You forgot to say that some of the changes to Survival were reverted back, namely the Flanking Strike and Mongoose Bite is just like they were before changes mentioned in your video.
Steady flight is an accessibility option, why is Blizzard locking that behind an achievement!? They did this in DF as well and it was stupid back then and it still is dumb now.
I don't get all the drama we've seen about the login screen, I reckon it's going to be something animated and they're not finished with it yet. If given the choice between Blizz spending their developers' time on all those UI and M+ updates versus a login screen vista, I know which option I'd prefer!
Wish they’d remove pathfinder. If we can do dynamic flying from the start - why add obstacles to the slower moving and easier to control version for players with accessibility concerns? Perhaps let pathfinder unlock a flying perk for all transportation types rather than unlocking a flight type some players actually need.
As a resto shaman i dont even bother switching to ele anymore for questing. That brings me to another point: they really need to re-balance questing: Outdoor mobs get one-shot by higher ilvl players which makes it nearly impossible to launch a chain lighting before they are all dead. Last i checked this game is still WoW and not Diablo. 😅😅
Im curious if they're going to let us select which scene is shown with the warband screen, like being able to choose between a tavern, campsite, faction city and so on. given how many hotsrpings there are in that new earthen city a hotspring scene with all your characters taking a break after all the questing would be cool.
Though it seems like if they did the hot spring, they would need to let us have our characters appear in their underwear or bathing suits to properly appreciate it. Like switch to that just for the login screen.
One thing that always frustrated me with the Shaman was that it took forever to cast a spell the first time. So often the mobs were dead before I could get a shot off. Lots of changes have helps over the years have helped a lot though.
PTR always makes me feel thorn between trying out the new cool stuff and remembering I'm gonna be playing the content for a couple of years so a few more / less days / weeks playing it doesn't change much in the grand scheme of things
True, you just complete the main campaing, level to 80 (which you will do during the aforementioned completing anyway) and explore all the zones. Not exactly hard.
It's likely to be an attempt to prevent botting. Although not surprised the modern playerbase doesn't care about that since they need gold to buy all the rewards in the game anyway, but still. At least blizz is trying. Somewhat.

wtf those Mongoose Bite changes. That completely changes how that skill feels. It's SUPPOSED to be a burst window. It's completely redesigning the core skill of the class so that a cooldown feels less awkward. Here's an idea: JUST DON'T HAVE COORDINATED ASSAULT BE BASED ON KILL COMMAND.
oh wow I like the UI changes/filters and the legend icons, glad they show all that in game. unlocking static flying doesnt seem too bad, im excited to quest through and explore all the new zones. as for the login screen, i think its a bit disappointing but i guess we'll see if theyre still gonna add more to it. the login screens have been a staple for WoW since day 1, its understandable why people are upset, regardless of if you only see it for a few seconds. its the branding for the expansion, and at the moment, its kind of lame :P i just think its crazy that the coolest login screens were the more OG ones (BC, Wrath, Cata) but now its 2024 and this is the best we can get? hopefully Midnight is better :D

That new login screen has got to be the worst login screen that has ever been created in the history of any MMORPG, blizzard does realize that when dragon flight came out with its grand city, on the side of a mountain with channels of water, running down under a beautiful blue sky people bitched about it and they added in Alexstrasza to give it a little bit more flair and you’re going to do this login screen as the opener to your bad ass world soul saga??? This seems like completely the wrong choice to go with my opinion.
Love the map UI / icon improvements, definitely going to use to manage objective better, especially when leveling, that's the time when we get like 50 quests and have no idea where to go first XD. NOT a Fan of the new Mythic system, but will have to try first to realize if the new modes work. For the classes, will also wait when the epxac releases and check out the official status then, I think it's still too soon as things are still being tuned and tested. All in All: very excited for TWW!!

That is so impossibly stupid. These should be moved to a daily profession quest, one which we should have had for ever at this point.
I like the M+ changes. Outside of the Obelisks in BFA and the Thundering affix in season 1 of dragonflight, I felt like the affixes directly made my dungeon experience more annoying.
Just as they made Living Bomb, my favorite spell, cool again and made me think about maining Mage for the first time.. they ruin it again. Great as always, blizz. 3 fucking targets, so lame.

I think it's crap that they are still locking "steady" flight behind any achievement but "dynamic" flight is just available from the get-go. So they are punishing the people who don't like dynamic flight and forcing us to use it no matter what until we unlock steady flight. What if I don't want to do the entire storyline in every new zone? I never do that as I level my first toon to max level. So now I will be forced to. Have they asked the community how we feel about this? If they have where can I go to add my input?
Buffing damages by 30% doesn't fix shit class design... I fear warrior and rogue will only see buff damages while their class design is outdated and boring to play...
setting pathfinder to be something you get AFTER youve completed the main story makes no sense to me. Regular flying is so much more valuable and fun while you are leveling up! It certainly should be available at the start and at 70 level, even if you have do something to get it....make it so you can get it at 70 and now youre set for your journey to 80.
I would like to see totems be part of Shaman play again. They haven’t been all that useful in a few xpacs now. There effects have been so minimal that I have skipped them entirely on my talent trees. It was a fun mechanic that was unique to shamans. Either a customizable totem bar like we had in Cata (I think) or have some abilities proc a relative totem would be nice. There is a lot that could be done to make totems fun.
These are decent changes. I still feel like there are things already within the game that could be revisited that might have been fun. Such as the Glyph system. There are so many possibilities for character customization it kind of boggles my mind that they have pretty much just abandoned it.
Survival hunter is basically a rogue with a stick, if i wanted to play a rogue i would just play a rogue. I like how hunters are the class with two shooting specs, and one rogue spec.
They are so terrified of letting dungeons stand on their own with simple scaling instead of trying to incorporate yet another system on top of it. They seem to miss the mark every time too -- you can't develop the game or m+ for the high end players you've gotta do it for the masses. That's how you get and keep customers. It just needs to be fun, and that's really it. The scaling is there for the sweaties to push themselves up against way past the rewards limit.
Blizzard must resolve how shamans have way too many two-point talents and not enough survivability. Maybe let ankh reset with raid encounters like every other major CD. Buffing or nerfing anything by 30% is an indictment of developer competency. Instead of remediating a degenerate hero talent for marksman hunter, they decided to also break the spec as a whole by nerfing it's AoE throughput by 50%? Leech alone has never trivialized healers. However, tanks overall sustain does. As a tertiary stat, players can only target about 2.5% from enchants. Something that actually trivializes a healer: subpar output. Like Discipline and Holy priests are in the beta right now. Both specs need tuning buffs.
I used to love getting maxed level on professions done as soon as I can after a new expansion. But with Dragonflight, I still haven't gotten the other parts done. So I just gave up on it. I liked the old version better.
Let’s be super clear: if you need to give a class a 30% flat increase damage, you do not know what you’re doing. I’ve all but quit, as a shaman main, waiting for patch notes that imply blizz has even noticed the issue. Hopefully they have.
Why people care about a loading screen over everything else in game is just beyond me. Also didn’t warrior got 30% buff to dmg too ? Why saying elemental got the biggest increase 😂

Flame shock, lightning bolt, earth shock/elemental blast, chain lightning, lava burst, earthquake, ice fury, frost shock. Let’s talk cooldowns: fire elemental, earth elemental, magma totem, totem recall, stormkeeper, primordial wave. Utilities: stun totem, astral shift, purge/decurse/poison totem, thunderstorm, interrupt. I’m probably still missing some. But 3 buttons? Come on…even if it was just straight single target, and you didn’t use any utility spells, you’d have at least 9 buttons to hit during a boss fight.
My thoughts with the 30% on elemental shaman is that it's probably to get some data on which abilities are being used how often and how the talents are affecting based on their usage. Lots of math data can come out of that that wouldn't normally be clear. Not to mention, if it's underperformed to a degree that a 30% boost is needed, lots of people might be misusing higher damage abilities to compensate.

With all the new accessibility features they continue to roll out, and as someone who doesn't like dragonriding, I don't understand why I have to do an achievement at all to get off the nauseating dragon in the first place. I hope they continue improving professions, I couldn't level them fully in dragonflight and was incredibly annoyed with this new system.
i dont like how they buff classes untill it comes to skilled hands and they realize how OP they made it. Beta testing should be a gift to tose players who "broke the class" by doing insane things in pve and pvp
what umean? i sit in valdrakken spamming my lariat craft 5k-10k per person. i could rack up to 8 person in an hour without trying. just afking. beat that with gathering show me. nxt time before u say bs go through your big brain first yes?
@@nonye0that is not a great example. The pattern is unavailable to most players between the horrendous drop rate (.13%) and not having the gold to buy it. Base line with the amount of time it takes to actually level up and get enough skill points to specialty craft at a consisent highest quality it is ridiculous for casual players.

I actually really like the enhance shaman as is, though it could use some touch ups, what i really need is a full elemental revamp, elemental is too reliant on maelstrom and procs, it’s just way too boring, give us some abilities that does not require major setup to actually do damage ☺️

challengers peril is a garbage affix. you're already punished enough for a deaths, especially if it's a full wipe.
I think a good idea would be to design your own logg in screen, fav toons, fav bosses mounts transmogs and of course which expansion 😂😂

Simplified shaman is all I want. Moved from Elemental to Resto mostly because the buttons were not fun to press anymore.

@@Akihito_Kanbarasorry man, you don’t play it correctly if you think 3 buttons is all it is. I have many buttons bound. Flame shock, lightning bolt, earth shock/elemental blast, chain lightning, lava burst, earthquake, ice fury, frost shock. Let’s talk cooldowns: fire elemental, earth elemental, magma totem, totem recall, stormkeeper, primordial wave. Utilities: stun totem, astral shift, purge/decurse/poison totem, thunderstorm, interrupt. I’m probably still missing some. But 3 buttons? Come on…even if it was just straight single target, and you didn’t use any utility spells, you’d have at least 9 buttons to hit during a boss fight.

My thoughts with the 30% on elemental shaman is that it's probably to get some data on which abilities are being used how often and how the talents are affecting based on their usage. Lots of math data can come out of that that wouldn't normally be clear. Not to mention, if it's underperformed to a degree that a 30% boost is needed, lots of people might be misusing higher damage abilities to compensate.

With all the new accessibility features they continue to roll out, and as someone who doesn't like dragonriding, I don't understand why I have to do an achievement at all to get off the nauseating dragon in the first place. I hope they continue improving professions, I couldn't level them fully in dragonflight and was incredibly annoyed with this new system.
i dont like how they buff classes untill it comes to skilled hands and they realize how OP they made it. Beta testing should be a gift to tose players who "broke the class" by doing insane things in pve and pvp

what umean? i sit in valdrakken spamming my lariat craft 5k-10k per person. i could rack up to 8 person in an hour without trying. just afking. beat that with gathering show me. nxt time before u say bs go through your big brain first yes?
And time gating professions, meaning you get strongarmed into levelling at their pace. A vary bad change.
@@nonye0that is not a great example. The pattern is unavailable to most players between the horrendous drop rate (.13%) and not having the gold to buy it. Base line with the amount of time it takes to actually level up and get enough skill points to specialty craft at a consisent highest quality it is ridiculous for casual players.
@@courtney4173 i have few other profession recipes that u can just attain easily, even by sitting in cities u can still get at least 5k crafting tips for people. easily. that guy about said just as much as gathering? yes show me lets see who spends the least time.

Really wish we went back to a more oldschool enhancement shaman. The battle-mage style now is not fun. 2handed WF procs was beast!
I actually really like the enhance shaman as is, though it could use some touch ups, what i really need is a full elemental revamp, elemental is too reliant on maelstrom and procs, it’s just way too boring, give us some abilities that does not require major setup to actually do damage ☺️
