+TheSpedyBadger yeah, they'll probably sell a DLC with the chapter 3 or something, what a shitty thing to do, hey here's an unfinished videogame, pay 30 bucks more to know how it ends! (after the 20 bucks 1 mission prequel :D )
+Nite Waander He definitely took the piss there. How much time was there to develop that game? 5-7 years? No offence but with that "story" the game told us, someone could've come up with it in a very short time. Also the writing and directing of some parts is really terrible, mostly done by Kojima who credits himself in every mission the game has. There are plenty of videos explaining why this game was a big disappointment and that's why I won't do it. Whatever, either if Kojima thought that this would be good or he wanted to take revenge on the industry, hes not the man he once was, or we thought him to be.
+Nagito Komaeda so much of this, people think that Kojima is some kind of god that never fails, well that's a flop, nobody is perfect, he had 5 years if im not mistaken and this is what HIS game looks like, he wanted to do 5 chapters if i'm not wrong, and he did 1 and a half basically, in 5 years, you can imagine why Konami was pissed at him for being so late on his project, so yeah Konami is not really the "bad guy" here, and the story seems fucked up beyond recovery anywyas after the first chapter
I wonder how Hideo Kojima feels about MGS 5 deep down? Embarrassment or guilt. I've played MGS, MGS 2, MGS 3 Snake Eater, MGS 4 Guns of the Patriots and all were fantastic games, MGS and Snake eater my favorites. Every game got better and better in the series and then there was The Phantom Pain.
He was said to he big bosses best soldier with cqc almost on par with the boss himself and weapon handling superior to all the other other soldiers under big boss
@@chrisward3161 didn't venom got hypnotized by Ocelot to have all of Big Boss's memories and experience. That's why he was just as skilled as Big Boss.
@@3456halo keep in mind that muscle memory is a thing too, so if he's actually good at cqc without the memories and experiences it just makes getting used to them easier
So in the whole game, we play as the medic that was with Big Boss in the helicopter. This medic was left with shrapnel in his head and body, and he lost his left arm. To prevent them from going for the real Big Boss, they made a facial modification to the medic to look like the real Big Boss. All acted (Miller, Ocelot) to make him believe that it was Big Boss, then create Diamonds Dogs and Other Heaven, the new Mother Base, while Big Boss towards his own in another part of the world. The medic refuses to accept his real identity and prefers to be Big Boss for the rest of his life. In short, the SADDEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED
@@tanaywaghchoude7029 Did you watch the video? They both knew, almost whole time the story went on. That ending tape is recorded when Venom brings Kaz back to Motherbase and Ocelot tells his about the Big Boss' plans. And that's the thing, even though they are in same side in theory, Ocelot sides for the real Big Boss and Miller pledges alliance for the phantom one out of hatred for the choices that Big Boss made, like they said in the video - there'll be time they are enemies once again. And then whole lotta shit happens and.. The brainwashing thing is in Guns of the Patriot where Revolver Ocelot is now Liquid Ocelot, cuz he had to cheat the Patriot A.I, which kinda took him over.. (like he's part Ocelot & part of his... "brother") which in the end meant that Old Snake had to beat his ass up.
Undead Soldier still that kind of doesn’t make any sense?? The tape between Kaz and Ocelot was after MGS 5? It wouldn’t make sense if it was at the time when venom rescued him
I don't think people quite understand what was cut. The entirety of the ending audio tapes suggests a new island. That means a whole new area to explore and do missions with XOF on it, not mercs, rebels, or soviets. The ending battle would be sahalanthropus, but it would JUST be the boss battle. It wouldn't be Episode 51, it would be a whole different chapter in itself. That is what people don't understand.
khi coolblast It was Konami that cut off the Funding of the game and decided to kick Kojima Off, If chapter 3 had that much Content konami wont have any Budget to Spare
Kojima is remaking the first Metal Gear Solid game according to IMDB. That should be exciting right? Not sure how he got rights from greedy Konami but I hope it is true. Imagine the graphics it will have.
God can you just imagine how amazing that would've been? Venom along side his diamond dog soldiers, working together to fight Eli, you and all these soldiers you recruited fighting this boss, in the air and on the ground. I'm glad i know that this was the true ending but damn it would've been amazing to actually experience it finished.
Mgsv in a nutshell: some high level player gives his account to his best friend so he can make another one while his friend is using his older account,
That's the absurdity of early video games. Also remember that Solid Snake defeated Big Boss in MG2 with a FUCKING LIGHTER AND A SPRAY CAN. Beyond ridiculous.
The reason in MGS1 they (Liquid Snake and his team of Terrorist's) needed the Bosses body was because they needed Big Bosses DNA. They (Liquid Snake and Psycho Mantis) were dying and there body's ageing. They were looking for a way to rejuvenate themselves AND get rid of the FoxDie Virus. Psycho Mantis in MGS1 wasn't in the best shape too compared to back then as a very young healthy kid. He was old and severely scared/weak by the time David/Solid Snake met him.
+chewface One begs to wonder how he knew how to control ST-84 in the first place. I mean, sure, only a child and the occasional midget can use it, but...you know.
i know im a beat late (1 year) but if you still see this the cutsene were you see that you are not the real big boss is like 10 years in the futrue from metal gear 1 (i might make a chronological mistake not an expert)
@@user-jz4gg1sy4g Exactly. The Room is full of Weapons which would be the finished "old" Big Boss. Who's the Demon. And the Empty Room is were we are in the Present, or rather at the start of building Diamond Dogs.
That battle with metal gear gave me chills man that would have been an insane finale. I wish they completed the game and made full cutscenes of all tapes and EVERYTHING. Dang it :(
@@JayPannell Exactly. Honestly, and I know this is just a pipe dream, but since Konami obviously isn't going to be making anymore MGS games......why not hand it over to Kojima?
I bought this game months ago not knowing about it being unfinished, when I downloaded it and started playing I fell in love immediately. I’m ready to cry now.
cuz, i played it 2016, and came to the same point again just a couple days ago, and the crying is real again still. Now I'm here, because again, I need closure
Fuck me, the promise of a true jungle and guerrilla setting is so good compared to barren rocky deserts and drab depressing African lands. It would've been such a good throwback to MGS3.
i think this game was a 10/10 and it’s what got me into mgs, however it was unfinished. i 100% believe if it was finished it would be a absolute master piece and top 5 games of all time
sincerely salute to hideo kojima, big boss, solid snake, liquid snake, ocelot, miller, all the characters in mgs series. thank you for bring me the greatest story, gameplay, soundtracks for near 30 years. be seeing you, mgs.
That ending with Venom and Eli was actually quite heartbreaking to me. When playing the game, I knew Venom was different from naked snake, that he was originally his Medic (damn spoilers) So I found it somewhat morbidly funny whenever Big Boss' past came back to haunt his pretty much innocent clone, eg: The true identity of the man on fire, or the DNA test between Eli and Venom... And that got me thinking, what if Eli actually found out who Venom was? Would he then realise that Big Boss' genes weren't what made Big Boss, that it was instead Venom's dedication that made Big Boss? Would he continue to resent Naked Snake, and not Venom? Such a missed opportunity to see, I think.
+Punished Snake but there is, the guy with his face wrapped in bandages called Ishmael that helps you in the hospital is Big Boss. Just cus hes wrapped up and uses another name doesn't make it not face to face.
smellygoat well it's not face to face because it's like a disguise... so Venom is probably just as confused as the player when first playing the game...
it is mostly due to how he has yet to be at his bad physical state in MGS1. Now he is still young and his body is still healthy but in MGS1, as we see after beating him, he is not in his top condition and is bound to die from all his old wounds.
The order is: mgs3, potable ops (not important), peace walker, Ground zeroes and the phantom pain, metal gear, metal gear 2, metal gear solid, metal gear solid 2, and i dont know abuot if metal gear rising was first than mgs4 o mgs4 was first
Play MGS appreciate great story, play MGS2 have your brain melted by meta narrative, MGS3 explains why Kojima's world is hyper-realistic, MGS4 absolute beauty and wrap up
I want to see Metal Gear (The first metal gear game ever) with metal gear solid 5's gameplay, engine & graphics and a less digital & pixelated explanation to what happens to V & after, I know we know but nothings stopping anyone from making this....even konami even though they may milk it for every penny it's worth i'd like to see a perspective.
You know whats bullshit, we waited years for the game just to be slapped with no you can't really complete it. But don't worry we'll fire the guy instead so the games buried.
prior to TPP's release, the kind of ending I was hoping for and imagining was a recreation of the end of the original Metal Gear, a showdown between you and Solid Snake at Outer Heaven. Icing on the cake would've been Solid Snake voiced by David Hayter. It would've been the perfect dramatic ending, the kind of ending we always expect to see at the end of a Metal Gear Solid game.
How could I be stupid, Mission 51 is essentially MGS. The XOF soldiers are basically the Genome Soldiers, the island is a stand in for Shadow Moses...just imagine what kind of Chapter that Chapter 3 could have been!
"Don't blame yourself ... blame me." God, I love David Hayter's Snake, but I don't think he ever could've done better than Kiefer Sutherland for that line.
@@kyotosghost everyone has there preference but as much as I love david hayter, Sutherland did some good work in MGS5 with lines such as that, or the "i won't scatter your sorrow to the heartless sea" line. I still think David Hayter, for me is the real voice behind (solid) Snake, but sutherland nailed his role in this game as much as he could and imo did justice being venom snake.

I'm sad to see them all become enemies, but I think the game did a good job showing more of how Big Boss became the bad guy. I find it interesting that the whole reason they became unintentionally evil was them desperately trying to carry out The Boss's wish, which was world unity, while Solid Snake's philosophy was to find your own truth and pass on what you believe in. Big Boss, Zero, Ocelot, etc. all lost themselves trying to become what The Boss wanted when they could never truly live up to it or understand what she wanted, they were all good intentioned, but as they say, the path to evil is paved with good intentions. Solid Snake is everything Big Boss was, the stark difference was that Solid Snake didn't dedicate himself to revenge, or someone else's beliefs and lived true to himself to the best of his ability regardless of how he was used; Solid Snake didn't ever seem to have an ultimate goal other than to live how he wanted in peace, which is what he tried to instill in Raiden who was stuck in a similar situation. Solid Snake truly broke the curse of his heritage and found peace, which Big Boss sadly couldn't realize until his dying moments when he saw what he became, a monster of his own creation, bastardized by his lust for The Boss's approval.
I had fun, really, until they introduced the harder difficulty but the same missions. Metal Gear has always been about the story for me and TPP didn't really live up to its name.
+Yamanata yeah OK. the harder missions thing is stupid. they should a been side missions or something. but the story is definitely still there. even though skull face was kinda forgettable.
It's just a missing epilogue, if you measure all the content in mgsv, it's pretty SOLID. Let's not forget that mgs4 was degraded through and through but since they didn't tell, everyone assumed mgs4 was finished just because you have an epic fist fight at the end, while the story wasn't nearly as subtle as mgsv
I think the point of it was to make huey look like he didnt know what loss felt like. He lost nothing during the time after the peacewalker incident till the game unlike BB and kaz, so he doesn't see the reason to just let him suffer for no reason, when he was just there waiting helplessly for his death.
@THEREALGAMEMASTER-gz5xg Cyberpunk is really good now, but mgsv nearly came out 10 years ago, it's miles better than cyberpunk. That isn't crazy to say as most games from a decade ago and prior are far superior to the soulless garbage we get now.
+CJ Millard what sucks more is that the unfinished ending mission is actually the Canonical ending which metal gear solid is based off of. so if they dont finnish and release that as DLC its completely stupid lol.
+evorm Hideo Kojima isn't the ceo of konami. He's the director and brains behind mgs and was the head of kojima productions, which was owned by konami (a parent company) until they disbanded kojima productions.
Me too. I like how venom contrasts so differently from big boss, he holds more morality in comparison to him. Like with how he handled the child soldiers, instead of taking them in to work for him like big boss did with chico, he took them in as refuge and schooled them. Or how he worked to dismantle nukes instead of keeping one like big boss did. Everything that big boss did that was wrong in peace walker venom sort of does the opposite.
Well to late to do that cuz that scene takes place 10 years later eg: the outer heaven logo on the back right before he smash the mirror( look closely at the door at 29:42)and operation intrude n313. And by that time solid snake had infiltrated outer heaven and venom is going to face him
@@AstroZero Oh wow, I hadn't noticed this before. It seems its true, this was his briefing for the ploy to send rookie Solid Snake to prevent him from being discovered to the world as the leader of Outer Heaven.
Ciaran Statham Metal gear happened in 1995, a very long time ago. Venom was 63 when killed in outer heaven. Liquid said bb was in a coma when they created his copies, but he wasn't it was right before Peace Walker.
+Jamil McGregor The real big boss sent solid snake to infiltrate Outer Heaven, where he killed Venom Snake, though solid didn't know that that big boss was a phantom, for some reason big boss didn't tell him, then the rest happens. R.I.P. Venom Snake 1995 Also that mean big boss is still kinda of a good guy still, sort of....
+Rexinexus The "taboo" was the child soldiers. I'm convinced Kojima wanted to go out with a bang and go all out on his final Metal Gear, but Konami stopped supporting him. If he wasn't fired, this game would have been the best for years to come, hell, I still think it is.
It's so sad, I always felt there was more to the game, something missing, only heard about this extra cut content from a random kotaku article last week and this explains it! Poor Kojima, not being able to finish the game he wanted. Such a terrible end to a legendary series.
No, they're a MAJOR effing game company!! They KNEW that this game was going to cost a ridiculous amount of money to produce, and they HAVE to realize how much they just screwed themselves for future projects, with the huge fanbase they lost by not just working their BS out with Kojima... He wasn't blameless, sure... However, from a business standpoint they should've thought about their future, rather than whining and throwing a tantrum about needing to throw some more money his way...
Except they have been scaling back on video games for years. They wanted rid of Kojima, he is a talented developer but his products cost huge sums to create resulting in relatively poor profit margins. Since they dropped AAA games they have increased their profits over 230%.MGS was still profitable, but a shit business investment vs their other products. Sure its shit for us as gamers, but they dont exist to serve us, just create profitable products. From a buisness standpoint they DID think about their future, and they are making more money now than they ever did developing video games... Sorry but the reality is they did what was right for their company.
This was one of the most funnest games I have played in a long long time . The stealth aspect of the gameplay had originally driven me to it, but as I had kept playing the story is what kept me playing. (although not finished) This is one of my all time favorite story games. It’s a shame that there won’t ever be a similar game because Kojima left.
FreshCabbage not enough people know according to the storyline that mgs4 was kojimas way of giving the fans one last MGS and was intended as the last of the series. In my opinion it is the greatest mgs in terms of closing story. Too bad Konami screwed over Kojima mgs will never be the same again
@frank grimes Nobody said it wasn't canon. Its probably not canon for the legacy of Solid Snake and the Big Boss. But the story feels very canon to me. The enemy is trying to bring back The Patriots again after they were destroyed and bring back the legacy of Big Boss, They mention His wife Rose and His son. And even Sunny Emmerich, the adobted Daughter of Hal Emmerich and daughter of Olga Gurlukovich aka Deep Throat in MGS 2 is in the game. She even mentions that he saves her. Sounds pretty canon to me. Plus Hideo was on the project as well.
I have a love/hate relationship with this game, the gameplay is amazing, but the story just didn't wrap anything up for the series. None of these events really matter in the whole view of the series, it didn't show how Boss met Sniper Wolf, or how he became a villain, instead we have Skull Face. Who doesn't even do anything to affect the series as a whole. It could have just been so much better.
+loll115 If Konami (and whatever remains of the Kojima Productions on contract to the TPP project) managed to finish it, you can expect it as DLC, just like all the other things sneakpeaked at TGS 2015, the kicker would be whether as free or paid...of course, the latter will surely launch another round of "F-bombing" at Konami...
+loll115 the only DLC for this game is some skins for D-horse and maybe D-dog, MGS online is coming soon but as for story content, you've got more chance of juggling soot.
*Guys i have a HUGE Theory:* In the Song ''Nuclear'' in MGS:V they sing: ''The abondoned child'' Maybe MGS:V is the Abondened Child from Kojima, because Konami fired him. And thats why we are playing as ''Venom'' Snake - a fake snake, because this isnt Kojimas Metal Gear anymore, but rather Konamis. Thats why we feel, *THE PHANTOM PAIN* from Konami taking away Metal Gear and Snake. Thats why its not the Real Big Boss we are playing.
No its 100% the truth. Its the only explanation from mgs4 with snakes reappearance. Big boss never returned to mother base. He instead created outer haven in secret.
EricScissorkick I know this already... I know that Venom Snake died in MG1 and that we are playing as Venom, disguised as Big Boss. I mean MY OWN theory.
+GermanKraut When we see big boss again at the epilogue of MGS4 he still have both his hands intact it pretty much give away already unless Kojima screw up the canonical of the series.
God this was a good game, its a shame the series is gone. To be honest, this was a decent end for Snake...I mean Big Boss...or whoever he is nowdays. There is still lots of story to be had but without Kojima... DEATH STRANDING! WOOOOOOOO
But really the story has been beaten over the head already. The series should have ended for good at 4 in my opinion. And to think Kojima wanted to end it on mgs2
This was a terrible ending for the franchise. Should have ended it at MGS 4. A good as Peace Walker was, I would rather it hadn't existed so this piss poor sequel couldn't have made everything in that game meaningless. Literally the only thing that game establishes that MGS 3 didn't was Master Miller's backstory and Big Boss's first attempts at making Outer Heaven.
Glenn Davis Normally I would agree depending on the story. But this is Metal Gear, possibly the most story driven game series of them all, and this was the pivotal chpater. This was where Big Boss's rise to power ended and Solid Snake's rise to fame started. There's no excuse for messing this story up.
there are so many unanswered questions!! "Where's Quiet?" "What happened to the African kids?" "Is Ocelot really controlled by Liquid?" "Was the events that happened in MGS1, 2 and 4 planned by Big Boss himself?" "Is Sigint the real leader of Cipher/DARPA Chief?" and why... did Konami fuck us over?
The first time I went up against Quiet, the were enough references to say it was Sniper Wolf, but then she apparently dies after calling in a helicopter for Snake when he gets wounded and walking off into the desert. Now after watching this, it is possible that Psyco Mantis could have also saved her and she does end up being Sniper Wolf...
So a potential fifteen hours is missing from tpp, and I’m just as upset about it as everyone here. And with all the lore talk about mantis and venom, I am disappointed that no one mentioned how MG REX is the remainder of Sehelanthropis refurbished by Hal ... Otacon. Rail gun mounted on the right, sonar on the left, same cockpit, someone tell me I’m not crazy. Please.
7heHomelessKingJames of course Hal is nothing like Huey. Huey is a coward, and quite twisted by intellectual hubris. Hal was no brave hero himself, but at least we see him around the battle field until he is responsible for Sunny. And after making Rex, he dedicated himself to the fight against Metal Gears to atone for being involved with their advancements. What you said about Rex’s design makes sense. And I suppose that considering Liquid was so familiar with Sehelanthropis, it would make sense that his influence over Rex would help them to look so similar.
Hal used the plans that went in to Sahelanthropus, the Metal Gear conceits by Granin, Huey, and Dr Drago, but I don’t think REX is physically the same Metal Gear. We don’t know what happened to Sahelanthropus but we don’t appear to ever see it again after MGSV. But you’re right that Hal is nothing like his father. He touches on what makes him better in MGS2 without realizing it. He can’t comprehend why Emma would make weapons and contribute to his family’s dark history, and even he’s so determined to make up for creating REX that he forms Philanthropy with David to destroy any weapons that drew from those designs. Granin’s, Huey’s, Dr Draco’s, ans now Hal’s. Hal setting himself apart by trying to be better than all the Metal Gear designers before him.
Huh... Miller being killed by an "unknown assailant. Seems many people assumed it was Liquid Snake. But, this ending hints at Ocelot may have done it...
There needs to be a liquid snake game. I want to know more about psycho mantis origins and liquid and snake. This sucked because it wasn't the real snake so that connection wasn't there
Phorx I think that he knew what he was doing and how to connect all the loose ends with the rest of the saga with MGSV, but then Konami just kinda threw everything out of the window
Thank god I didn't even knew there were more than 46 episodes. Ok I'm out but overall, this has to be the most complex game franchise story and I love it.
@Nekksplitta lore says he was almost as good as big boss, and in peacewalker you can get soldiers that are even better than big boss, not to mention solid snake.
Damn that last battle vs Sahelanthropus PLUS your army and helicopter would actually make awesome sense for a real ending. You spend half the game collecting vehicles, tanks and upgrading your chopper for almost no reason, that would actually make it more worth.
The text ending was done perfectly I loved it it showed how everything went down venom had to start outer heavens revolution to show the world and cipher they weren't playing around anymore and send a message that they wanted a better future free of control free to be the Warriors for change they once both venoms and Big Boss's vision.Big Boss had to temporarily patch things up with cipher along with Miller to train and send in solid snake with foxhound to take venom and boss's former outer heaven down to build him up and shape him for what he would have to do in the future in Zanzibar land. Then Big boss knew he would have to face him also for if his revolution in zansibar didn't work Solid Snake would have to surpass him only if he was ready and had the skills too do so.then he would be prepared for the future that solid snake would have to endure. Then enter Shadow Mosses Ocelot has been supporting liquid and Miller as predicted had to rejoin forces with cipher for solid snake to be in foxhound and to train him so ocelot killed Miller and Donald Anderson aka sigint and then gray fox after zansibar killed dr Clark aka paramedic and then snake got rid of foxhound and finally Liquid which then setup for everyone's goal finally at the end of 4 no more patriots no more cipher no more zero all thanks to Solid Snake the next generation no more reminants of the age of cipher remained.

well not really all konamis fault. they gave kojima power n he sort of abused it. if you have an employee spending millions of dollars and he keeps delaying the game, not using most of the material they made so it goes to waste; you're going to get frustrated. you have to make a profit n thry feared it wasnt going to happen
I believe the production team when they say the game is finished as intended and I love it. Buuuuuttt I desperately wish this was the final canon mission. All this dialogue between venom and liquid is just wonderful.

Not just that Snake never used anyone the way the government used the boss and how big boss used Venom snake.

FreshCabbage not enough people know according to the storyline that mgs4 was kojimas way of giving the fans one last MGS and was intended as the last of the series. In my opinion it is the greatest mgs in terms of closing story. Too bad Konami screwed over Kojima mgs will never be the same again
This is a prequel...
The real ending is on a game that's not from kojima so that made it poor: metal gear rising revengence
frank grimes You say it's not cannon because it takes place after mgs4?
Big Boss is not a villain, depends on the prespective, he is just trying to fight the patriots.Remember the ending of mgs 4.
+ferri1508 I lost respect for him when he allowed Ocelots plan to use hospital people as human decoys I expect that From Ocelot not Snake

This game is still one of the best games I’ve ever played even after the cut content.
OH MY FUCKING GOD I WANT EPISODE 51 SO BAD
Please no
+loll115 If Konami (and whatever remains of the Kojima Productions on contract to the TPP project) managed to finish it, you can expect it as DLC, just like all the other things sneakpeaked at TGS 2015, the kicker would be whether as free or paid...of course, the latter will surely launch another round of "F-bombing" at Konami...
MwRYum fuuuuuuuuuuck u konami
+loll115 the only DLC for this game is some skins for D-horse and maybe D-dog, MGS online is coming soon but as for story content, you've got more chance of juggling soot.
loll115 SUCH A LUST FOR REVENGE
*Guys i have a HUGE Theory:*
In the Song ''Nuclear'' in MGS:V they sing: ''The abondoned child''
Maybe MGS:V is the Abondened Child from Kojima, because Konami fired him. And thats why we are playing as ''Venom'' Snake - a fake snake, because this isnt Kojimas Metal Gear anymore, but rather Konamis.
Thats why we feel, *THE PHANTOM PAIN* from Konami taking away Metal Gear and Snake.
Thats why its not the Real Big Boss we are playing.
naw this is just the final piece in the puzzle.
in the old metal gear games you kill big boss twice. one was venom snake
EricScissorkick I know, but isnt that a theory, that might be true?

+M Phylo Developers will not stop milking franchises anytime soon, might as well make the best of it.
+M Phylo some things just don't matter. not everything in a story needs a purpose. some things just happen.
"Where's Quiet?" "What happened to the African kids?" "Is Ocelot really controlled by Liquid?" "Was the events that happened in MGS1, 2 and 4 planned by Big Boss himself?" "Is Sigint the real leader of Cipher/DARPA Chief?"
and why...
did Konami fuck us over?
Quiet has the English strain vocal parasite and there's no way she can get it out of her throat alone, so yeah you can guess what happened next.
but didn't they have a cure for it?
She didn't take it, since revenge still lingers inside her as stated by Code Talker
oh yeah
The first time I went up against Quiet, the were enough references to say it was Sniper Wolf, but then she apparently dies after calling in a helicopter for Snake when he gets wounded and walking off into the desert. Now after watching this, it is possible that Psyco Mantis could have also saved her and she does end up being Sniper Wolf...

The phantom pain is one of my top 20 greatest games I've played; tragic it is incomplete, amazing story, amazing characters.
IKR people complain that it doesn’t have enough story but I really like the balance that was struck in the game
@@fommass1008 the game leaves so many open ends it's nice to be able to kind of create your own.
@@JyujinPlus I like making new friends. Thank you for your input. I enjoyed reading it.
Omg I’m a new friend I’m gonna cry 🥺🥺🥺💖💖
Otacon only developed the body for Rex, the weaponry was added by another team

Good idea

Huh... Miller being killed by an "unknown assailant. Seems many people assumed it was Liquid Snake. But, this ending hints at Ocelot may have done it...
Aaron Glass how lore breaking assuming Kaz was killed just prior the events to MGS1
There needs to be a liquid snake game. I want to know more about psycho mantis origins and liquid and snake. This sucked because it wasn't the real snake so that connection wasn't there
Ya but if you were to piece together peace walker ground zeros and mgs 1 2 and 4 you can already figure it out
Tf r u doing here
Karim is also looking for answers. Lol.
with kojima and fukushima out of the picture its literally impossible without screwing it up. kojima couldnt even survive well without fukushima
@Shadow blazer I prefer Venom Snake too
#fucKonami
maybe the last cutscene will be the beginning from metal gear solid 6
But Metal Gear 1 comes after MGS V TPP, so they kinda already have a sequel for it
***** i hope that kojima knew what he was doing by writing the story of mgs 5 and its end and by deleting the 5th end
Phorx I think that he knew what he was doing and how to connect all the loose ends with the rest of the saga with MGSV, but then Konami just kinda threw everything out of the window
The real sequel would be a remake of metal gear 1, with a plot that takes into account all the retcons and additions to the story so far.
Thank god I didn't even knew there were more than 46 episodes. Ok I'm out but overall, this has to be the most complex game franchise story and I love it.
I'm so mad we never got this game finished, THEY PLAYED US LIKE A DAMN FIDDLE
They played us like a damn fiddle when we thought we were playing as Snake all this time only to find out we were actually playing as the medic.
@@joetroutt7425 and the medic was somehow just as good as the best soldier in the game world
@@DiceRollx fax
@Nekksplitta lore says he was almost as good as big boss, and in peacewalker you can get soldiers that are even better than big boss, not to mention solid snake.
LMAO
I felt really bad seeing Venom Snake hanging upside down in the ambulance.
After all the advances in video games and they still have him AIMING OUT OF HIS EYE PATCH!
Then enter Shadow Mosses Ocelot has been supporting liquid and Miller as predicted had to rejoin forces with cipher for solid snake to be in foxhound and to train him so ocelot killed Miller and Donald Anderson aka sigint and then gray fox after zansibar killed dr Clark aka paramedic and then snake got rid of foxhound and finally Liquid which then setup for everyone's goal finally at the end of 4 no more patriots no more cipher no more zero all thanks to Solid Snake the next generation no more reminants of the age of cipher remained.
thanks! this comment explains a lot.

"Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg... and my arm... even my fingers. The body I've lost... the comrades I've lost... won't stop hurting... It's like they're all still there. You feel it, too, don't you? I'm gonna make them give back our past."

This game felt so unfinished before I watched this. Thank you!
When I first got to Skull Faces death, Snake Eater was still playing from the boss before. I cannot begin to explain how well it fit.
25:46 You can hear Solid Shooting
28:57 Operation Intrude N3131.
29:42 The logo on the door changes from Diamond Dogs to Outer Heaven
And V makes his way to fight Solid.
Why such a important part of the game was removed?
+Just Dante fuckkonami
well not really all konamis fault. they gave kojima power n he sort of abused it. if you have an employee spending millions of dollars and he keeps delaying the game, not using most of the material they made so it goes to waste; you're going to get frustrated. you have to make a profit n thry feared it wasnt going to happen
not very important at all really.
imagine that kind of war: snake with diamond dogs vs cipher vs sahaelanthropus
I'm mean Kaz vs Ocelot Kaz is a cripple and Ocelot has bullets that ricochet so i mean if they do war together RIP Kaz
It happened in MGS 1
I think liquid killed kaz out of hate or maybe oclet killed kaz cause he trained solid snake who went on to kill both big boss
I believe the production team when they say the game is finished as intended and I love it. Buuuuuttt I desperately wish this was the final canon mission.
All this dialogue between venom and liquid is just wonderful.
Wow the ending where the boss figures out he's a phantom and ocelot and millers conversation. All of that is real heavy on me
love the shot at the end of the still-standing twin towers while Eli says "It's not over yet."

ah... that does make sense in-universe, huh
