Me, I was born in 1960. And I love this music. It's hard to say what was better the 60s music or the 70s music really. So very many amazing groups from the 60s like the Stones ,The Moody Blues, the Bee Gees The Beatles just never-ending massive talent really. And I love the 70s with groups like Aerosmith, Kiss, Boston, Kansas, all those really good Motown groups. Just so much fantastic music. Music is the best what would we do without it ?

71/ graduated from high school, listened to my tunes/Craig 8-track cruising in my 66 GTO 389 V-8 6 pack carbs, hooker headers fat tires on the back, car was a monster! In 70 it cost me $1200. 28k on odometer. Never thought I'd see 30 years old so I lived fast and hard until 1988 at near 35 I saw that light. Too stubborn to die.

Hey ClayTamm, thanks for the nice compliment. Yes, we boomers enjoyed great songs, but youtube also shares these great moments for all to see and hear. Thank goodness. Back when I was a teen, we had to hope and wait for the D-jay to play or replay, over the airwaves, our fav-tunes. Sometimes waiting for days or weeks to hear it again. Today, tune delivery, is sooooo much greater. Just instantly. But ,no regrets. Just that technology was lacking then. 1953 was a good year for me. I was born at a good time. GPM-53.

I saw a concert in the park in Portland, Oregon, in 1999, with The Grass Roots with Rob along with Mickey Dolenz, and Peter Noonan headlining.

I saw the Grass Roots at a little venue in northern Minnesota. Playing a little bar in the woods with a big log amphitheater. Met a girl there and danced the night away. I remember this song so well from that night. What a memory of a great night and great music. Still go back to that time everytime I hear this song.

It seems like there are no rock and roll musicians any more. It used to be guys playing guitar, a drummer and maybe an organ. Now it's all orchestra and special effects. I miss the era of the Grass Roots. Geat band. Great music. And no auto tune.
