NV is definitely regulated and you must adhere to their R&Rs. I’m actually going to be in Vegas today visiting some of my VIP Coaching clients over the last few days.
UPDATE: I was just informed you DO have to go through the FNR via HCBS to offer private pay. Previously we were informed you did not. ldh.la.gov/page/3787

Great questions…there isn’t a home care survey in a non regulated state. There aren’t any guidelines to adhere to when creating your policies. You would create based on how you plan to operate on a daily basis. I will do a video soon on starting an agency in a non regulated state:-) We do provide policies, forms etc within our coaching program. www.MicheleLeeEllis.com
I really need some help. I have a client that wants to move in with me but I don’t want to be his overseer. I want to be able to get paid by the state for him so I am really trying to make a decision on how I should go about doing this it’s not that I’m making a decision about what I want to do for him because I want to do for him regardless if I can do this or not but I would prefer to do it and let him be my first client to where I get paid by the state and I need some help desperately in need of help. I live in Louisville Kentucky, and I need to know if there’s a regulated or he’ll regulated state and where do I start from there?

I would recommend googling to learn more. I don’t specialize in the service you are describing.
