I love these videos, and as a 188cm guy looking for a new bike they are very helpful! However, i am a little confused as to what your criteria are for when a bike makes you feel cramped. The Kawasaki look far more comfortable than the fireblade, what are you basing that observation on, any specifics? Thanks!
I’m 6ft8, started on Yamaha R6 ( doable but uncomfortable ), then ridden Ducati Diavel 1260S ( works well for this height) and now I have moved to Bmw Gs 1250. Its neraly perfect now, just need to do a couple of changes to get more open knees
@Vstar5 I ended up going with the Honda NC750X. It has plenty of room and it being a taller bike it makes it feel like you’re a (more) normal sized person. Comfortable, though (as with most bikes in this price range) it could use a seat replacement if you’ll be riding more than 1- 1.5 hours at a time
No this definitely doesn't apply to you this guy is about average height I think maybe his ego is telling him he's tall.. when you put your likeness on all the bikes and you practically fit that means your average...
I am 6'0" an about an inch to short for my Buell Ulysses but still ride it. Who gets the old wing without out the big cushy chair on the back? I agree on the M109 looking good. I find my wifes 883 sportster cramped.

My question is - *what is this program?* It's not photoshop, not gimp, obviously not paint, and it doesn't look like any CAD software I'm familiar with (those being AutoCAD and Inventor) - is it SketchUp? My friend and I are trying to get into riding and are planning to buy motorcycles in the spring. He’s 5’2 and I’m 6’5 (yes we do look ridiculous when we hang out together) he doesn’t understand why I’m already looking for a bike that’ll fit me.
That's great to hear Conor! If you head over to my channel home page youtube.com/@bikesilike or click the BIL icon you'll find a playlist of all the bikes I've covered in my Do I Fit series. @BikesILike Very nice video! I’m just the same size and want to ask, if you can do another video with some 125ccm motorcycles? Like a Honda shadow, Yamaha XVS, Suzuki Intruder, Magpower Legenders, Magpower Tennessee, Leonart Pilder, Leonart Daytona or some other chopper/cruiser bikes

These videos are incredibly useful. Thank you for making them. If you chose to turn this into an app where the dimensions of the rider can be adjusted, I, for one, would definitely buy it. In the previous installment you mentioned the Versys 1000. I'm 6', but with a, Hmm let's say "rounder" shape. I road tested a first generation Versys 1000 and it was awful, just awful.
Thanks CaptHollister! I'll keep the app idea in the back of my mind. I don't think a lot's changed with the Versys 1000. Cool but unfortunately this doesn't show a real picture. For example if you sit in real life on Honda Rebel and on Z900RS you'll fill the opposite of what you saw here, the Rebel is tiny and Z900RS is quite big and roomy.

Yeah the superbikes fit pretty good if you are tall. I had a 97 YZF1000 that was a good fit even with 36" inseam. Next year they came out with the R1 that was a smaller frame to replace it.
i think you looked best on bmw gs1250
My question is - *what is this program?* It's not photoshop, not gimp, obviously not paint, and it doesn't look like any CAD software I'm familiar with (those being AutoCAD and Inventor) - is it SketchUp? Looks a bit too 2D oriented to be sketchup I think.
So... what is this program?
EDIT: Nevermind, I just found it's blender under Part 1 of this.
Im tall 2m(200cm) do i fit of hanway furious 50
My friend and I are trying to get into riding and are planning to buy motorcycles in the spring. He’s 5’2 and I’m 6’5 (yes we do look ridiculous when we hang out together) he doesn’t understand why I’m already looking for a bike that’ll fit me.
That's great to hear Conor! If you head over to my channel home page youtube.com/@bikesilike or click the BIL icon you'll find a playlist of all the bikes I've covered in my Do I Fit series. There's around 250 bikes covered so far. At the top of my channel page you'll find tabs, Home, Videos, Shorts etc scroll across those tabs to the right and at the end you'll find a little magnifying glass. Use that to search my channel and find every video I've ever made on a particular bike.
If you have any questions just ask! I'm happy to help and would love to see you guys get into riding. 👍
Hi, I’m 6’2” with a 33 inside leg. I can vouch after sitting on a Honda Rebel 500 in my local showroom, that it is a surprisingly comfortable bike.
I’m waiting for the new baby 800 Africa twin to come out. Also I would like to see how you would fit on a Triumph T100/T120 please. Great videos 😄👍
Thanks Tony and thanks for confirming my Rebel 500 findings. Keeping an eye on the baby Africa Twin too although I've also heard it could be blessed with the Transalp title.
T100 and T120 have been added to the list!
great effort. very informative.
want to see how 5'8" fit f800r...
You'll find 5'9" on the F 900 R right here tinyurl.com/DIF-Videos if that helps.
The Suzuki M109R and the Honda Gold Wing looked the best and most comfortable fit.
Curious to know if you have done the Vulcan 900 custom? I am the same height. Thanks!
Haven't done it yet Brad but I will get to it.
@@BikesILike thanks! Too late anyway really as I pick my new one up on Friday 😅
@@vtwindad1549 Nice one. Enjoy!
@@BikesILike I will! And I'm from the same area as you as it seems. Ballarat Geelong area
@@vtwindad1549 Nice part of the world :) I like the orange and black colour scheme on the 2021 Custom, is that the one you're getting?
Could you do a 2016 kawasaki z1000sx with the 6.1" figure please?
Only focusing on current models at the moment Craig
Fantastic vid 👌🏼 subbed because of it. Looking forward to that 5’7 test fit in the future 😁
Can we make a request for 6foot4 rider? :) for YAMAHA SCR 950 ,cant try it, there is no in any dealer in where i live :)
Already Done!! Check out the 'Do I Fit' playlist featuring a 6'4" rider. th-cam.com/play/PLJgSla8UdWy0NdhgaMK7G5m7T0xvGgtjE.html
I'll upload a SCR900 video later on today. 👍
@@BikesILike thats great i'll be waiting, thanks and cheers!
@@LoneWolfMotorcycle You're welcome!
have you done an mt-10
Could you post the position with a Kawasaki Z800 (2014) ? Thanks. 🙂
I'll add it to the list 👍
Paul, please try the Yamaha WR155R it's awesome height-wise.
I have a theory that at any point where you’re knee is above the line of the hips tends to look uncomfortable. I’m 6’5 and my Suzuki m109 is close to perfect and so is my KTM super adventure, infact any large adventure bike will be ants pants for taller riders
aprilia dorseduro 900????
Doing this with catagories "Sport bikes", "Naked Bikes", "Cruisers", "Adventure Bikes" would be fantastic!
Thanks so much!
Working on it. You're welcome 👍
could you do it with the 125cc most common bikes?
Yes my plan is to cover most new bikes. Here's a list of all the bikes I've covered so far. tinyurl.com/DIF-Videos
So what's your jacket size ?
I checked the size of the jacket I'm wearing in this video and it reads 46/56.
Hey man. Can you do Bonneville T120? I'm also 6'1''
You'll find the T120 here. tinyurl.com/DIF-Videos
6ft10
Only bike i've ever comfortably fitted on is a 1300 pan euro.
Thank you! I have a new series covering riders from 5'3 to 6'4 you can watch those here th-cam.com/play/PLJgSla8UdWy0NdhgaMK7G5m7T0xvGgtjE.html
I'm currently working my way through all the road going bikes currently available from all the manufacturers. Once I have that pretty much under control I will start branching out to other bikes. I'll add your recommendations to that list 👍
@@BikesILike thanks a lot!
I’ve been looking through your videos and they all are good, but you only cover big motorcycles. I only can ride 125cc and searching for a chopper/ cruiser with my 1.9metre 😅. Hopefully you can find some of the bikes I write before and how it looks sitting on them as a tall guy.
@@50fiddy05 Ok thanks for filling me in on your situation. I'll start adding in smaller capacity bikes in the next batch of bikes. Just be aware there are currently 18 bikes ahead of them in the queue so it might be a couple of weeks before you start seeing them 👍
Im 6'4" 37" inseam. Can you do those dimensions?
My new 'DO I FIT' series videos feature a 6'4" rider with a 37" inside leg. You'll find all those videos right here. 👍 COMPLETE VIDEO LIST!! See ALL the bikes covered so far listed in alphabetical order. tinyurl.com/DO-I-FIT-Videos
i wish the yamaha tmax 530 and mt 07 were on there,im 6'6 and that's what I'm interested in because I'm not looking for anything to powerful
Keep an eye on my new DO I FIT series. I'll definitely be covering these bikes in future videos, there are currently 22 bikes uploaded and more coming everyday. 👍

great video... any chance of adding bmw R1250RS to one of the future videos
I'll add it to the list 👍
Thank you for posted this.
You're welcome!
I'm 6'9'' with full gear. So I just drive a Can-Am.
Such a funny solution, but hey if it gets the job done, then it's good enough :D
The question is not if you will fit on these bike. The true question is HOW LONG will you fit on them. Anyway this was kina funny and well done. I'll say you look best on the Tiger 900. Thx!
This is a great video. Thank you for sharing. Would be great to see a Yamaha MT-03 as well. Again, fabulous video.
Thank you, you're welcome! Have added the MT-03 to the list 👍
Thank you, great video
Thank you!
I have read the latest model has a comfortable seat but it still looks at steep angle to me. If I get a chance I'll throw a leg over one and check it for comfort and see how it compares to my 2nd gen Versys 1000. 👍
Thanks for comparing 2 seat positions on a Bobber, as promised! ;)
You're welcome Bond.
The Honda Rebel 500 looks a fit ...
Yes it does, which surprised me.
Great idea, video.
cool video, I'm also 6'1''. I saw you also did a video for the 2021 Ducati Monster. Lovely bike, but 6'1'' looks a bit too big. Just looks like there are other bikes that fit that height so much better. But again, it was the same with my mx-5 and still bought it in the end.
Thank you. I did respond to your comment on the Ducati video. I think you'd be quite comfortable on the 950. 👍
@@BikesILikebtw really nice work you have performed, nobody shows these perspectives anywhere else. could you also do Ducati Scrambler Nightshift?
@@VladInc Thank you! I have covered the Scrambler Desert Sled and Icon, you'll find them listed here... DIF VIDEOS Listed Alphabetically: tinyurl.com/DO-I-FIT-Videos Might give you an indication of size?
I will add the Nightshift to the list of future videos. 👍
@@BikesILike yes, i've had at look. i did a 'ducati' search on your videos, so easy to find. thank you, I really like the fit on the desert sled. would be cool if you want to do the nightshift in the future, maybe also multistrada 950. and there is one more idea, if you want to consider: it would be cool if you added a third pose, with the feet down to the ground and the hands on the bars, since this is how you typically wait at the lights. good job
This is a good idea and would be useful if it was accurate. But the shinbone in your simulations is way too long.
Would appreciate seeing the fit on Triumph Speedmaster. Thanks.
Added to the list!
plz make video for MT-03
Ok I'll ensure the MT-03 video gets made this week 👍
very nice, am the same tall as u r sir, please do the bmr r 9 T thx
Cool but unfortunately this doesn't show a real picture. For example if you sit in real life on Honda Rebel and on Z900RS you'll fill the opposite of what you saw here, the Rebel is tiny and Z900RS is quite big and roomy.
I think I'll delete these two original videos as my process has evolved a lot since they were made. Keep an eye on my 'Do I Fit' playlist for more up to date renderings. There are currently 60 bikes there and the list grows daily! th-cam.com/play/PLJgSla8UdWy0NdhgaMK7G5m7T0xvGgtjE.html
Rather creative. I'm 4 in taller, but still a good indication. Don't know how much you would compress the different seats with your weight in real life, though. But thx. for the vid.
The newer videos in this series now feature a 6'4 rider. Keep an eye on these videos as I upload a new bike every day. DO I FIT series playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLJgSla8UdWy0NdhgaMK7G5m7T0xvGgtjE.html
make another series for 6'5" pls :D

That should give you a good indication for 6'5" 😉
The Arch KRGT1 is the one I should buy... Just need to sell the house and a kidney.

Sorry little brother but 6'1 is not a taller Rider that's pretty much average..taller would be 6'3 and over
I know, I feel short standing next to a basketballer. But the average height for a male in the US is 5'9". At 6'1" I'm actually taller than average. 😉
thanks, really

I feature a 6'4" rider in my newer 'Do I Fit' videos which will be closer to your height. You can see the complete list of those videos here tinyurl.com/DO-I-FIT-Videos
Dude. Make an app and you will be a millionaire by 2023!
I'm strongly considering it 😉👍
I didn't watch the whole video but let me sum up "do you fit?" If you're over 5'9" you're not going to "fit" on a Vincent. Jay Leno is 6'4", do you think he cares if he "fits" on his Black Shadow? Just buy what you like and ride it. And if you don't know what a Vincent is, just move along to the next post and ignore mine.
Straight to the point, I like that 😁
Jay is 5 foot 11.
I cant believe you havent added the Hayabusa to the list. Just for the sake of it😅 Btw can you make size comparisons for very tall and very short people too?
Have added the new Hayabusa to the list. Will see what I can do regarding very tall and very short people 👍
I am 6'-5" and my old YZF 1000(Thunderace) fits me pretty well because of it being a large sport bike similar in size to Hyabusa.
6’1” ! Sorry mate, but that’s about one notch above ‘short arse’ .and I’m only 6’4” I ride a GS800 and a WR250. I’ve done a few mods on both of them to make ‘em a bit more roomy, raised seats, and bars, lowered pegs. Good results, for me. I read some comments here from 7 footers ! Wow ! Fuck your luck fellahs…
Tall....ehhh, debatable. Thanks for the video.
I hear you. 😁
This isn't accurate at all. The triumph bobber's wheels are almost bigger than your torso, seems highly unlikely.
I'll re-check this to make sure I haven't made an error 👍
This is awesome haaha awesome graphics, info and choice of bikes. Subbed! Awesome content.
Could you add the honda cb1000r and 650r and the aprilia rs 660 on your next video? You sure have to make a serie of "do i fit" hahah
