You know, that thing Monkey King did about erasing his name from the judgement of razor making himself and his army immortal is pretty much exactly what the original Wukong did in Journey to the west. Cool refference right there.
It's cool how they managed to work in the original story of Sun Wukong into the Dota-verse. Like how him and Broodmother apparently had a thing, referencing the Spider Demons he encountered during The Journey to the West.
he was caught as and forced to be a servant by the gods, broke free, and ate the fruit of immortality!
Razor is like the kind of guy that takes your bag of candy and then beats you with it.

The red Lighting basic atack make a cool look like casting finger of death every basic atack Good Old Days :)

@@paulsaints1597 i think so it would match with his signature blue color, like his model, skill effect, and skill icon is blue, it's strange if his attack was red lightning out of blue, tho i too prefer his red lightning, maybe an Arcana that change all of his signature color to red color would be cool

I remember avoiding buying lifesteal on Razor on Oldschool Dota because it would override the Red Lightning attack with the boring green projectile lmao
Buying diffusal blade is also one thing. It removes the lightning attack animation, effectively making you invisible while attacking.
I remember playing dota 1 back in the day. I discover the effect when i copy MOD on an AI and i was using CM. After that i buy MOD almost to every range hero i use. Miss the good old days

@O K He's right you dumb bitch, if you HAD DIFFUSAL your attacks would be invisible and the unit hit would just receive the mana loss debuff. Go back to league of legends kid

Razor was the first hero that i picked in dota back in war3 it holds special place in my heart
I swear, that line of "The electricity is almost uncontrolable" from HoN is absolutely amazing. Didn't use to play CD back in the day, but whenever I had the chance the voicelines were amazing. That one, and "They will know no sanctuary" from Nomad.
I missed hon so much. Nomad is probably one of the best hero in terms of design and skills. Add to that the sound of his voice and skills especially his ult line

I used to play Rhapsody a lot. Her ult wasn't cancelled by items, so you could ult, use assasin's shroud and you would be making all your team invulnerable while being untargetable. Add to that a Shrunken head and Staff of the master, group for teamfights and win.

Razor is the very first hero I played in Dota when I was 8 years old and I'll buy him 6 gloves of haste because of the attack speed. I'm 21 now and Razor is still my favorite hero in Dota 2 because he holds a special place in my heart.
Can believe it has been more than 10 years since I started playing Dota. And Razor was the only hero I could play for about a year. Nice video and thanks for the nostalgia.

I wish his aura would slowly steal movement speed over time from nearby enemies, would actually make it somewhat interesting as a spell and it'd synergize with his kit a lot.

ahh finally another one of these...
One thing to point out: the old Unstable Current used to damage, slow, and purge enemies who cast a spell on him. Similar functionality to Pug's nether ward; I wanna say it was 60/80/100/120 damage and only hit targets that actually casted ON razor (no aoe or ground target spells). I always liked that, depending on the enemy team comp, you could skill it up quickly and do a lot of damage to Rhasta, Lion, etc

I bet only a few people notice this, but in the early days of Allstars, if you equip Razor with Maelstrom, the old ability Storm Seeker can proc, causing unnoticeable chaos in the background, but the effects are hardly noticeable.
