I know this. I know what kind of Team they had in 2023, and I also know what they have done in the Off Season to improve at so many positions.
I HATE that the Bears play the Titans Week 1. This Game just doesn't look good for my Bears.
This year's Titans Team is really good.
I think they make the Playoffs, honestly I do. The Titans SOS says ties for 21st, but that seems off.
They play most of their Toughest Non-Conference Games on the Road, OR in back to back situations.
They also play at least 4 Teams who improved greatly over the past Season.
I still see them getting in through the Wild Card, and once you get into the Playoffs, anything can happen.

A lot of our season rests on Will Levis’ shoulders. If we stay healthy and he performs we could go all the way, or we could end back up in the top 10

Another thing about Peter the left guard he had his appendix taken out a few games into the season last year
That easily had the biggest impact on his play. He talked about how he struggled to get back to playing weight after the surgery.

Titans fan here. Go my team. I am incredibly seriously biased about my team with unreal expectations and that is why we are going to win the Super Bowl when we upset the Giants this season.

1) Emotional couple of years for Titans fans, but man a GM with a vision and personality as transparent and future-focused as Ran’s is unbelievably refreshing and almost impossible not to buy in to
2) Roger needs more spotlight, paired with Chido, Sneed and Hooker it might be the most physical/in your face DB room in the AFC
3) Appreciate the diligence and flowers for Skoronski, have been hearing that he was “just not great” last year with national media ignoring the fact, along with many others you did mention, that his appendix ruptured at the front end of his rookie season and he lost almost 20lbs
4) Tyjae is indeed electric. I think the lightning & lightning duo of him and Pollard will give him more opportunity to succeed than the thunder and lightning duo of him and The King (God rest his soul)
5) Murray (and LB room in general outside of Dr. Gibby) concerns us too, but the headhunter vision for K9 Dennard and Ran have advocated for seems promising if Cedric has a smooth transition
6) I hope Mayo man works out, and that is definitely the main goal of the season outside of him not being hospitalized, but with how this roster is being rebuilt it’s relieving to know it’s not as dire a situation as the pre-Mariota era
7) It could be worse, at least we’re not the Jags 🤷♂️
Also, regardless of our record, the AFC South is going to be fun as hell to watch for the next couple of years and this division as a whole (outside of the Texans) might be the most underrated group in the league. When was the last time we’ve had 4 above average QBs all under the age of 26 in one division?

As a titans fan, I don’t even fear them. They made some good offseason moves but not enough to be a threat. Give it 2-3 seasons, then maybe the titans will be feared, but not this year. We’re still rebuilding. I think the moves accelerate the rebuild though

Good points about the increase in talent at multiple positions. But you didn’t address the elephant in the room. You mentioned at the end that 2024 will be about development of Levis. However, you didn’t offer any insights into how that might go, or why. Otherwise, fair assessment.

Every season we go through this phase where it seems almost every team gets better in the offseason. The Vikings, rams, ravens, and bucs are the only ones I can think of that got worse. Realistically not every team can finish with a positive record and a playoff appearance. I think the Titans are a team we can all acknowledge improved a lot in the off season, but will inevitably come up short during the regular season, just purely because the competition was better than them.
Mike Mularkey had a winning season and in my opinion was one of most underrated coaches when he suddenly built a great team and got canned for Vrabel. This may have been my turning point in hoping for a great Titan team. In other words, Vrabel rode on the contrails of a great coach. I am still hoping for better for this organization.
Life long Chicago Bears fan here, and I just wanted to say that the title of this video is 100% SPOT ON!
NFL Fans generally know who theie favorite Team will play the following season well in advance, but we do not know the WHEN and the WHERE until the real Schedule is released.
I knew we would be playing the AFC South, but when it was revealed during the Schedule release that we would have to play the Titans Week 1 AT HOME, that immediately set me off.
Look, I know the narrative very well...
"Chicago hasn't had a good QB since the 1950s".
"Chicago has NEVER had a QB throw for 4000+ yards ina si gle Season".
Now, we get this golden opportunity to Draft a kid who could be, and I stress "COULD BE" the answer at QB, and we open at home with the Titans.
I absolutely HATE this game for my Bears. Don't get me wrong, I have confidence that this Bears Team is going in the right direction. However, the Titans really are about the worst team to start of his Rookie Campaign with.
See, the "experts" are picking the Bears to win mainly because of our Defense, and because its a Home Game.
Well, if you look at Rookie QBs and their records at Home...
They are NOT GREAT. Especially Game 1, where Rookie QBs only win at about a 37% rate.
Thats already not good.
Then add in the FACT that the most underrated, vastly improved Team from this Off Season is...
The Tennessee Titans.
The Titans match up well with just about any Team. The Defense should be Top 7 or 8, minimum, and the Offense will be better now that Levis has a season under him. The WRs are good, and even losing Henry isn't going to affect the Team as much as some "experts" think.
I hate this game. I sincerely would have rather we started in the Road, and against someone like the Panthers or Saints or even the Bucs or Chargers.
Even as a life long Bears fan who is extremely hyped for this season, my prediciton is...
Very close, back-and-forth game until the 4th Quarter. Titans pull away, their Defense stops the Bears mounting any kind of comeback.

I think this game could go either way since yeah Caleb’s a rookie, but no one really knows what his NFL game looks like. Preseason gave glimpses but so much is kept under wraps then. Additionally, everyone thinks we’re(Titans) trash due to history and our small market but I think the Titans will surprise some people. It’s gonna be an exciting matchup this weekend

I had to go downtown during their playoff game with The Bengals. The ratio of Bengals jerseys to Titans jerseys was 30-40 to 1. There wasn't a Titans fan in sight. It was pretty sad.
I went to that game. I took my mother, who’s getting up there in age. Bengals fans knocked into her and spilled beer and didn’t even apologize. Bengals fans might be worse than the Ravens.

That afternoon, I was stunned. The Titans had such an epic season. They still had AJ (Thank you, Titans). King Henry was in prime form. Yet, when I was downtown hours before the game, I pretty much knew the Titans were cooked. No energy.

Wish Vrabel would’ve been our DC but offseason was arguably best in the league and nobody is old which is the best part

Good video! I am bullish on the Titans coming into this season. I agree with you; I do think that they will be very much improved. Even if it could end up not necessarily showing up in the win column, I think that they will be a team that nobody will want to play when they see them coming up on the schedule. I do like the defense that they have built in the off-season, and the attempt that they made to improve their wide receiver room. Man, if you had a receiving trio of D-Hop, Calvin Ridley, and Tyler Boyd just two or three years ago, then you would have had arguably the best wide receiver group in the league! 😂 Jokes aside, I think that they've made an effort to try to give Will Levis the skill position assistance that they may need. The AFC South looks like it will be tough this year, but, I can see the Titans as being a sleeper for that last wild card spot, if things come together for them and they get decent QB play.

I kind of disagree when you say a late round pick has a chance to make the team. Teams don't really draft players with the intent of cutting them. Most draft picks are in positions of need and they usually sign a multi year deal
Late round picks are also valuable for special teams. A great GM will get the most value from later rounds in order to work the cap better.

Tennessee should of traded Burkes and kept Moore, Moore and Ridley as deep threats D Hop as the mid and Boyd underneath we could of been very deadly with the passing offense and not even mentioning Spears out of the backfield

offenses are majorly dependent on the oline and the titans do not have a very good one. those weapons are also pretty middle of the pack and you have no clue what Levis is gonna give you this year

Mason Rudolph is the best QB on the Titans Roster. The Steelers made the same mistake by not starting Mason in 2022 and 2023.
They now have one of the best Receiver Core Duos, The Best O line Coach, And the best Cornerback Duo. The only thing I hated about their off-season is they couldn't keep Henry
They were never gonna keep him with his age. Theyre in a “be a contender in a couple years” and hes in a “superbowl now” mentality. Unfortunately he is too old to be able to wait for them to finish their build

Tony pollard has shown to be really good with another good HB working with him and spears is good enough to share the load.

On paper, the Titans are 5th or 6th worst team in the NFL. They made average moves in free agency. Talent wise, they're in the bottom third of the league. That's reality... That being said, it's the NFL and every year a team in that state makes a miraculous turnaround. Look at the Texans last year and the Lions the year prior. Will Levis will have to make a leap to a top 10 QB for that to even possibly happen. I don't see it, but hope springs eternal. The clickbait title that nobody wants to play the Titans is ridiculous though. I feel their ceiling is 8 or 9 wins and it would take a collapse from the Texans, Colts, or Jags for them not to finish last in the division.

@@Unknown17 I too live in AZ, you clearly don’t follow the team and the dynamic surrounding it enough. Kyler has never had a real HC until Gannon and never run a Pro-Style offense. This will be the first time he has that. He has questions, but I am confident he will answer them this year as well.

There is something that really irritates me that I have to mention. Doesn't really apply to the purpose of the video. All we have heard about certain teams in each sport since the Redskins became the Commanders is the overly sensitive PC Police whining and calling for changes with multiple teams. Basically if they can somehow take a team name and even tentatively connect it to Native Americans than they call and whine for change. The double standard is infuriating. In baseball is where the next team was to fall when the Cleveland Indians were pressured and bullied into changing their name. This video shows exactly what I point out to these people and their hypocrisy. Where as the Indians had long since removed any imagery, not one person has bitched about the Vikings. This is the exact same situation as the Indians. Both are terms for people from a certain part of the world. The Vikings still use a logo of the most stereotypical caricature of a "Viking" as possible. Even down to the big nose, blonde braids, hell even the metal horned helmet. So why is it this doesn't spark controversy and calls for change? Well because they happen to have the one skin color that apparently it's ok to be racist towards. If one is racist and wrong than both have to be. Hell the Vikings even have a guy dressed up as their version of a Viking ride a harley onto the field before each game and no one makes a peep. Now that the PC police got to feel important now they've moved on to new targets and one of the biggest is the Atlanta Braves. Don't even get me started on that. Dictionaries may not really be a thing anymore but the app is and a 2 second search would show that the definition for "Braves" doesn't mention Native Americans or any other specific race once and that's putting aside the obvious matter of Braves being a compliment. It amazes me that the Braves are being singled out yet everyone is fine with the Yankees? It's flat out crazy. If Braves is racist than I guess we will need a new National Anthem "...and the home of the BRAVE".
I like to point out all these morons that the only people being racist is them as the local Native American community has embraced the team and has no problem with the name and honestly why would they? They are smart enough to know what the name means. So it's these people of other races crying racism that are being racist towards Native Americans by saying "Oh these poor uneducated people, they don't know enough to know when they should be offended so we will tell them. By the way saying Braves is insensitive is the same as saying the Warriors or Titans are as well.
