I'm so glad that you decided to get rid of that hidden tank ... you are gaining so much space under the cockpit, you might be able to make it all a real engine room ... remote mount the Racor fuel filters and a remote mount oil filter system to give yourself more room around the engine if you need to work on it.
Where I live now, i complain when its lower than 10 Celsius, where I used to live, anything below 15 Celsius was considered as cold. Thank you for making the videos.
Great looking boat and will be worth the effort. I am rebuildiing my Challenger 36 sloop except that I live in Papua New Guinea and to work in the quarter berth I have rigged fans and an air conditioning unit so I do not get baked alive. Love your videos. 🐟
Tere, I have just recently found your videos and I really like them. We had HR Monsun 31 for 10 years and I understand the amount of work and hours you using to refit the boat. Great that you can share this, I will be following. Keep up the good work and hope to see OE 36 in Kakumäe soon.
I know that feeling. What looked like a very big job at the beginning, becomes just one more task as the project progresses. You’re doing an excellent job on the boat and the videos. I’m working on a 1961 Chris Craft 17-ft runabout and a 1957 Martinac 24-ft cabin cruiser. : )
Have watched all your yacht project videos and enjoyed them. Given the time and effort you put in I’m surprised you haven’t got more subscribers :) I’m a new one . Cheers from the other side of the world .
Not sure why anyone would put a tank so far aft to unbalance the boat. At least now you have plenty of room and can insulate it properly. Looks like the rear quarter birth will be your primary access to your stuffing box. Good luck, you are doing great.
Thank you for watching and commenting! I thought about the issue of unbalancing. I think it is not so bad as it seems. The tank is only slightly over 100 litres volume. Yes the quarter berth will have hatches to access the area behind the engine
@@sailingsmalldreamingbig9022 I was thinking of your new fuel tank and how you were thinking of putting batteries on the shelf above the tank. Unless really well insulated that might get to hot for the batteries. Something to consider I suppose.
@@sailingsmalldreamingbig9022 Thank you. Is a nice tune, one would not think imeediately is actually a hymn but on more listening yes. In this case with to my ear a gaelic input.
Thanks for the realistic videos. They are very encouraging! I have been grinding and glassing in the bilge to install a new rudder.
Thank you for watching!

It's all relative, isn't it? :D
Going good so far. I like that you are not bandaiding over problems. Proper repairs take time but are worth the effort. Keep the videos coming.
I'm still in the very beginning of the process but I try to do it properly. Thank you for the comment!

Thanks! Good luck with your Challenger rebuild
Love your videos. You have a great sense of humor and adventure. Look forward to seeing your progress.
Thanks! There will be progress but you have to be patient ;)
Verry interesting to follow your work, you are doing a great restoringwork 🙂👍
Thank you!

Tere! Glad to hear from you, thanks for watching and your comment. There countless hours of work ahead before relaunching, though

"Gathering thoughts with a cup of coffee" Just right!!!
Good job :-) I don't envy you the cold... it is a nice boat though.
Thanks! One gets used to cold but I have to admit it would be easier to work in warmer climate :)
Great work ethic. I dont envy the task you have ahead.
Thanks!
Not too cold - minus 7° Celsius 🙈 I really enjoy your videos!!!
I'm glad you find something in my videos :)

@@everwind5691 Thanks for thinking along! This is really something that needs considering!
Well done.
Looks like you can design your interior any way you want to.
Yes this is the good thing
Keep dreaming..and building..everything starts with a dream!..make it happen.....John
Thanks! I do my best :)
You have probably been asked this before but what is the tune you open your videos with?
The tune is
Leaning On the Everlasting Arms by Zachariah Hickman

Do you own the company?
No, I do not
Have these boat refit folks not heard of cordless electric power tools?😂 I’ve seen so many channels and they seem to love hand tools!
