Yes, this Guns N' Roses in 1991 was definitely a change from the band from 1987... they had gone from a 5-piece hard rock band into a 6-piece (plus live musicians) arena rock act... and there were ballads, country songs and rockers on the 2 'Use your illusion' albums by Guns N' Roses. W. Axl Rose (vocals) demanded $1.5 Million to make this extravagant video in 1992 for 'November rain'... a song that was inspired by grand piano ballads by Elton John... It was Part 2 of a music video trilogy that started w/ the Guns N' Roses ballad "Don't cry"... both videos featured Axl Rose's then-GF supermodel Stephanie Seymour... (Axl's character dies in Part 1... Stephanie's character dies in Part 2, depicting November rain that falls on their wedding day... and 1 year later at her funeral) Part 3 was the music video 'Estranged'... filmed without Stephanie Seymour in '93 (She and Axl Rose broke up) where Axl's character is depicted struggling w/ life after loss... If want more rockin' tunes by Guns N' Roses, I suggest the songs - 'Rocket queen' ... 'Live and let die' (Paul McCartney cover)... 'My Michelle' ... 'Locomotive'...
"Incident At Neshabur" and "Black Magic Woman" by Santana might be to your liking. I'm not going to say why to spoil your first listen if it would be your first. Both songs are worth a reaction video in my opinion, especially if you haven't heard them before.
Oh I’m sorry, I forgot the name on “Mia’s” channel was “ShawnsDontEverStopDuri gAGuiyarSolo”. Dude, you gave her some kool songs to listen to, and even a lil back ground to go with. Why do that, then act like you made “Guitar Solo” Rules, and give her what sounded like an order? Respect rules, go over those.
Yeah, you called it. It was part of their growth and trying to expand horizons as a band. The 1st two songs you reacted to were off their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, which was pure hard rock (and the greatest debut album of all time, imo). This was off their 3rd album, Use Your Illusion (I and II, double album). A lot of good songs on those albums, but a decent amount of average as well. Unfortunately, there was no more growth after this, as they broke up soon after these albums were released. But they have been back together since 2016, and still touring successfully.
The bride was supermodel Stephanie Seymor, who was dating Axle Rose at the time and had a son with him. Despite having seen this video a few billions times, I busted out laughing when you reacted to the bride "oh my gawwwd!" Bwahahah! Is that a chick thing? The director, Andy Morahan, was trending big time then and even directed Michael Jackson's "Dangerous" which is similar in style. I feel I need to tell this to all GenZ reactors: many of you seem to tend to do something that never crossed our minds when all these songs came out in the '80s and '90s: label and categorize them. It's understandable given how compartmentalized, simplified, and standardized today's music scene is, We weren't surprised that Metallica or GnR released slower ballads or that the Beastie Boys used electric guitars. It seems that art direction, lighting, cinematography, and editing talent no longer exists in modern music videos. I feel so sorry for GenZ.
At the time it was made, this was the most expensive music video ever made. It is also Axl's masterpiece when it comes to ballads, at least in many people's eyes. there are a lot of details here that are easily missed the first time you watch it, so you may have to watch it a few times to understand the meaning without reading all the comments.
You can't be wrong - your opinion is yours, don't let anyone tell you what to think! This is definitely on the bottom of GnR songs I'm listening to if I have the choice. But heavy metal bands always put out a ballad to make sure the girls buy their albums.

It's tough to listen to Guns n' Roses nowadays, it didn't age as well as other bands. Although I have to say these guys were very good song writers, specially during the Use Your Illusion era. Both albums are very good but the songs Coma, Estranged, Don't Cry and Civil War are masterpieces, just to name a few.

Kinda shocked you don't know some of the songs you've posted but I love watching your genuine reaction to them! Wish I could listen to some of these for the first time all over again. Keep it up!
Ballads/Power-Ballads are a time-honoured tradition for rock and metal. Axl was deeply inspired aand loved performing with Elton John so it is easy to see some of the inspiration seeping into GnR's later work. If you havent yet you GOT to check out Meatloafs' Bat out of Hell and a song he did with Cher called Dead Ringer for Love.
Orchestra music and rock music can mesh together really well if done right. Metallica did it on "No Leaf Clover". I think that's the one. I'm sure there are several more. Alter Bridge did a whole concert at the Royal Albert Hall with an orchestra. Sounded amazing. This was the second song in a 3 song trilogy. "Don't Cry" and "Estranged" were the first and last ones.

Sure great songs have 2B views but its not always the case. Many great songs have less. Others to try. Rush - Tom Sawyer Triumph - Lay it On the Line Black Sabbath - Loner Judas Priest - Painkiller (great for your squats) You never answered about ACDC. However, I think Overdose is outstanding.
One of the great things about these bands form that time period was the range and depth of their music. It wasn't the same song every track and I know. Patience and Don't cry are my fav GnR songs and they're not head bangers at all. Love you take on it though.
This has to be my favourite GnR song. It’s a Ballad, That’s why it’s got that slow dance vibe. Hence the drums being slow and not to crazy. But that outro has to be the best i’v heard.
"The best part's when she dies." 😈 I wonder if you'd like My Chemical Romance and specifically their songs "The Sharpest of Lives" and "Honey This Mirror Isn't Big Enough for the Two of Us."
Mia. Do yourself a favor (and us) and invest the time to listen to pink Floyd's "dark side of the moon" all the way through from beginning to end. It is arguably the greatest rock album of all time. I'm sure everyone will agree it's a life changing experience. Lol

You should listen to “Love to Love” by UFO. One of the best songs ever. Axl just did the vocals for the song on Michael Schenker’s new album and it’s good but the original by UFO is EPIC!
You should check out Skillet, one of my favorite bands that no one really talks about. Christian rock band with secular sound and female drummer its freaking awesome. Please react to their song and video "Invincible" I guarantee you'll love it!
While you're starting your rock journey might i suggest a newer smaller band than in recent years has opened for gnr and others, the band I'm taking about is called "The Warning" they're three young women and sisters from Mexico the rest you'll learn as you watch them
You need something with more drums. Try Queen - Radio Gaga and go for the Live Aid version. It has to be the 4 minutes 50 seconds version, not the shorter one, or you'll miss a special moment with your spirit animal Freddie Mercury at the end of the performance. You won't regret it

Stephanie's character dies in Part 2, depicting November rain that falls on their wedding day... and 1 year later at her funeral)
Part 3 was the music video 'Estranged'... filmed without Stephanie Seymour in '93 (She and Axl Rose broke up) where Axl's character is depicted struggling w/ life after loss...
If want more rockin' tunes by Guns N' Roses, I suggest the songs - 'Rocket queen' ... 'Live and let die' (Paul McCartney cover)... 'My Michelle' ... 'Locomotive'...
La Mafia uses the violin/symphony/ piano Chingos in their ballads. Vida, me estoy enamorado and what not.
It’s so nice Mia takes the time to give everyone a heart for comments, I wonder how many you actually read .
"Incident At Neshabur" and "Black Magic Woman" by Santana might be to your liking. I'm not going to say why to spoil your first listen if it would be your first. Both songs are worth a reaction video in my opinion, especially if you haven't heard them before.
this is part of a trilogy Don't Cry", "November Rain", and "Estranged" and you never stop during a guitar solo
Please react to Sepultura, roots, it’s the most famous Brazilian metal song, very popular all over the world! Please please please!
I like that it’s not bad! That’s Axl Rose and Slash! Two of the greatest Music icons in the World ever!
At the time it was made, this was the most expensive music video ever made. It is also Axl's masterpiece when it comes to ballads, at least in many people's eyes. there are a lot of details here that are easily missed the first time you watch it, so you may have to watch it a few times to understand the meaning without reading all the comments.
Love the reaction as always 😊. I used to play this while holding my son and it would put him to sleep before the end of the song.
You can't be wrong - your opinion is yours, don't let anyone tell you what to think! This is definitely on the bottom of GnR songs I'm listening to if I have the choice. But heavy metal bands always put out a ballad to make sure the girls buy their albums.
Hi there, I have been checking out all your reactions and have a suggestion for *nightwish, which is a symphonic metal band. Very popular actually, try (gohst love story) or (romanticide) the later is the heavier song.. please do the live versions..at wacken 2013. Thanks.
If your new to Rock and your favorite instrument is drums I recommend going straight to Led Zeppelin. Greatest group of all time!
Hi Mia...for me this is one of the best ballads ever...Guns is the last best Hardrock Group band from the 90s...and now?...best regards👍💙
There a lot more to go .. appetite for destruction is the no 1 debut album 30 mi plus sold worldwide
You such a beauty my lord !!!❤️🔥
It's tough to listen to Guns n' Roses nowadays, it didn't age as well as other bands.
Although I have to say these guys were very good song writers, specially during the Use Your Illusion era. Both albums are very good but the songs Coma, Estranged, Don't Cry and Civil War are masterpieces, just to name a few.
Maybe she should listen to some Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N’ Roses
Yea she’d love it based on what I’ve seen from her.
yeah, this is a part of a trilogy of songs: november rain, Don't Cry, and Estranged. but if you want to try their more energetic songs try You could be mine or mr. Brownstone.
Your reaction to a 2pac song popped up on here today and I've been watching all of your reactions since lol. Kinda shocked you don't know some of the songs you've posted but I love watching your genuine reaction to them! Wish I could listen to some of these for the first time all over again. Keep it up!
Is it mago de oz?
I think you will dig "Estranged" ! It's quite a lenghty song like november rain but it's more heavy than symphonic ! Greetings from France 🥂🌹🌹🌹🌹
Is the band you were trying to remember called “Santana”? And this song has one of the best guitar solos ever!
The Sex Pistols - Anarchy In The UK
turn on the lyrics if you like.
lets expand your list. .
If you love the drums, then it's time for you to listen to Rush. Neil Peart was the absolute greatest drummer there ever was.
Awe Mia, I almost missed the part where you said “This is November 1st” lol. I had to re-check the date on my phone, to make sure it still was Nov 16th!! So many Negative comments. And yet you liked everyone. I loved this reaction!! Remember , YOUR JOURNEY!! There is nothing better, in this world, than smiling at those who frown!! See it’s not just your smile that’s big, your Heart is too!!🌹🌹🌹
" Rocket queen " is what you need to listen too , it's my favorite GNR song and I dedicate it to you ( who wouldn't 😅 ) peace ✌️🕊️ from the Inland Empire
Skid Row "I remember you", Scorpions "Still Loving You" Bon Jovi "I'll Be There for You" Heart tribute to Led Zeppelin. If you react to some of these will be good to see. Have a great day beautiful MAMI. 🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️💯💯💯
Also Metallica "One" is a guitar and drums masterpiece and the lyrics are very powerful.
The Bee Gees "Too much heaven" is a must!
If you want a rocker I feel like the ending more than saves it
Sure great songs have 2B views but its not always the case. Many great songs have less. Others to try.
Rush - Tom Sawyer
Triumph - Lay it On the Line
Black Sabbath - Loner
Judas Priest - Painkiller (great for your squats)
You never answered about ACDC. However, I think Overdose is outstanding.
One of the most expensive music videos ever made. cost over 1 million dollars. Adjusted for inflation would be equal to 2.3 million today
you should open an asmr channel your voice is very relaxing❤
One of the great things about these bands form that time period was the range and depth of their music. It wasn't the same song every track and I know. Patience and Don't cry are my fav GnR songs and they're not head bangers at all. Love you take on it though.
This has to be my favourite GnR song. It’s a Ballad, That’s why it’s got that slow dance vibe. Hence the drums being slow and not to crazy. But that outro has to be the best i’v heard.
"The best part's when she dies." 😈
I wonder if you'd like My Chemical Romance and specifically their songs "The Sharpest of Lives" and "Honey This Mirror Isn't Big Enough for the Two of Us."
Mia. Do yourself a favor (and us) and invest the time to listen to pink Floyd's "dark side of the moon" all the way through from beginning to end. It is arguably the greatest rock album of all time. I'm sure everyone will agree it's a life changing experience. Lol
Estranged and Rocket Queen
Tokyo 92
Come on.. Don't compare Guns N' Roses to Disturbed. Guns N' Roses are real talented musicians.
The Beatles remake they did was something that you might like
You really need to listen to "patience". I'll love it
You should listen to Guns n' roses live version of Knocking on Heaven's Door from the Freddie Mercury tribute concert
You to cute my sister❤
Great reaction, I had the exact same when I first heard it. It took me a while to like it though.
Coming from a love of dance / house / EDM, you try You Could Be Mine, a fast, drum heavy song of theirs. I reckon you'd love it
Whenever it rains in November, I think of GnR.
Also one rule is to actually watch the music video since a lot of people don’t which is bad since the video tells a story most of the time
GnR is my all time favorite band. My opinion “November Rain” and Don’t cry” is their best work. Harder songs are night train, my Michelle, you could be mine. Check em out.
Mia darling, try not to pause during the instrumental solos. Talk over them, pause during the chorus This allows you to appreciate the musicianship of rock/metal bands
GnR Civil War. Trust me. It's sadly still relevant and absolutely beautifully written.
You should listen to “Love to Love” by UFO. One of the best songs ever. Axl just did the vocals for the song on Michael Schenker’s new album and it’s good but the original by UFO is EPIC!
Estranged , GNR Song " Killer Slash ( Top Hat), Melodies Guitar ", Like Mermaid Appear In The Sea, Baby Mia In The Moment. 💖👫💖👫💖.
I think Guinness World Records is in your future.
?
You should check out Skillet, one of my favorite bands that no one really talks about. Christian rock band with secular sound and female drummer its freaking awesome. Please react to their song and video "Invincible" I guarantee you'll love it!
While you're starting your rock journey might i suggest a newer smaller band than in recent years has opened for gnr and others, the band I'm taking about is called "The Warning" they're three young women and sisters from Mexico the rest you'll learn as you watch them
Is it Maña?
You need something with more drums. Try Queen - Radio Gaga and go for the Live Aid version. It has to be the 4 minutes 50 seconds version, not the shorter one, or you'll miss a special moment with your spirit animal Freddie Mercury at the end of the performance. You won't regret it
I've been writing my comments in English cuando se nota que sabés español! That's why I'm gonna write in Spanish from now on jajaja. Linda reacción eeeh! igualmente, si te gusta algo más rockero de ellos, te recomendaría reaccionar a canciones como Rocket Queen, Bad Obsession o You Could Be Mine. Abrazo desde Argentina 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Joan Jett & the Blackhearts...I hate myself for loving you
Try ‘You could be mine’. Same band. I think you will like it a lot more. I’m sure :)
hello miss.
if u love percussion, see the professor, Neil Peart drum solo in frankfurt.
rush in spectacle.
he is considering the best percussionist by his peer.
