Anthony Mason is a wonderful interviewer. Almost like a therapist. He is genuinely interested in the people he interviews. As for CHER.... a LEGEND. So blessed to see her live. She brings joy to the world!
Perhaps the best interview of her career; the chemistry between Anthony Mason and Cher feels like a couple of people visiting in my living room. I saw Sonny and Cher in Bakersfield, California when I was 15 years old. They were uniquely one-of-a-kind in a magical era. 🙏🏽 The woman is a survivor.

I admired her before, and after this half hour, she inspired me. Living a long time does not have to make you irrelevant, as older people are often labeled. Go, Cher.
This is the best interview with Cher I think I've ever seen! Even though it was concentrated primarily on one specific topic and I've seen dozens upon dozens of interviews over the past 40 years with her, she seems the most relaxed and the most comfortable. And it's just about the best job that ANY interviewer has ever done with her. They have a great and seemingly unrehearsed banter that feels free and in the moment. She actually seems like shes enjoying it. Like catching up with an old friend. This is the way you do it!
Anthony Mason’s interview was both thoughtful and insightful. Such a wonderful conversation between two intelligent, empathic people. Cher is iconic. She balances authenticity and vulnerability in a way that few people can ever achieve.
