Julio was a soccer player in his native Spain, got hurt and couldn't play anymore, one day a friend came to visit him at home and heard him sing and convinced him to pursue music and the rest is history..He is one the best selling artists all time, sang in 14 languages, including, English, Spanish, Portuguese , Italian, French and even Japanese and German.... The man is a Legend...and yes, Enrique is one of his kids.
he was the Spanish Elvis. the ladies adore him. like they adore Elvis, Tom Jones, and Cliff Richard. he was a chick magnet like the other 3 guys I mention.
I married a man who was a player in his youth and after we were married for ten years we found out that he had a daughter who came to meet him when she was 18 years old. I made him meet her because I knew that it would damage him if he didn’t meet her. He has passed away and I have a wonderful relationship with my daughter who was born without him knowing it and she has become my daughter and not just his.
You are a good woman! Children are never guilty of the sins of their parents. Eventhough your late husband isn't guilty of that. I know how my mother dealt with it and she never blamed the children.
This was a chart topper for Julio. It was huge !!!! Every time I hear him, I think of my late Mother; She adored Julio. Do some research on him. It is wild.
As a Dad of two grown Daughters; my Pop said this to me many years ago upon the birth of my first baby girl... "Had you had a boy you'd only have one little prick to worry about; now you have a million little pricks that will break your brain"
I remember watching this on TV. Love Willie. Check out Mama's don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys with Waylon Jennings and Willie. Great reaction and Peace out ✌️ ☮️ 🙏
Yes! Waylon & Willie duets are legendary! That's an awesome rabbit hole to go down. "Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys" "Write Your Own songs" "Luckenbach, Texas" "I don't think Hank done it this way" "Don't you think this outlaw bit has done got out of hand"
Willie was married several times and he used to drink & drug too much. He came home and passed out one night, and his wife sewed him up in a sheet - he said she took her time with it and he was really in there - then she beat him with a broom. He woke up with these "white things" hitting him and he didn't know where he was or what was happening.
I've always loved the juxtaposition between Willie's super casual clothes and the fancy stages that he performs on. He's always been one of the real ones!
Definitely. Willie's voice is distinct but I think it would be a reach to say he had great vocal talent (similar, although better than, Bob Dylan in that regard). But the way that they can both connect with so many people because their styles and messages are relatable. Julio has a beautiful voice, with a beautiful face, beautiful costume, and wonderful stage presence. They seem so opposite, yet it works so well. Maybe that is part of what makes Willie so great (and why he is famous for duets...lol). He is so good at making others shine. ❤
Julio's son, Enrique Iglesias and Whitney Houston have a lovely song called Can I Have This Kiss Forever. I recommend Enrique's songs Bailamos and Rhythm Divine. Julio mostly sang in Spanish. He does have English songs but they are more like covers. Although in those days they were often referred to as standards, songs that just about everyone (okay, more like many people) sang. Along with the standards he had a smattering of covers. All very lovely.
Julio has a great voice and is one of the top selling artists of all time. He alternated between being a lawyer and a professional soccer player, until a car accident ended his soccer career, at which time he started making music. He has made songs in 14 languages, A very intelligent fellow! I love his music, and especially his voice. One of my favorite songs by him is called “ HEY” . It’s in spanish, and I don’t understand a single word beyond hey, but it sounds like the most romantic song of all time to me, though spanish friends have told me it’s actually a sad song. It would be interesting to see you react to a song, whose words you don’t understand.
Julio could make any song sound romantic. Willie Nelson's appeal to me is that his songs reflect that he is genuine and unapologetic for living his life the way he has.
Julio Iglesias is an awesum talent. The emotion he could carry is second to none. My fav song is La Carretera. It says "speak foreign to me babe" .. lol...
I love Willie!!!! ❤😊 Whiskey River Angel Flying To Close To The Ground Help Me Make It Through The Night Blue Eyes Crying On The Rain Highwayman ft. Kris kristofferson, Waylon Jennings , and Johnny Cash❤ Riders in The Sky ( rockin )
In my top ten song list cross genre, is Country artist Tim McGraw's "Don't Take the Girl." I am very surprised at how few reactions have been done of this video. The official video is great.
I do think that version is really good. This performer did it 1st in 1991 and had a big hit with it in England. It actually went to number 2 on the pop charts there. Here she is singing it live on the Tonight show. th-cam.com/video/kVpOcZgtmto/w-d-xo.html
You still need to do his duet with Waylon Luchenbock Texas. Good Hearted Woman is another great one. Good hearted Woman with David Allan Coe is another good duet
Willie, Waylon & the Boys - were a phenom. 👑 Country was always around and in the (70s) 80s it was still going and even had a resurgence and was a phenomenon. I was not a major fan but it was everywhere, you couldn't get away from it. It was it's own cult (not in the strictest sense of the word, but loosely used). Without the internet, they had their own "nation" of fans and is akin to that of Jimmy Buffet with Margaritaville or like Lynard Skynard even. People showed up in droves - faithfully, year after year and decade after decade, all their lives.
Willie and Waylon were the bomb. Talking about girls and loving them!!! Check out another great one George Strait. All my exes live in Texas. I think George has like more than 50 number one songs as well. You can fact check me just in case I am wrong.
There is one Julio Iglesas in English, one in spanish, one in french, one in italian and one in portuguese. In every language he has hits and that is the only case in music history that a singer was abre to do something like that.
Others have mentioned it I'm sure but you really should react to Julio with Johnny Carson playing Willie. It is fantastic. Johnny is so good and Julio can barely keep it it together.
This was such an unexpected matchup when it came out. I’d never heard a Latin singer before. I’ve loved Latin music ever since. Yes, he’s Enrique’s dad!
Willy was a session guy, like Glen Campbell. He played on many other artist songs. Then he started writing songs for other people that became hits like Crazy by Patsy Cline. It wasn't until middle age did he break out and become well known and a star in his own right!
Yes, Enrique's dad. Julio, and he learned how to sing in about 10 or more languages. And I will agree this was a good pair up of singers. I think Enrique and Julio Jr. has their father's features.
If you want to go down the European route of male singers like Julio, who was in the heart of almost every woman in Eurpoe, including my mums, try..... Demis Roussos - Forever and Ever. Julio did a cover.
Dang, I haven't heard this in half a minute... :) Rather missed it. Thanks for reacting to it. And just because I haven't seen an answer yet, though i likely just missed it, Enrique Iglesias is Julio's youngest son :)
Not only was Julio a hit especially with the ladies though men liked him too. His son Enrique Iglesias is a Grammy winner and hits both in Spanish and English. Maybe you can react to one of his songs Escape or Bailamos. Thanks
I love Willie Nelson and I love this song. Just as a comment, wives don't care what their husbands did before they met them, it is what they have done and continue to do after they committed to each other and wed that counts.
Everyone can relate. Women related to this song just as much. People who we’ve loved bring us our wisdom. Single kids Stay away from anyone who describes their exs as bitches or assholes , because they aren’t learning and they will talk just as nasty about you.
Two legends on the same stage. Very jealous of those lucky enough to be in the audience. Still hoping you will react to Lee Ann Womack "I Hope You Dance." th-cam.com/video/RV-Z1YwaOiw/w-d-xo.html Perfect for a girl dad.
Thats gonna be a long a$$ song .. Julio was a PLAAAAAAAAAAYER .. he is up there with Jagger , Beatty , Nicholson & Errol Flynn ( 3000 +++ ) by all accounts ! I find it difficult enough with one !! 😳 😅 😅
Willie didn't write this song but if you listened to all the songs he did write, you'd spend the rest of the year if you only listened to two a day. Most would be songs you know of quality!
from my experience, daughters come in 3 because that's what I got lol, no boys..I don't know if I could have handled boys actually :D I had 3 teen daughters at once haha.

You are a good woman! Children are never guilty of the sins of their parents. Eventhough your late husband isn't guilty of that.
I know how my mother dealt with it and she never blamed the children.
Same here except we had been married 44 yrs when he found out a weekend fling brought him a now 45 yr old daughter. Shook him up.
This was a chart topper for Julio. It was huge !!!! Every time I hear him, I think of my late Mother; She adored Julio. Do some research on him. It is wild.

Johnny Carson did a skit with Julio and this song on his show. It was so hilarious Julio had a very hard time keeping himself in control.
Julio's son, Enrique Iglesias and Whitney Houston have a lovely song called Can I Have This Kiss Forever.
I recommend Enrique's songs Bailamos and Rhythm Divine.

With over 300 million records sold and around 390 gold and platinum record awards, he is considered one of the most successful individual artists
My wait is finally over, thank you!

Whiskey River
Angel Flying To Close To The Ground
Help Me Make It Through The Night
Blue Eyes Crying On The Rain
Highwayman ft. Kris kristofferson, Waylon Jennings , and Johnny Cash❤
Riders in The Sky ( rockin )
This song makes me visualise two aging housemates comparing notes on their romantic conquests. This was beautifully performed.
I honestly forgot how great Julio Iglesias was. I used to enjoy listening to him and Demis Rousos when i was but a mere child in the 70's and 80's
Demis Rousos was HUGE here in Europe as was Vicky Leandros. The Greek really made it back then. Great memories.
Two of my mum's favourite people, she loved Willie for his music and just really fancied Julio.
✌️💙🏴🇬🇧
Such a beautiful duet. A classic IMO 😊 (Yes, Enrique is his son.)
In my top ten song list cross genre, is Country artist Tim McGraw's "Don't Take the Girl." I am very surprised at how few reactions have been done of this video. The official video is great.
Julio and Dolly - When you tell me that you love me. Beautiful song.

Not a good song.... but a wonderful song
Man, this is a banger!!! I forgot all about it and it just went on my playlist
Same.
Was watching this live when it first aired. It became a sensation as did Julio. My mom named her dog after him.
You still need to do his duet with Waylon Luchenbock Texas. Good Hearted Woman is another great one. Good hearted Woman with David Allan Coe is another good duet
BP, this song went platinum in the U.S.
just talent pure talent
Julio looks very dashing and Willy Nelson looks like one of the girls Julio Iglesias loved before.like (Polka Hauntis)and his plat's and bandana

I was six years old. I've grew up listening to it ❤❤❤❤
One of my favorites is Willie singing "Angel Flying to Close to the Ground".
Two great singers.
Julio ❤
Julio makes me smile as I think of his concert with my lovestuck mom and aunt. I saw what I looked like when I went to concerts of stars I loved❤🤍
I'm glad the notification came up on time. I needed a break from Laken's trial.
What a great duet. Excellent and thank you for sharing.

Julio is pappa to Enrique. And yes Julio is a vet. of the PDC (Panty Dropping Club)
This was such an unexpected matchup when it came out. I’d never heard a Latin singer before. I’ve loved Latin music ever since. Yes, he’s Enrique’s dad!
You really should try more Julio Iglesias. He made beautiful music!
Legends
My favorite 7 Spanish Angels
Wonderful.
A big favourite on the Karaoke playlist in the 90s as could sing with your best mate after way too many beverages 😂
This was a huge hit and sounds as good now as it did then.
He risqué is one of Julius kids. Julio is a huge singer in all Latin countries.
Love it!
My favorite song is seven Spanish angels my dad use to do that song together both singing and my playing fiddle or mandolin ❤❤
Oh wow that’s awesome.
Willy was a session guy, like Glen Campbell. He played on many other artist songs. Then he started writing songs for other people that became hits like Crazy by Patsy Cline. It wasn't until middle age did he break out and become well known and a star in his own right!

Song is simple but deep at the same time
If you want to go down the European route of male singers like Julio, who was in the heart of almost every woman in Eurpoe, including my mums, try.....
Demis Roussos - Forever and Ever. Julio did a cover.
It is amazing that Willie gets on well with all his ex wives. They get a long with each other as he treats them all with love and respect.
The song was written by Albert Hammond a great Singer/Songwriter!💖
Great song giving thanks to women
Classic
Dang, I haven't heard this in half a minute... :) Rather missed it. Thanks for reacting to it. And just because I haven't seen an answer yet, though i likely just missed it, Enrique Iglesias is Julio's youngest son :)
He's 90. And advocated for smoking weed FOREVER! 😂😂😂❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

Winds of change. Scorpians
This was at the time when you weren't anybody if you hadn't sung with Willie.
You and your wife should try listening to "Love Someone" with Lukas Graham . You will love this song 💖🌺💖
Julio's son Enrique had a few hits himself. Worth checking out.
Yes he’s his son
Check out Julio’s son Enrique singing with Whitney Houston; “Could I have this kiss forever”
Love that song
❤️✌🏻🎶
Julio Eglasias also has a duet with Stevie Wonder called My Love if you haven't heard it yet please react to it i think you would love it
Willie Nelson- Mendocino County Line (duet)
You need to look up a album called Country Rhythm and Blues. Pick any song on it. You will be surprised by any of them.
Enrique Iglesias is Julios son
Great song
the studio cut really shows off Julio's voice
Willie also wrote the song crazy Patsy Cline sang.
You should hear Willie’s son sing. Close your eyes and you can’t tell the difference.
You have to do Julio Iglesias and the song: me olvide de vivir ( in forgot to live)
You should do Julio’s son Enrique’s “Hero”
I love Willie Nelson and I love this song. Just as a comment, wives don't care what their husbands did before they met them, it is what they have done and continue to do after they committed to each other and wed that counts.
What an odd paring but they were great together ❤

Still hoping you will react to Lee Ann Womack "I Hope You Dance." th-cam.com/video/RV-Z1YwaOiw/w-d-xo.html Perfect for a girl dad.
You need to do a reaction to Marty Robins "El Paso"
I have 3 girls. I have 4 grandchildren…. 3 of them are girls… even my dogs were girls!
Julio is Enrique's father.. One of those great crooners😂
Thank you! Check this one, body! 🙂

Thats gonna be a long a$$ song .. Julio was a PLAAAAAAAAAAYER .. he is up there with Jagger , Beatty , Nicholson & Errol Flynn ( 3000 +++ ) by all accounts ! I find it difficult enough with one !! 😳 😅 😅
You need to check out Anne Murray
Willie didn't write this song but if you listened to all the songs he did write, you'd spend the rest of the year if you only listened to two a day. Most would be songs you know of quality!
This is THE weirdest duo ever...
but it works.
I wonder if Willie has moved to Canada yet?
Nah...I heard he's moving into your mother's panties 😊
I don't think any of Willie's wives had a problem with this song.
Ray Stevens has a very funny version of this song
Beer for my horses
from my experience, daughters come in 3 because that's what I got lol, no boys..I don't know if I could have handled boys actually :D I had 3 teen daughters at once haha.
