- hi guys, i’m sorry this is so late at night. I was just nervous to post since this is the most raw i’ve ever been. but I was told that if sharing my story helps with even one person, then it’s worth it. I want to be real with you guys so here it is, me showing my thoughts and emotions and how i’m trying to cope I love y’all and can’t thank you enough for the support, especially now.

My mom passed away this morning it hurts so much and it was unexpected my mentality was like mom was made iron I knew she had a weak body but I still thought I had alot of years left with her right now I'm torn apart

anna, i lost my dad 9 years ago tomorrow to liver cancer. it gets easier to grieve but that feeling will never go away. i’m 21 and to hear your story helps me find comfort in such a terrible situation. we are strong. we are fighters. and although neither of us know each other, we’ll get through this together❤️
I lost my dad to lymphoma cancer when I was in elementary and I’ll be graduating college next year. I still remember him everyday. It doesn’t get easier, you just learn to adapt to their absence. “God wouldn’t put you through something hard in your life if he thought you weren’t strong enough to get through it.” ♥️

I lost my dad when I was 7 so Ik how u feel but he was rlly crappy and a horrible dad. I’m happy u got to have good memories with her and it rlly strong♥️♥️
I lost my mom suddenly in January 2019 so I understand how you feel. it’s been a year and a half and it still feels as raw as it did when I first found out she died. you’re so strong.
I lost my mom to cancer when I was 19 & she was sick for a year and a half. Our stories are strangely so similar. I literally felt like I was listening to myself talk.

I lost my mom when I was 10 years old to breast cancer the last few weeks were the hardest and she wasn’t able to speak. It’s been 7 years now and it gets better and makes you want to live your life for them ❤️❤️ So sorry this had to happen to you ❤️❤️

You are so incredibly strong. I can't even imagine through how much pain you and your family have to go. Your mum sounded like the sweetest person ever. The world needs more people like her and God took the best of them to Him, because He couldn't stand the distance anymore. I just have the picture in my mind, how she sits on a cloud, is watching you and is yelling stuff like "You go, girl!" and God is sitting next to her and she is like the proudest mum ever and is like "Those are my kids. I raised them to be that kind, beautiful, intelligent, sweet people they are right now". I'm praying for you and your family and I'm so glad, you have that emotional support from your friends and family. Everyone copes different with such a loss. Be like your mum and give a sh*t about what anyone else is thinking. You decide, whose opinions matter to you. Only you!
