handwriting on a past card or letter would bring on the tears. You are right, it always will hurt but you do learn how to adapt and take it one day at a time. My mom AND Dad had pancreatic cancer but I was 5 when he died so I don't really remember it. I do recall it gave me a sense of greater empathy about everything in my life. I will pray for you and you Dad and brother. Hug each other tight!
When I became a Mom myself I incorporated new traditions to honor my parents so my kids would feel a sense of connection. We travel to Athens, Ga every Fall or Winter and decorate their grave sites and pray together. Sending you big hugs!!
