I admit I did the same thing a lot of fans did, counted them as a win, but as he was talking, I realized I really don't know enough about them to say that with confidence.

It's refreshing honestly in a media filled with utter cynicism to have major optimism somewhere. This is the offseason and everyone is 0-0. He's keeping that in mind, even if we know some of these teams are already realistically thinking about next year.

This team is holistically better than we have been. O line is much better, WR is disgusting, good tight ends, running group is dynamic, and Levis has shown his competitive attitude. Titans have a competitive defense. I truly don't understand why people think they will just beat the Titans lol
I said it in my main comment but its not that they think the Titans are bad, but that they're a ? team and those teams are so hard to judge sometimes its just easier to write them off and expect a surprise later. I definitely think their offensive line moves are going under the radar, as they not only got players to fill positions, but players that can switch positions such as playing both guard spots if need be. I don't think the teams in their division are necessarily that further ahead then them, though I'd still pick Tennessee to go no higher then 3rd in the division without something major occurring.
also the most important thing they've done is hired some great coaches. Something they've really lacked these past couple of years esp on offense
Vrabel kept that team competitive I think they are much less talented than they seem
@@dylanlagraves1266 I completely disagree, many of our guys have left and been successful on other teams. The problems were with the coordinators and training staff. We had the most injured team ever to make the playoffs and took the 1st seed that year. These problems didn’t go away. Vrabel played very good late game situational football, but that was just in close games. We struggled coming back down at the half because of our team design. The team is much more balanced and is under a much much much better coaching staff. The thing is the Titans are one of the few teams that don’t get media coverage. The cowboys can be mediocre but the country knows each position. But not every member of the cowboys is elite. I def think the titans are a 9-11 win team. We can receipt this for later, I guarantee we make a wildcard.

Titans lost 5 to 7 games last season by 1 possession. That was with bad coaching, personnel, play calling, etc. They only got better on every phase. I don’t see how people just think it’ll be a cakewalk

Although I agree with everything. I don’t agree with partially the cosching part. Mike Vrabel was an amazing head coach with an eye for defense and leadership. Getting the players motivated. Tim Kelly however was one of the worst OCs I’ve ever seen
@@imAubs99 vrab is a defensive coach definitely but being a head coach is something different an our offensive was so predictable it was time for change we have been a run 1st team since 🤔 Eddie George I like the change I just haven't seen enuff from Levis consistently yet to convince me he is the guy

Don't forget about them getting L'Jarius Sneed, who was the #1 lockdown corner in the league last year. If you're a team like the Colts, or Jets, or Chargers, or Bills, where you really only have 1 good receiver you're gonna have a rough time, because Sneed is that guy.
Titans are gonna go 10-7 as the 7 seed.

titans will be good, they have made huge coaching improvements and changes in coaching philosophy this off season. Anyone who seriously follows tenn knows they had a great off season. Getting rid of vrabel and his awful coaches was the best decision

Remember when the Browns got OBJ, Landry, and Baker Mayfield and played the Titans in week 1? Everyone acted as if the NFL threw the Browns and underhand pitch so they could showcase their new toys. Reminder: The Titans throttled them!
The Titans had to get rid of the ghost of Todd Downing. He was that bad. lol! They needed an extra season to exorcise that demon. It was Vrabel's fault he had that much leash in the first place.
No way to even know what the Titans will do. Looks great on paper but they could be terrible, great or anywhere in between. Won't really know anything until October rolls around.

@america1st721 Off of the top of my head, they have Sneed, Pollard, Cushenberry, Hopkins, Ridley. Those are all solid contributors, at the very least. I could probably name more if I took a sec. They're not bereft of talent.

This is a team I can see having trouble gelling early on, coming together mid season with some scrappy wins, then dropping some late games to hit 7-8 wins. For me, as I've written elsewhere, the titans are the most ? team in the NFL. And ? teams are sometimes the scariest to evaluate. Dads a Washington fan and he's made no bones about it, even if they compete they are likely a bottom 10 team in the NFL. The Titans could be that or surprise and be a top 16 and that's makes them a trap game for any team.

Houston is going to be a big hurdle for this team. The AFC South may have a tough schedule this year, but they'll all be competitors.

Think it’s more about just how overlooked they are despite them having similar to if not a better roster than the teams a lot of fans are treating it like an automatic W for. Nobodies saying they’re a playoff team.
Ran Carthon and starting with the Owner’s cooked, despite both tough pills by getting rid of Henry and Vrabel, this offseason was a huge turnaround for the team and culture as a whole.

first of all I've been a Titans fan from day one remember when the stadium was being built and how happy we were but the Titans are like the Ravens and the Steelers they are always going to be a pound the ball down your throat running franchise. The only problem with that is it's no longer a running league just like the NBA is no longer a paint leave with centers like Shaquille O'Neal. I do believe that they're finally turning to the passing game based upon the receivers that they picked up but they will always ground and pound and run the clock out never up by more than three and always comes down to the end of the game because they do that crap constantly. drives me crazy
They have pieces but Levis is the wildcard I struggle with guys that weren’t really good in college thinking they will be that way in the pros

2024 remember the titans
We don't know what they got with Levis but they have made some moves this offseason to try and improve the tools around him offensively. I don't think they are a sure win as many fans assume, but I definitely think they are a ? for a LOT of fans and teams. We don't know what we're getting out of Brian Callahan at HC and I think if Mike Vrabel was there at HC a lot of those sure W's against the Titans you talked about wouldn't be as sure, he made due with an offense running on scraps at time and put out competitive Titans teams. I don't see them as a playoff team but I think if that offensive lines additions get to gel this could be a team that gets some surprise wins this year. That's what ? squads do.
But yeah, a lot of that relies on Levis or Rudolph being the guy that helps this team take a step forward alongside Callahan.

I remember being super angry when the Bills took Ed Oliver over Jeff Simmons that year. BUT Oliver has been a very solid starter and in hindsight when considering the cap, we probably wouldn’t have been able to retain Simmons like we did with Oliver. As a fan of the game and the business side of the game (I’m a business major 🤷🏻♂️) I can’t complain. Both players went where they should’ve gone.
National media even covering the Titans is wild. No love for them almost never.
Watch out for these Titans. If you aren't careful instead of beating them by 3 touchdowns, you only beat them by 2 touchdowns and a field goal

Tony Pollard is really good but he was more a product of the Cowboys O-line. Derrick Henry ran over people. Will Levis has not shown he can lead an NFL team.

Yeah…I’d argue Nico is the best single receiver in the division. But as a unit, the Titans have the best. Diggs has regressed way more than Ridley and DHop. You’d be delusional to think Diggs is better at this stage. Dell will be better than Boyd in a year or two, just not atm.
