Nice work. So glad to see someone on here using a C100mkii in 2022. I'm currently considering purchasing this camera for an upgrade to my 70D. What was your experience using this camera for a narrative short?
I think it’s a perfect camera. When I’m doing a short film, it’s usually only me and an assistant with no one else on crew. It has definitely helped me in those lonely situations. It also looks, in my opinion, extremely filmic and has personally helped shape my look and style. I’m upgrading to a BMPPC6K & a Canon C70 this year, but I’ll probably shoot a lot of personal projects on the C100.
@@sighlus That's good to hear. I was on the fence between it and the BMPCC 4K. I'm leaning toward the C100mk2 because it has everything I would need and the image is good enough for me who is coming from a coming from a 70D.
@@carldiamond4234 definitely go with the C100. It’s great out of the box. I also used to film with the Atomos Ninja (the old OG) and it allowed me to captured ProRes. It sky rocketed the quality in my opinion. You can probably find one super cheap.
@@sighlus That's good to hear. I've hear such mixed opinions on that combination (C100mk2 and the Ninja Blade). Some saying that it is a match made in heaven and some saying that the difference in quality is barely noticeable so adding it isn't worth the trouble. I think I'll go with the C100 Mk2 because I am usually going solo, and some sort of Atmos recorder because the extra data will help with green screen shots. Thanks for your feedback.
