@@Sandbeard bs, when Shane put the head down, it wasn't even close to being straight on the doll. Even in the head had some sort of magnetic way to put a head back on, it couldn't have reattached by itself.
The encounter with Rose (or at least the entity in that room) was one of the most compelling investigations I’ve ever seen, with how responsive and active it is. It didn’t seem hostile, rather hesitant.
Well goddamn if you stay wheelchair bound in the afterlife that sounds like a rip off. Plus some wheelchair users can walk, just not long distances necessarily.
So true. on unsolved the first time at sallie house nothing really happened besides flash lights turning on n off. But the second time they went. It seemed like even though they were still intimidating the spirits. the spirits were comfortable with them and honestly gave them way more than most investigators. Like the whole time the spirit box was nonstop talking, the sallie spirit laughed at their joke, the spirits were poking fun at their drawing. Even when they asked if they are the best investigators the flash light responded correctly immediately both times they asked. It seems none of these spirits here in this episode were bad people they just died in a sad way and can’t move on because how shitty their last months on earth were. I doubt the guy with a lot of anger is angry at people. Probably over the fact he’s stuck where he is.

Rose's skeleton hand moving towards the flashlight each time she was told to turn it on or off has to be the most convincing evidence Shane and Ryan have ever gotten of the supernatural Also, Shane may have accidentally reattached the dummy's head well enough to not pop off
I don't know if it's quite accurate to say the hand moved toward the flashlight each time. The little skeleton was definitely moving around, but it looked a bit random.
i kinda felt the dummy part creepy cause, agreed, shane mightve unconsciously reattached the dummy head, but he was so nonchalant and hasty about it that it would almost be near to impossible to attach it so well for ryan to actually pick up the whole while only holding onto its head AND move with it. 59:31

I mean, I enjoy them being jokey. The ghost part is fun, but seeing them interact is the best. It also feels more realistic to me personally, as someone who lives in a haunted house.
@@Lisa_Flowers First off thanks for the no swearing. Much appreciated, rare these days. My point is. The whole reason Ryan and Shane became famous and broke away from the rest, was because they had a great skeptic vs believer gimmick. For a ghost hunting show that was fresh and different from all the other Zak Bagans psychic and TH-cam runway screaming ghost videos. Shane and Ryan were able to make you feel like you were on the hunt with them by having this gimmick coupled with minimal crew/cameraman interaction They would hear or see something and get to see both sides of the human fight or flight response. Now they are both dancing in the hallways in front of a whole slew of cameras and crew, while hocking coors beer moments after a crazy encounter. Buzzfeed might have been jerks but they had better editors.
Yeah and she was like climbingbup to sit on the tv. Makes sense because she had dementia and those people do weird things because they go crazy. And she was very compliant to their requests which also makes sense because i can see someone with dementia acting like she did like obeying people. Love that the ghost, after being dead for so many years and being in a sort of limbo, and it finally has a chance to communicate in the living world, it decides to call Shane and Ryan nerds.
Shane’s recurring bit starting with “…I know I like to joke…” gets funnier and funnier every time it’s used because of how increasingly incredulous Ryan becomes as a result of hearing it
56:35 "We got some orbs going on over here, a lot of orb activity. You'd think it's just dust but those are people who died." "If you try hard enough, you can catch 'em, absorb their power, that's what I like to do." This statement reminded me that Shane's an actual demon.
Shane counting all the dead flies while Ryan says “I know, that’s great buddy, but don’t you think we should go?” in that voice is giving sober friend taking care of drunk best friend acting like a baby and it’s so precious to me
the scream, the nun talking about possessing mark, the whole rose situation, THE DUMMY’S HEAD BEING REATTACHED!!! everything about this episode is insane 😭
Some tips: Shane and Ryan both should install a camera at the back of their heads when they go into the haunted building alone. Ghosts usually like standing behind you.
Shane: tells a wheelchaired ghost to *walk* towards a window. Brings beer to an old lady ghost. Says to a child, "wanna play fucking ball Timmy!" He's clearly quite gifted at inclusion.

I would love for Shane and Ryan both to put on a heart rate meter during their solo investigations. Want to know if Shane feels even a lil bit of fear.
I feel like there's lots of reasons for a person's heart rate to spike though besides fear. What if he's just horny? You really wanna put him on blast like that?
For the Debrief, nuns usually take a name when they become sisters. So Sister Joanna could have been her monastical name, but Tina could have been her legal name
@@katy693 I think it’s to symbolize their devotion, that they’re taking on a new name for their new life devoted to Christ. Also, many traditions around becoming a nun are similar to getting married (wearing a wedding dress and getting a ring, some have receptions, etc), so like a bride usually takes the name of her husband, nuns will choose/have a name chosen for them.
Whoa, didn't know that! I tried finding any records on who lived there and there was nothing. Not even a staff registry or death records. Nothing on the nuns besides photos that list the people in them as unidentified. Some of these are even in private collections. One of the tour guides named Valoree Gregory claimed to have been born there, and she says others like her are still alive and wish to see the building restored because of their connections to it all. It seems to have a cleaner history than Waverly's. Tours are what help fund restoration efforts. No evidence of anything dark concerning murders or demonic worship seems to have been caught.
And then they were like “… I think the nun has a crush on you omg” and it’s a literal nun, that’s so funny. But my asexual ass was like “the nun is probably sticking her had through his shoulder and being like ‘woah that’s sick’”.

It's staged (things like the door slamming or the reflection in the window), or do you think it's just extremely convenient he gathered more "evidence" in one single investigation than Shane and Ryan did in 8 entire seasons. Possibly even more important though, he disrespects the deceased and disrespects the history of these places when he steals items like a pool ball, then he has the nerve to use those items in his videos for more monetary gains & personal profit. Even Shane, a huge skeptic, is far more respectful of the locations & doesn't steal or break stuff.

Possibly the scariest but also funniest ghost files episode so far. The dummy’s head being attached when Ryan came back is crazy and I say this as a shaniac
There's 2 coils that come out of the torso that are supposed to keep the head attached. When Shane put it back, the hole was on one and when Ryan pulled it up, it got caught on that coil.
I'm a Shaneiac too but the only unexplainable thing was the recorded scream. The only thing I can think of sounding like that is a goat or an owl, but I doubt either would be in there.
Shaniac here too! This episode has probably the most compelling evidence they've caught, with actually comprehensive ghost conversations and the lady dancing while turning the light off and on lol. I don't think the dummy is super solid evidence since there's a hook for the head that it easily could've latched onto. But the scream is kinda weird too, probably just Shane's scream sounding strange through all the halls but still. Creepy af.
Bro honestly the part with Rose the nurse and the flashlight is some of the most compelling evidence I've ever seen. We’ve got to do better than drugging & warehousing people. ….& tbh, it delighted me that Rose was dancing- like maybe she’s free to be a party girl & knows fun in the house (Ryan & Shane).

So true. on unsolved the first time at sallie house nothing really happened besides flash lights turning on n off.

That’s interesting
Is there a certain reason for it? Or is it just because?
@@katy693 I think it’s to symbolize their devotion, that they’re taking on a new name for their new life devoted to Christ. Also, many traditions around becoming a nun are similar to getting married (wearing a wedding dress and getting a ring, some have receptions, etc), so like a bride usually takes the name of her husband, nuns will choose/have a name chosen for them.
also if it wasnt her name then its possible that tina was an actual patient whose last name was nguyen rather than win
Whoa, didn't know that! I tried finding any records on who lived there and there was nothing. Not even a staff registry or death records.
