Good video! Many people forget the angle change and twitching! What are your favorite swimbaits? I like the largo shads if they will hit it over kietech because the stiffer plastic lasts longer and is less likely to hook its own tail and foul up the cast.
Another trick when fishing around, cover it to remove exposed jig, heads, and replace with 3/0 round band warm hooks then you Lures can be rigged weedless
I was going to buy one of these rigs but I found out that my state has a two-hook limit tied on my line, so I just opted for the donkey-rig/fluke-rig with the two rear-most baits having hooks and a third bait that's held on with just a screw lock to give more of a natural schooling bait fish look.
Hey I have a 7ft med fast rod thats rated to throw up to 1/2 oz, and a graphite reel with 12lb line. I am looking to try a finesse jig. Would that be able to throw a finesse jig or will it not work. (in midwest if that matters)
You CAN get away with it, you’ll just have to set the hook a bit harder. Ideally you want a medium heavy. Are you using casting/spinning? Daiwa makes great budget rods (Laguna/Aird-X)
I do the same patient a lot of stained water and I will throw this A ring, but I will go with a little larger baits and brighter one especially the center target one
reel twitch...break cadence...snap the rod tip....burn it then pause. Blades on sunny days...no blades on overcast...minnows flash brighter in the sunlight...right?!
I have used weightless screw lock hooks with success in shallow water, but I would try dropping down on jig head weight first as you get a lot of slashing bites that you will miss without an exposed hook.

What jig heads do you use for your A-rigs? Great video!

Instead of that, you could buy a sibiki rig and split it in 3. Just a suggestion
Would you dip all of the tails or just the center one?
Just the center, gives em something to lock in on
