I just came upon your videos. The boat looks like a diamond in the rough for sure but she has beautiful lines and looks like she has a lot of potential. I will be watching your following videos to see how things come along. Best of luck with your restoration project!
Thanks for video This year in July I also bought from Sweden - Karlstad from lake Vanern 32'boat. Sailing home to Latvia 700Nm, only two persons totally 8 days with two stops. 5 days nonstop sailing from Trelleborg to Riga.
Just came across this. Hope it worked out for you. You need to do these things when you are strong and brave. You look strong, courage comes from within. I wish you luck and success.
Im in process of refiting my janneau rush 31 since a 1 years and half so i really feel your pain haha.I know how tuff it is.But the satisfaction of good work done it great.I alsmost finish the inside insulation plumbing painting headliner wall i removed the diesel engine 2 cylinders 250 pounds.Switching to electric 10kw soon.I change all the windows starboard and port side i 5% tint them too look awesome and block the sun.Good luck captain.
Like her lines always tell a good yacht with a blow of the eye very much like an SS34 would improve her whale tale rudder with reduced skeg very balanced delight to sail easy on the autohelm Bon Voyage
Just looked at your boat. Keep up the good work. It is a lot of work and do not under estimate the costs of materials. I got a boat for free 2 years a go. 26 ft. Put some impression of it on you tube. Project 822 from booy1910.
The boat is roomy by 70-s standards but no so compared to modern boats. Headroom in main saloon ca 180cms. It's much bigger though than my 29-footer :)
Run away from buying a boat like this. Don't just walk away, run! Even if it was for free, don't take it. The amount of work, time and money that it will need is enormous. Whatever work that you think it needs, multiply that by 10. The same goes for the time and money that you think it will take. You could literally spend years fixing a boat like this up, and still not be finished. Please do yourself a favor, and buy a boat that doesn't need anything except minor repairs and is ready to sail. You will save time, money, aggravation and frustration. The only reason to buy a boat like this is if you are a masochist. LOL (but also seriously).
She is a beauty, that's what we love about yachts.
She is indeed :)
Congratulations on the new boat!! I look forward to the refit!!!
Thanks!

She is bretty. Like the birds of the ocean. Reminds me of a sparksmans and Stevens design. Except for the keel and rudder
I immediately fell in love. We will go to collect her soon and sail her to the new home. I try to capture the adventure as much as possible

What was the price? I assume/hope it's very low because there's indeed a load of work.
Let's say the price was affordable :)
