I love the escalation in this Mogo is like a secretary but the first time I saw Mogo was in the green lantern cartoon where he was like the death star shooting lazers and killing everyone

I've always thought the four human lanterns should divert amongst the sector and corps. John Stewart works with JLA, Hal Jordan leads the Corps, Kyle goes and defends sector 2814 (not just earth) and Guy can be the loose canon either working with Kilowog in a buddy cop style or he stays a red lantern. Guys always been my least favorite GL so I wouldn't mind seeing him switch sides and stay there. I really liked when Guy became red and Kyle became blue
Every time I hear about the Guardians, I just remember Ganthet’s first appearance where he explains that some of his people have lived on Earth and are called Leprechauns.
And a movie franchise was made, which in turn forged the greatest line of all-time: “Fuck you, LuckyCharms!”

Fantastic book, my favorite for the run and one of my favorite comic books ever. I've read it 17 times.
Well it makes sense to why when you get possessed by Parallax your hair gets a little white. He's the embodiment of fear you see. And isn't there that thing when you get scared to death your hair turns white in real life. Makes sense I guess. And the thing with the Sinestro Core...he rules it with an iron fist cause they either respect him 100% or fear him. It's only when Mongul gets a yellow ring and tries to overthrow Sinestro, some members turn on him.

This was funny as hell, but just gonna correct you on a thing at the end: Ganthet and his gf make the Blue Lanterns, not the Indigo Lanterns. Abin Sur, if I remember correctly, is the one who created the Indigo Lanterns.

Last time we saw Kyle, I believe, was when he tried to bring the Blue Lanterns back to life and subsequently lost his white lantern powers.
what I love about this book is Coast city "the City without Fear" just great.
There actually is a Predator AND an Alien in the Sinestro Corps in the background as easter eggs. They're pretty cool

Also what's funny is its established later in Darkest night or Brightest day that Oa is in fact not the center of the universe, Earth is, and the guardians lied to raise their status in the universe which is hilarious.

Okay, regarding Superboy Prime: from what I remember the Guardians sent him to his original home universe, aka 'our universe'. He sees his girlfriend and his parents, and they're all scared of him/hate him. They read the comics. He then spent his life in his mother's basement arguing with people on the internet. DC made him even more like fans of the assholish variety (although I still take offense to it since he originally represented every fan, and what they did to him sucks). The question is whether the Guardians let him off easy, or if this was a fitting punishment.
My first GL comic was Green Lantern #1 from the New 52 with Sinestro on the cover as a Green. Yes, he's the #GOAT. #GGLOAT?

This run on Green Lantern at least to me is the definitive version of the Green Lanterns story. I truly am not a Geoff Johns fan mainly for the fact I find most of his work extremely overrated. But this run is amazing. Bought all three of the omnibus when I had enough.
Perfect way to end a 10 hour shift. Plus I got the trades at home to refresh. Boom.
