What a rendition of an amazing Cranberries song by the 25yr old Sydney artist CXLOE on Triple J's "Like a Version" this morning!! The original song by the late and beautiful Dolores O'Riordan, lead singer of The Cranberries who died tragically in 2018 is a protest song about a 1993 IRA bombing that claimed the lives of 12yr old Tim Parry and 3yr old Jonathon Ball. The song is iconic and intense and moving. It is a brave soul who dares tackles this song and be able to do it justice such as CXLOE has done. Such a beautiful arrangement and Dolores would be proud. 🙏❤️🧡💛" Incredibly moving. Thank You

This is one of those that I didn't want to like coming into it only for the fact of how many covers of this song I have seen, but it was great. The emotion was there. I feel like this cover distinctly was its own to some degree. Then you also have to realize that these are done live and while there is a good amount of professional mixing done, it was great.
