I kind of want Maverick to make a comeback in Dota 2. After all, we've already got Alchemist farming gold and Aghs like a madman, and Bounty Hunter boosting his team's GPM and mugging the enemy to reduce their GPM, so an Int hero that actually uses gold as a resource for some crazy strong abilities could round it all out, especially now that couriers have been reworked to give more and more gold as the game goes on and your hero levels.
@Evil GOD Joe China had a "low violence" model for skeleton king. Then he was removed and replaced with WK. Probably valve didn't want any kind of risk of a legal issue because of Blizzard's Diablo, but I think it might have been both. In the end who really knows. Chinese censorship is pretty fucked though, so that's the most used conclusion.

Hearing the Owlboy soundtrack in the background really threw me off. That game is a gem and hearing it's soundtrack used in a video is really nice. Owlboy is really underrated, I really recommend to anyone whose reading this and hasnt heard of it before.

Okay, my memory is being weird... Flame Lord sounds very familiar, but it seems like what I'm remembering has traits from several different points in his timeline. I rememeber a Hero that used the shaman model, and his ultimate was the Meteor described for Flame Lord. Except one detail I remember is that this was *before* Frozen Throne enhanced the customizability of spells in the editor, so the spell actually summoned an Infernal with a 0-second duration so that it would spawn, but then just immediately die, with the impact damage and radius increased to serve as the ultimate. I remember nothing else about his other spells, because all I really remember is playing as him in a *really* early Dota map, and I kept killing an enemy hero who used the Hydralisk model (was Venomancer in yet?), whose player officially dubbed me the "Meanie Rock Dropper".
But anyone else remembered Nochthitus the Dark Terminator? Some people said that he was too imba during its stint in DotA All Stars 4.1x and for some reason i want to see him back on DOTA 2 with some minor changes and tweaks.
@@oonmm he's straight lightning. There's not a single wind spell on his arsenal. Another option could be a Water Spirit. But i feel Wind has more Eastern Inspirations that can make it easier to make.

not gonna lie, I ain't a fan of maverick the gambler's abilities but I can see that a hero centered around gold would work, but maybe centered on gaining gold, not spending it, well bounty hunter is already kinda that and also a proper hero. even tho' these heroes were abandoned, the devs learnt more on what works and what it doesn't . It's not about playable heroes, it's about the journey devs went trough to be able to make heroes with designs that work well with rest of the game.
There was a hero with the ability to global single target stun but the caster gets stunned as well. Its called phone call or something. Does anyone know or remember?
considering how bounty hunter can steal gold with jinada i could see a hero in the future wich could use gold management as a mechanic maybe the gambler could come back
I think our boi fannadin is still playable in chaos (a korean dota spin off from the wc3 days thats still played today) but instead of having the stun on the first spell has a smaller meteor just in case lol

Wanderer - 10s on ensnare, 6 s on war stomp and then his ulti has stun too? for 2 s. stunlocking hero for 18 seconds. Banes ulti at max has 11s. OMG

This Kaze hero can definitely make a comeback as the 5th Spirit. Wind Spirit.
We already have Storm Spirit. His ultimate is a combination of lightning and wind that pushes him around. Heavy wind is part of what defines a storm.
