I actually take issue with saying Wonder Woman getting the Violet Ring is lame. "She got it because Woman" is bullshit. Wonder Woman's entire character was built on love and peace. Her getting the Violet ring makes the most sense in the world.

One of my favorite OH SHIT moments in this whole event is when they resurrect the original swamp thing and have him fight the black ring version. Also I don't mind WW getting the star sapphire ring since the non-psychopathic version of WW(my version) is suppose to be loving of Earth and all those who live on it.
I haven't been back to this episode in like 5 years, I just re-read Blackest Night enjoyed it so much and then thought of this great episode. Sal's expression at 6:17 is one of my favorite moments ever for Comic Pop this episode is just pure gold.
I love this series! I noticed the werewolf thing at about 14 minutes where the hands change but only just now realized that the bandage from the beginning was because of the werewolf bite. :) I really like the line "It's because I'm Italian" that was awesome. I don't know why I liked the cheesiness as much as I did but I did so yea, well done.
Oh but now with Rebirth it's explained that all of the continuity did happen so that's how it could have happened in New 52, but all the characters had memories taken from them so none of them really remembered the lead up to Blackest Night, but how could certain characters come back then... my head hurts lol. Love comics! And love what you guys do!
I can't believe you guys are doing Blackest Night on back issues. It is my favorite comic event I have ever read. Funny thing is back in college my friends and I went to a small con. One of the free things I pick up while there was a preview comic that had all the lantern corps in it. I was so fascinated by them I researched Green Lantern comics which lead to this book and my love of Green Lantern and Geoff Johns.
William shooting himself in the head is one of those images that will just stay in my mind forever. Also was kind of disappointed that Scarecrow got a yellow lantern ring and they didn't do very much with it. Still a fantastic read nonetheless and has made me more interested in the Green Lantern side of the DC universe then ever before

Wonder Woman being a Star Sapphire makes perfect sense. At her best, she always makes an effort to love and understand everyone, even her enemies, no matter how evil they are. Loved the video but being a huge Green Lantern fan, you didn't mention Guy or John at all and only had one mention of Kyle. They are pretty key to the story. I know most of it takes place in GL: Blackest Night but I think the rest of the Lanterns of 2814 are important enough to get noticed.

Brightest Day Justice League Generation Lost was a great series imo dealing with Maxwell Lords resurrection. I remember also enjoying Brightest Day The Flash!
It was really a big missed opportunity not bringing everybody back. It was a good story and DC could be use this story for relaunch instead of universe changing reboot. Actually Alan Moore's prophecy was about his Twilight of the Gods story but the deal didn't go throug. Instead the ideas used for this story and Kingdom Come.

Blackest Night was my VERY first foray into DC I had no idea who anyone who weren't flagship characters were, but it was SO GOOD I loved it
