      I’d say it’s definitely up there for interior transformation, the exterior is still pretty beat even after being detailed.

      In Texas the best way I found to remove mud off of my frame is to go to this river south of Dallas and it’s perfect for burnouts and it cleans my frame but not everyone is lucky as us Texans

      i think that truck was dirt cheep because it was under water..you can tell by the amount of mud in the rear frame..musta had a boat attached and it fell/reversed into the dock/water...you can tell also by the amount of mud inside the tail lights..

    This truck looks a THOUSAND TIMES BETTER than it did when the guy bought it, not just ten times better. WOW!!! My dad used to own a car yard before he retired and I worked there too sometimes, just cleaning the cars for pocket money. I saw some dirty vehicles but nothing like this truck.     That steel wheel (driver's rear) worries me. All those weights in one spot is either a defective tire (bad casting) or a bent rim. Outstanding job as always!

      Definitely looks to me like they were chasing weights.
      I wonder if they just lacked heavier weights, or if there’s something wrong with the wheel/tire.

      Whoever put that many weights on had NO idea what they were doing. That wheel or tire is junk and needs to be replaced!

      it looks to be a spare and considering you should be driving rarely with it i dont find it to be too much of a problem, couldve been laziness on the tech to not rotate the tire so the light spot of the tire and heavy spot of the wheel meet or vice versa, sometimes you cant put weights on the inside for various reasons and that makes the outer side heavier, sometimes wheels are just garbage, but i think this was a laziness factor to be honest

    I’m not quite halfway through, but you’re vacuuming the carpets and to be honest, just the vacuuming alone is making it 1000 times better

    The one piece of advice I would highly recommend is to watch out when using steam cleaner on door panel speaker covers. The steam could seriously damage the speaker cones, glue separates and creates an issue with speaker.

    Can the steam harm the speakers in the doors or dash? I always get nervous cleaning over the covers because I love my music and good speakers are pretty expensive😂 I love this transformation though!

    I would highly recommend that you use protective eyewear when cleaning! Using those brushes and especially high pressure water jets causes destructive ricochet of particles.

    I wouldn’t entirely recommend steaming the metal mesh on the door panels due to speakers being behind it, you can easily take them out with a flat head screwdriver and they just pop back in

      Electronics are underneath the speaker cone. There are videos of people putting paint in speakers and letting the bass fling it all over the place.
      They will be fine.

    Amazing work there Mitch! Question though, does it not damage the door speakers using the steamer on the grilles like that? Same with the other electronics. I'm curious because I've always been super careful/paranoid around those parts of my cars.

      Yes it does. Maybe not every time and maybe not immediately. But the dirt/mud wasn't removed. It was just liquified and pushed through the door panel to the backside with the steam. With basic/cheap trim removal tools the door panel can be popped off in 2 minutes or less.

    this is one of the 1st videos i came across and was wondering doesnt all the water you used to clean the underside of the car and wheels harm the car in the long run(rust forming from water)?

    Can use use your cleaner on indoor home carpet spots? Also, I think that with your drill brush, you may be able to gently loosen some of that hard caked on stuff on carpets, so it's faster and easier to vacuum before the wet application...just a thought!

    At least it was possible to clean it up. The most completely-used-up pickup I have ever seen was a Chevy, circa 1960, that, by 1970 or so, had rusted through somewhere in every body panel. It belonged to the county trapper. The bed was always filled with the tools of his job.

    just a quick tip, when your going over the seats with the brush and wet vac, you need to move slower, your not gonna be able to suck up all the junk if you go that fast

    I like your hard work, i think you do a good job. Im a former auto detailing owner and im just saying next time something comes in that filthy, take the upholstery out! There is dirt underneath that carpet without a doubt. Id take the headliner out too!

      ​@@clemradio I have met some of the most insane freaks in London Ontario. I had a random dude pull a knife on me. I have been to a lot of places in Ontario and Quebec and had the most issues with insane goofs in Ontario.

From a European pov at least, Canadians do not realize how a copy of the US they are. (I exclude Quebec from Canada here because it’s a completely different context, starting with the language.)

    I used to own an auto detail business some 20 years ago. Still to this day, throughly cleaning a vehicle and making it look better than the day it rolled off the lot, relaxes me beyond belief. I had a stressful day today and your video, beginning to end, took all the stress away as if I was cleaning that truck myself. Awesome work.

    okay, so hear me out. ive been detailing for a couple years now, and one of my favorite transformations are the engine bays. nobody ever seems to focus on them, and they can easily be a selling point. do you do them? if so, any chance you could start putting them in videos? I absolutely love your work, and have been a subscriber for a couple years now. keep up the great work!

    I bought everything in your shop I used it to detail on my cars they turned out beautiful they turned out like they came out of the dealership after looking at the results in them I almost cried in tears of joy

    Moral of the story: have a proper detailer work over your car before you sell it.
    A few hundred bucks of professional work could net you thousands in resale value.
