Truly a once in a lifetime detail! I had a blast learning about this car and the documentation that came with it - it was incredible. Hard to believe it sold for only $3,900! Hope you all have a great weekend! Don’t forget to hit the thumbs up button! 👍🏻
What an awesome detail this was for you. Could we say 'historic'? Did you get to drive it, or at least ride in it? When I was young, my mom always said "You don't need an expensive car. They go down the same streets as every car does". So true. Potholes. Idiot drivers. etc. 😒
I see these on fb marketplace occasionally. maybe not this exact silver shadow model, but they have similar body styles and are usually under $10k here in Atlanta
Disagree. The mats are lambswool, there are more adequat procedures to clean them. Besides that, all mats and carpets are edged with leather. Lots of water is not approriate for cleaning.
Oh my GOSH!!! A Silver Shadow ROLLER!!! 😱😱😱💜💜💜 That is the penultimate car to detail imo. Vintage awesomeness right there. And you had it looking like it rolled off the showroom floor!!!!😍😍😍
Such amazing detail and car. I hope you do more vintage and rare car details, I really like watching and learning more about them. Love this one specially Compared to the other details you done, this has to be one of the most well cared ones here. Thank you for giving the opportunity of seeing this amazing car and the proccess of detailing. Love the other videos too where you make pure filth into brand new too. Been watching your channel for maybe 1 year now since my old account, keep up the amazing videos, Mitch!!
So many years ago I got to drive a Rolls Royce. My husband worked for the company. It was Heaven. I found myself going 95 mph and it felt like I was going about 45. No bumps or feel of the road, just smooth sailing. It is a memory I'll keep with me forever. Never could afford one, but it was a fun ride. You did a wonderful job on this classic.
Dude! What an amazing and beautiful detail. I bet you were blown away when you got asked to do that. I know as a fellow detailer I would have been. To see a Rolls Royce in person would be a dream come true for me little own getting to detail one. Truly amazing.
Man, this is absolutely one of my favorite videos you've done! What great work on such a legendary piece of history! I hope this brings more rarities your way!!! Great job, as always. Keep up the GREAT work!!!
Wow, this was such a great video. The carpet was joy to watch. ALL the history of this car was priceless. This work of art needs to be in a museum! I would say great work. However, this was a vacation for you!❤❤❤
wow, incredible work mate! The car is in amazing condition and the tidy up you gave it made it look even better! Love your work as always!! Big fan from Sydney, Australia here!
The best episode yet - wow, what a beautiful car. Shame we didn’t see the engine, but WOW and the history was interesting. As a kid in the UK in the 70’s and going to football matches, I seen a few of these that must have been owned by the Directors of the clubs - so teams like Manchester United, Liverpool etc. when they drove past, the engine had this lovely low growl, subtle, but I’ll never forget get that noise
A very beautiful vehicle their Mitch, and you have done a marvellous job on her, well done, so proud of you Mitch for taking very good care of her, especially by being a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow MkII, from NSW,Australia 👍😎👍🇦🇺
Hey Mitch are you sure that they have got the price right for that Silver Shadow Mk II, as in $3,900 (CAN), are sure that it was mean't to read $390,000 (CAN) for that Silver Shadow MK II ?.👍😎👍, from NSW,Australia, because i'll tell you what, if the price of that Silver shadow Mk II was $3,900 (CAN) for that vehicle, that was unbeleivable especially for a vehicle of that caliber. 👍😎👍🌟🇦🇺🇨🇦
Man this was a bit different from some of the decrepit examples that have been detailed on the channel over the years! Awesome car and I hope the owner keeps coming back regularly to get you to detail it. You are the right guy for the job
WOW!! That was fantastic...what a great looking car. It seems it would be worth a whole lot more $$$. Loved the sheep skin floor mats - how luxurious and plush. Wish I could've seen the engine bay too. I'm sure that was a pleasure to clean from start to finish. So glad you posted this one. Thanks for the treat.
I was allowed to test drive a 74 30 years ago. It was amazing yet like taking your living room sofa out on the road! When I got in the first thing I noticed the quality of the coach build. It had only sun/heat damage on the mahogany on the upper interior door panels. ❤
Mitch, this Rolls-Royce 2 was the car of the stars. However, I've been looking at them, and they go for 17,000. It's not too bad. I love the older vehicles. You knew what make and model they were.
What a nice Rolls. The pinstripe is painted by hand and the grille also used to be made by hand and signed on the inside. The steering wheel is so thin as to make it easy for the gloved hands of the chauffeur to drive.
1:35 - I am *definitely* enjoying this once-in-a-lifetime-car and absolutely do not care that its exterior is so clean relative to what you usually work on!
Thanks for your appreciation of my old Rolls Royce. It never was that dirty when I owned it. You dis i superb job of detailing this one, and it has some DETAILS.I do not know who bought it for 5000 or 3500. It left my garage for 15000.00. Great video
I'm proud of you and you're company it take a good trust on you for the owner to bring and leave the RR with the owner gone for the detailing So be proud of your work you deserved it!
New person to your channel- I have seen a few videos now and have noticed that you (don't show that you) wipe the wipers-- I have noticed that the rubber some times has a residue that can keep the windshield from being as clean as it could be. Nice channel, will watch some more videos as your attention to detail is satisfying to watch.
Wow Mitch this was the best one yet you rubbing elbows with the hoi polloi lol. I love the colors they match perfectly and its nice to get a car out of ordinary. Shall we genuflect before Mitch the King of Detailing. I knew you had this one all along so whats next for DG keep up the good work and see you in the next video🤔🕵😉
I couldn’t think of a nicer young man than you Mitch to detail a classic our heritage we have lost so much of our heritage over the years but lovely to see the old girl in Canada 🇨🇦 thank you a great job as always 🇬🇧🏴🌹
I bought you some of your products. I’ve got all the tools and I did my first 5 Golf Carts and I got one friend that asked me to do the Porsche Cayenne four-door and everybody was pretty happy with it. I started watching you and I thought I should start doing Golf Cart in my area and I want to do furniture so thanks for encouraging me just by doing your making a little extra money in my old age.
Now that was too sweet. I knew about one in Jacksonville, but when you turned it off, the hood ornament and the radio antenna both retracted into the car.😊 So glad she was taken care of.😂
It was a blast to watch especially as it may well have been made in my hometown here in the uk (the factory is still here ,but now its Bentley) .that is such a beautiful car and it looked stunning after your detailing .
Just found this video. My husband was a professional mechanic for almost 50 years. About 10 yrs ago, he was looking at a RR in Calgary, thought it would be cool to own. Once he went through it with a fine-tooth comb, he had second thoughts. Called one of his brother-in-law’s who’s a car restoration genius. The advice was to run far, run fast. Yes the parts are expensive but there were other issues. One is that they use a mineral oil hydraulic system. Mineral oil attracts water. It’s also difficult to source the volume of auto grade oil required. And as already noted, there are few after market parts. Sourcing OEM can be a challenge, especially for the electric gear shifter.
I didn't realise these were so rare in North America. I grew up around these cars. In the late '80's/early '90's my father had an VIP chauffeur business. We had three of them, notoriously expensive to maintain. i took my driving test in '98 in a 1984 RR Flying Spur with 28k miles on it, because it wasn't a desirable car. I failed the test, excessive speed throughout. :) They were later replaced with Lincoln Town cars and Navigators. Belgium.
What a beautiful car you share with us this time Mitch!!! Rolls Royce has been my favorite car ever!!! It's elegant, distinguished, sober, classic!!! Practically unique!!! I personally thank you for this episode. This is the most beautiful car, for me. Thank you thank you thank you Mitch 👑🙌🏼🙏🏻
Wow Mitch that must’ve been awesome detailing a celebrity vehicle. Funny story there was a high school guy that went to prom with a Washington Commanders Redskins cheerleader to prom in that same car you detailed. Just curious on a scale of 1-10 how was it? You did a sensational job as usual
Truly a once in a lifetime detail! I had a blast learning about this car and the documentation that came with it - it was incredible. Hard to believe it sold for only $3,900!
Hope you all have a great weekend! Don’t forget to hit the thumbs up button! 👍🏻
I will be watching this multiple times since I am fascinated with this car. 💜
I drop my jaw that it sold for $ 3,900 Rolls Royce. Cool, its nice car. 🤔❤
You have a great weekend... as well
Surely you can afford a young trainee editor to increase your productivity and free up your time
What an awesome detail this was for you. Could we say 'historic'? Did you get to drive it, or at least ride in it?
When I was young, my mom always said "You don't need an expensive car. They go down the same streets as every car does". So true. Potholes. Idiot drivers. etc. 😒
I was not expecting this car to have been sold for only $3900! I thought for sure a collector's vehicle, especially in such good condition
That blew my mind too!
I would recommend watching bbc top gear they can explain why
It takes a lot of investment to keep it running. So it is not just the initial cost of ownership, plus this wasnt a desirable model year
I see these on fb marketplace occasionally. maybe not this exact silver shadow model, but they have similar body styles and are usually under $10k here in Atlanta
I would have thought it was worth way more that $4000. Probably is today but still I would love to own it,
I never thought of saying this... but the most satisfying part of detail is floor mats cleaning! Great work...as always!
Disagree. The mats are lambswool, there are more adequat procedures to clean them. Besides that, all mats and carpets are edged with leather. Lots of water is not approriate for cleaning.
Settle down Ace.@@workshop_deluxe2493
We will not see these types of cars for a long time. Once a lifetime to watch. Thank you.
Oh my GOSH!!! A Silver Shadow ROLLER!!! 😱😱😱💜💜💜 That is the penultimate car to detail imo. Vintage awesomeness right there. And you had it looking like it rolled off the showroom floor!!!!😍😍😍
Thank you!
The non-dirty wheels was the biggest trip of all. I think that's the first time it didn't turn to mud with the brush.
those tires are stupidly oversized
@@anotherone-xp9ox every car from the 60s 70s and 80s had them, it's for comfort and traction.
I’m surprised it sold for only $3900??!! That’s a collectors car and I thought it would have sold for more. Great video as always! ❤❤❤
To watch a Beauty being Detailed is such treat ❤
Such amazing detail and car.
I hope you do more vintage and rare car details, I really like watching and learning more about them. Love this one specially
Compared to the other details you done, this has to be one of the most well cared ones here. Thank you for giving the opportunity of seeing this amazing car and the proccess of detailing. Love the other videos too where you make pure filth into brand new too.
Been watching your channel for maybe 1 year now since my old account, keep up the amazing videos, Mitch!!
Great job Mitche, and a super nice car. I was suprised you didn't do anything (or even show) the engine compartment.
I know who is winning the "cleanest car" award this year.
Wow! It's clean beyond measure.... and you did a fantastic job. I can't wait to see what's next on your agenda.
It was a pleasure to see such an amazing car being detailed. Great job as always, Mitch. Have a great weekend.
This was such an awesome detail Mitch. It's nice to seeing rare and special cars that are well taken care of rather than disaster minivans sometimes
Another fantastic video, Mitch. This has to be one of the best ones yet.🚗
What a treat to work on such a head turning car!💕🇮🇲😊
So many years ago I got to drive a Rolls Royce. My husband worked for the company. It was Heaven. I found myself going 95 mph and it felt like I was going about 45. No bumps or feel of the road, just smooth sailing. It is a memory I'll keep with me forever. Never could afford one, but it was a fun ride. You did a wonderful job on this classic.
Wow Mitch, you seem to get all the cool vehicles to detail.Awesome job,and great history
What a stunning car, Mitch. I'd love a Bentley T2 which are even rarer.
Incidentally, were those shaggy mats made from genuine Cookie Monster fur...?
🤣🤣🤣
Not that uncommon in the UK back in the day. These cars were used by a lot of chauffeur companies especially for weddings.
I always smile every time I see your perfection to detail. Maybe it's because I am like that too, that's why I enjoy your channel
What a BEAUTIFUL CAR!!
Never seen one of these up close. This is a treat❤
Another great video and thank you to the owner for bringing it to you
Wow! Would've never thought a classic Rolls Royce would be on the channel. Cool!
Amazing, simply amazing. This is one heck of a survivor. I hope the owner continues to take good care of this.
Stylish and reliable design.
An absolutely stunning car. That's a real treat, glad that owner trusted you with this!
What a great video! My Grandad had a Rolls Royce back in the 80s and also documented his drives like Ron. ❤
What an absolutely gorgeous car. And how amazing that you got to detail it, and a fairly easy job of it, from what it looked like! Thanks for sharing
That’s the coolest car I ever seen nice job Mitch as always.
Thank you for posting this piece of automotive history that I would likely otherwise never get to see. Beautiful vehicle and great detail.
Rolls are so iconic! My favorite is the 56 Silver Wraith ❤❤❤❤
Wow, this was such a great video. The carpet was joy to watch. ALL the history of this car was priceless. This work of art needs to be in a museum! I would say great work. However, this was a vacation for you!❤❤❤
I was very exited to see a car like this in your shop! The end result is stunning!
You and me both!
This was such a cool car to watch being detailed!! Thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend Mitch!! 😊
wow, incredible work mate! The car is in amazing condition and the tidy up you gave it made it look even better! Love your work as always!! Big fan from Sydney, Australia here!
I'm just glad to see the slow-mo side to side wash mit action return. This is a classy episode!
The best episode yet - wow, what a beautiful car. Shame we didn’t see the engine, but WOW and the history was interesting. I wish you were closer. You do such an incredible job. My father passed and I kept his truck and it could do with a full @thedetailgeek cleaning.
Fun video. A Rolls in this good of condition really needs to be on Continentals or Dunlops, don’t you think?
Avon tyres were OE when the T series was launched.
That’s a beautiful car, I’m in love with it, truly a once in a lifetime experience, hope you detail more cars like this ❤
There is no one better to trust with a car like this than Mitch. Excellent job and video.
A very beautiful vehicle their Mitch, and you have done a marvellous job on her, well done, so proud of you Mitch for taking very good care of her, especially by being a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow MkII, from NSW,Australia 👍😎👍🇦🇺

I like your mentality, you are never short cutting. Cool video as always 😎
Such a cool video. Looks absolutely like it’s brand new again.
Man this was a bit different from some of the decrepit examples that have been detailed on the channel over the years! Awesome car and I hope the owner keeps coming back regularly to get you to detail it. You are the right guy for the job
I like so much when you turn the music down and mantain de vacuum sound. Nice touch!
Amazing car, thanks to share!!!
I'll bet that it's a very heavy vehicle. You have really done yourself proud 👏 again . Way to go Mitch
Love those Dallas Cowboys colors on this old Rolls!
Nice to see you cleaning the boot. And the sheepskin mats are lovely
Beautiful job on the detail as always 👏. Beautiful RR
I can wait. Just havin a cocktail watchin you clean cars.
I really enjoyed watching this video especially after learning that the Rolls Royce was first sold at a dealer in my hometown of Palm Springs, CA.
@TheDetailGeek if I owned that car, I would changed white wall tires. Otherwise is a good condition.
Hey Mitch,
WOW😱, This is a beautiful vehicle, nice condition!!!
As Always Amazing!!!♥️💯🔥
BEAUTIFUL!! Great job!!
Wow Mitch how exciting to detail this rolls Royce it looks absolutely beautiful
Love the video today! That’s a cool car. That when cars were built to last. Wish the new cars were built like this. Have a great weekend!
You N E V E R cease to amaze me!..
I legit thank God for your existence... ☺️
Wow what a lovely well looked after rare car! Very very nice!!!!!
I was allowed to test drive a 74 30 years ago. It was amazing yet like taking your living room sofa out on the road! When I got in the first thing I noticed the quality of the coach build. It had only sun/heat damage on the mahogany on the upper interior door panels. ❤
Look at that carpet!!! What a cool car!!
Classic omg and a marvellous outcome in the detail as always Mitch 😎
Talk about ultra rare automobiles. WOW!!! Now that’s classy

Oh my, this has been the best. It was shaken but not stirred. Bravo to have this privilege and you cared for this car with respect. 🎉
Simply beautiful, that's about all you can say. Great job as always 👏
This is the most beautiful vehicle you’ve detailed and you managed to make it look even better. Well done.
What a nice Rolls. The pinstripe is painted by hand and the grille also used to be made by hand and signed on the inside. The steering wheel is so thin as to make it easy for the gloved hands of the chauffeur to drive.

What an stunningly beautiful auto and what a beautiful job you did on this one Mitch. Bravo!
At first glance i thought it was the car from cars 2 which played Queen Elizabeth. I was wrong after i checked 😂😂😂😂 that was phantom 4 😂😂😂😂
Another great job done! Did it have an umbrella inside the door? That was a feature of many Rolls Royce models.
New person to your channel- I have seen a few videos now and have noticed that you (don't show that you) wipe the wipers-- I have noticed that the rubber some times has a residue that can keep the windshield from being as clean as it could be. In South Africa we also called it a boot like the British.😊
Nice Job Mitch
Lot better than the typical GM product

For cleaning the sheepskin, we have found the hair shampoo to be very useful. Shake and fluff frequently during the drying process.
A truly special and spectacular vehicle on your channel this time.
It is not a car, it’s a statement to hand build British engineer of the seventies
Very ingenious the way the floor was designed. Carpet in most cars does not just come out like that.
Beautiful car, and Beautiful work. Awesome
I thank you sir i know that I would never see one and seeing this was truly a blessing.
