@@Wired2Fish living on the edge throwing it on fluorocarbon unless your throwing it in all open clean clear water with no lay downs or snags around. If not you definitely want that braid to pull an straighten out a hook or two to get your rig back.. but to each is own!! Not hating... If it works, it works!!. Stay safe and tight lines.
Instead of a 1/4, I use 3/16 and 1/8th's!! In Alabama we can use all 5 hooks I put 3/16 on the bottom 2 and then 1/8 on the top 2 and the middle wire.. been throwing it that way for YEARS. It's a staple down here year round but especially from the middle of the fall into all winter up into pre-spawn! But I've even flipped a-rigs between docks on those stretches of old wooden docks that are all close together. Literally throw it up into the dirt n pop the rod getting it up and the blades spinning fast an then slow rolling it back to the boat. I caught my P.B on my home lake ,(Logan Martin) doin this. Found this technique by accident. The wind was blowing so bad that day and we were going down a stetch of docks, we would pass them, turn the boat an let the wind push us down back last the docks an that's when we flipped the A-rig between the docks getting reaction bits by throwing it up super super shallow an then snapping it up, it was usually on the jerk getting it off the bottom and getting the blades turning when we would get the bites. I caught an 8:14 that day and for Any lake that's a monster but for my lake in particular that's a mega monster. Especially since that lake is over ran with coosa spots. There are plenty of large mouth in the lake but the spots thrive in any weather conditions so it's not that common catching a big head in that cold cold march weather. Cloudy, windy, cold as a witches titty and I discovered a technique that I've never seen any other anglers do except myself and my cousin who was with me that day. We had over 20 pounds that day! Very very special day. Love when that memory comes across my Instagram feed.. 🎣🎣🎣💪💪 stay safe tight lines
Bought an A-rig last year and it hasn't seen the water yet. Maybe bring it along this weekend. There's no easy way to store it without having to bend it back straight every time so I never think to bring it with.
Thanks man. Closest I got is a St Croix Legend LB74HF. I'll give it a shot at Lake of the Ozarks this week. Thans again!
Hadn't got bit on the A rig yet but this year only threw it some early this year. Glad to know I use the right setup thanks for the video
You bet!

Exelente arreglo, felicidades por su video amigo, saludos.
Can you use fluke style soft plastics?
What is the advantage of using fluorocarbon line over mono or a co-polymer line?
Why wouldn't you want the two heavier ones on bottom? Seems like that would keep the rig balanced better.
Do a how to fish flooded water next please
Sangat bermanfaat👍, Terima kasih atas ilmunya pak de
Yesterday, I caught an 11 1/2 inch bass on the A-Rig and a 19 inch bass on a ned rig. 🤣
Why do you take the blades off the A-rig. It would be much easier to just buy a second one without blades on it and use it if needed.
Not gonna give a fav channel a thumbs down...but nope, never.
