Why on Earth would this man leave a million-dollar industry where he could preach and heal, just to preach for, and I'm only guessing---a maybe middle-class salary---unless he found the truth? Powerful testimony.
Errr maybe because he was convicted of and came to a knowledge of biblical truth; that’s what the reformation was about, the rediscovery of the gospel!

I think we should only measure by the biblical accordance of a teacher/teaching and his/its fruits like Jesus told us.

@David McClean I spent 20 years in a Charismatic church using tongues, pursuing healing, speaking prophesy. To be honest, I only saw one true super natural experience. I have many friends that also were part of a "gifted: church, After really exploring their own personal experiences in the gifts, I discovered most were inferred experiences. The super natural gifts do exist but are very rare. I began to bother me that the focus was on the gifts not on the the Giver of the gifts. Paul said the gift of tongues are for the unbeliever. They cant understand gibberish. You may have the rare gift, I don't know. Ask yourself..., how many super natural experiences have you actually witnessed first hand, where an unbeliever understood you were talking to them in their language that you have never studied, true healings in an instant, prophecies that are 100% true all the time. Paul spoke of the diminishing of the gifts. Jesus "many will come to me and say Lord, did I not heal, prophesy, and cast out demons in your name? I did not know you".. his reply (paraphrased). Bless you brother for your belief in Christ, We will know His Perfect Truth in His Kingdom.
I’m coming from deception please pray for me people. Im in tears as I watch this and Jesus is confirming and revealing truth to me! Please pray for me. I don’t know if anything I’ve been taught is true and I’m so confused! All I know is I love Jesus and I need to know the truth and I need to start everything again. Please pray

Our heavenly father will lead you to the right place with sincere, spirit filled pastors and staff, surrounding you with love. Use the Word of God to guide you and I am praying you will have discernment to help you determine where you should hook in to a congregation! Blessings always🙌🏼Praise the Lord

Oh dear sharonewers5298, I pray you are alive and well. I too got involved in the Word of faith movement as a baby Christian. After almost 2 years I was so disillusioned that I packed up all the books, left them on top of a friend's car and walked away. I was confused and disappointed and didn't trust any "religion" or my own thoughts and feelings. So lost. That was in the late 1970s. I didn't really search for God again until 2010 when I asked Jesus to show me if the Bible was true. I stood on His promise that if I searched for Him with my whole heart he would show me. I knew that if it was indeed His Word then what it says about Jesus will be true. So, I started reading FOR MYSELF. I had to let go any other teaching and learned to read it in context, as a whole with common sense meaning as I would any other book. The clincher for me was Dr. Voddie Baucham's video "Why I choose to believe the Bible". I have learned from good men of God who stand on a literal common sense interpretation of the Bible : Ed Hinson, Jack Hibbs, Justin Peters, Dr. Reagan (Lamb Lion Ministries, Christ in Prophecy), The Watchman's Bagpipes blog (good Biblical discernment), Dr. Andy Woods. There are more but that is enough to start. Seek Him with all your heart. He will show you truth so you will be able to tell "truth from the almost truth". Remember, if anything or anyone diminishes the authority if scripture, who Jesus is and Jesus' finished work on the cross and rising again then that is not of the true God. God bless you and open your eyes and give you peace and understanding. I am praying for you.
The 92 people who disliked this video are the remaining members of the Hinn church. But in all seriousness my wife and I really enjoyed your testimony considering that we also grew up in the Pentecostal church(Romanian). Fortunately, there was Godly born again Christians to direct us and encourage us to read for ourselves. We have since left the church but keep close ties with certain people. We’ll be praying for you, keep sharing the word of God and let’s witness the greatest miracle; the conversion of a soul from death into life. The new birth.

I used to believe in the prosperity gospel, but didn't realize til a couple year's later. Now i found this church..(after year's of not being able to find BIBLE BELIEVING church )🕊🙏🙏🤗🙏👍

I just got done working a 12 hr shift alone and spent it listening to this video, American Gospel film. I love listening to Costi Hinn. Such a great speaker and wonderful humbleness.

This is such a wonderful testimony of God's control over a man's life who is obedient to Gods' way.
I've rarely heard a pastor speak so strongly about his wife and marriage being his first ministry. What a refreshing change! And to see that not all pastors expect their moves and children to just 'fall in' behind them, and their ministry to their church and beyond. And the fact that he stood up to his family, whereas a weaker, more selfish man would allow himself to continue to be controlled, especially re the kind of luxury they were used to.
We need more men like this, who love God, and who will defend their wives. If only there were more...

I’m sure I don’t agree with everything he believes, but I’m very appreciative for him speaking out against his family’s dishonest practices. I get the impression he endeavors to be a simple, humble, honest leader. Nice.
This makes me cry like a kid.
I came out of a similar international healing ministry (it has even associate itself with Benny Hinn in the last few years). I was working there full time for 7 years. Everything there is the same… the special anointing, the man of god’s special status, the honour system, security, the luxury, ministry being the first priority, the seed sowing… it’s really hard to leave, it’s only by God’s grace he opens your eyes to what you’re into and gives you the strength to leave. When you leave you face a lot of oppositions, mockery or they say things like ‘you’re coming out of the grace’. God causes you to want to know the truth. I can’t remember the teachings talking about God being sovereign (it was so much about what you faith can do), it’s only lately I started pondering on God’s sovereignty and it changes everything about how you know or understand God. Bless you Pastor Costi, it’s a powerful testimony and I relate with it 100%.

My eyes are being opened.
I remember being in Tulsa, OK. at Oral Roberts University in the early 1990's to attend a Holy Ghost Conference your uncle was at, among others. During his service, and that week, I felt as though what I was seeing going on was not legitimate. I felt a deceptive spirit at work, and wanted confirmation for what I felt the Holy Spirit was causing me to see and understand.
I proceeded to get up from my seat which was only several rows from the platform, and walk over to the side of the auditorium and just acted as though I belonged, and knew what I was doing. I passed by some double doors, that were attended by a couple of fellas that just let me walk right on by. I continued down a hall way and proceeded through another doorway that led up a stairway to the platform or stage. This doorway again was being watched by a couple of people and they did not ask me anything and let me walk right on by. I came to a big curtain back drop and walked around it and there I was... right there on the stage as they were bringing people up by two lines. One line went up stairs on one side of the stage and another line up the other side of the stage. Oral Roberts, his son and other very popular people stood all around me watching this show.
I was standing right there within several feet of everything. No one said a word too me. I was able to experience it all right there on the stage. The deception and the false movement of what most everyone was calling the Holy Ghost, was evident. It was all the manifestation of the flesh! I did not feel anything Holy or Godly at all. It certainly grieved Gods Spirit within me.
I must have stood there for 15 minutes or so.
When I felt it necessary to leave, I did. I just turned and walked right off that stage the same way I got there. No one said a word to me. I believe God had given that experience and that I was shown the deception and the false teaching up close and personal. I will never forget it.
I have taken a lot of persecution from individuals caught up in the "hyper charismatic" teaching and movement. I have shared my experience with only a few until now.
I since have boldly stood on the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. I now have a small fellowship in Illinois that I minister at. Worship In Word Ministry in Tuscola, IL. was birthed. We an understanding that false teachers have been deceiving Gods people with a false gospel for many ages. In these last days we need to take a stand on Gods Holy Word and through His Holy Spirit breathe life back into His congregation of the Redeemed prepare and equipping a remnant body for Him to call His Bride. The Holy Scriptures should be the Light unto our path. Nothing else. JMM

I love what was said about men being the spiritual leader and how men shall be judged more by God for how they lead their own wife and family. Powerful so true. It touched my heart and started to bring tears to me as the Holy Spirit spoke me to; as a call to action in obedience to His leading. Thank you Jesus!

Listening to this made me cry with relief Costi. It is so spirituality healing. I got caught up in the charismatic circle you describe over the past few years (from watching a church online) and it all came to an ugly head last year at a Tent Revival event in the UK. Many guest speakers from all over the world, everybody praying in tongues, and falling over, invisible healing and deliverance being declared, but all my husband and I felt was the darkness your wife described. It was so unexpected. We came looking for God. We came for healing and spiritual gifts. The atmosphere was oppressive, hyped, empty and dark. We are still healing and working our way through the theology and building a more simple and honest relationship with God again. The abuse of authority is a challenge to recover from. Your testimony puts words to it all and tells me again what I already know, that I'm not a luke warm, spirit quenching nobody, but a child of God. A sheep who heard his voice in the midst of chaos. A daughter he will never leave or forsake. Thank you, praise the Lord for releasing you and bless you ❤️🙏

Thank you for your testimony! You are blessed. During covid, I recommitted to reading the Word everyday, then God really convicted me and opened my eyes to how NAR and Word of Faith had derailed me and my understanding of faith. Now that I understand that faith is a gift from God, that it comes by hearing the Word, is a fruit of the Spirit, cannot be worked up by any human effort, is wrought by God's inward persuasion, and becomes my possession once God gives it to me~I will cherish and guard my faith diligently! After recently studying the Greek Word for faith, God reminded me this was the true faith that I was saved by 27 years ago. My life was marked with much sin~deceit, trauma, rebellion and new age. But God is good and keeps His promises...bringing much healing to my life over the years. God is sovereign, and does it His Way, His time!

former New Ager..lost in sinful lifestyle... believing that everybody have their own truth that leads to heaven..How lost and deceived by the enemy I was.. But by God's grace..Jesus saved my life..my soul..He forgave me of my sins. . gave me new 💓 new life.. And Iam forever grateful to God for that..

But God was merciful..and very patient with me..without me having anything to do with it..Jesus saved me..forgave me . forgot my sins . made me new.. giving me new heart..

But he doesn’t need a minister to say “give a $50 seed for your miracle “
It's one thing to say God CAN heal, it's completely different to say God WILL Heal. He is sovereign, he does as he pleases. & It is HE who does the healing, NOT some televangelist who just wants your money & could care less if you get healed or not.
God absolutely can heal but to tell people he will heal is dangerous false hope. There's nothing wrong with praying for a miracle and God may indeed choose to heal through that prayer but, to insinuate God not only for sure will everytime but the more money you give the more he will heal you is false doctrine. We don't get to decide when and who God will heal and we don't get to take advantage of others to promise Gods healing. He does so according to his will period. Nothing extra is required to make him our genie in a bottle. The true gospel doesn't work that way. I will throw in Jesus walked among the sinners and was never unapproachable. Not an island unto himself. And I'm pretty sure he didn't make millions of dollars through his ministry unless they reading a different bible than me
No one said healing doesn’t happen.
Would love to talk to Costi sometime. I was in Pastor Bennys choir and a partner of the ministry. I wrote many times to the ministry concerning healing reports that I received , but it was all because of Jesus not Pastor Benny. I saw Costi many times. I had miracles in my life but Jesus was the giver. I knew that I didn’t have to pay anything for healing. Around 2008 I didn’t attend crusades anymore. But in 1999 I had three months to live. I am thriving today

@@hisgracewali701 no they don´t hate blacks. Of course there are people around the world who does it and we have them in Germany too. But this is the minority. People in Germany are almost like People in England or France or in the US. Most of them needs christ.
I believe in both-God’s sovereignty and we must learn to have faith in him. I believe in healing, and provision. I believe in the prophetic and gifts. I agree that not all have those gifts.
Adorable! This brother in Christ is so sweet and sincere, I know it’s about false doctrine but the message to love your wives was very beautiful… sent it to my husband lol! I LOVE this Hinn! I went to Benny Hinn I’m Hershey PA, got carsick getting their and a migraine during the service… but my heart got really sick watching all those severely disabled children being pushed back home…. Years before I knew the truth by finding John MacArthur on here. Thank the Lord for real men of God, like this man!

THANK YOU SO MUCH: this is a real eye opener, and to think i fell for the prosperity gospel hook line and sinker. even had some of my family members leave hospital to attend the Hinn seminar in zambia, africa.. if we had enough faith...., we gave to the very least we had and later suffered the consequences of our Naive actions in the name of desperation- heal, needing rain and water for our dying crops... so upset with myself.
We thank God that He opened your eyes and revealed the truth. Let's pray that He helps u to keep yr eyes fixed on Him. My heart aches when I hear of so many that deceive but it makes me just want to crawl to the cross and ask Christ to help us keep our eyes fixed on Him alone.

i have been watching tbn n daystar and its preachers...n thanks to the Lord --- i landed in a church that taught me abt them and false teachers vs Christ truly followers. Also, I have prayed for those that are following and listening to prosperity gospels, false teachers of the Word, and for the Holy Spirit to open up their blind eyes. Still, i m praying for those that their eyes have been open to discerning tbn n daystar and teachers...
