if hes saying hes stopped events happening its more likely hes suffering from paranoid schizophrenia or some related paranoid disorder. sometimes when people who are already struggling feel inadequate they make up delusions about themselves to feel better. sometimes the delusions can be incredibly insane. sometimes they believe them fully. sometimes its just like day dreaming and then they snap out of it, its a sad thing. i have known a few people with this problem and have experienced it on a minor scale myself. (making up what i have done in my day in conversation to make my day seem interesting when i was depressed.) hope dude gets help. i also think the uncertainty of life and cloudiness in the world contributes to it. many dont realise that none of us have it figured out yet. when people are sick these delusions help them feel like they know the truth in a way, its a sense of security as false as it is.
oof what a bummer... but important to consider and be aware of, I actually really appreciate you explaining this. never would've occurred to me otherwise. it is really sad, honestly i think probably more people experience this than most of us realize. seriously, i love that you commented this and how much empathy you're able to express and explain kindly ❤ and, i hope you're doing ok too 🌻

That is actually an issue he addressed that wasn't mentioned in the video. When his temporal displacement device started up, it'd take a gravitational reading of it's currently location in space time. The device could not move while displacing time. It would do an additional gravitational reading at it's destination to make sure it was safe to arrive. To prevent popping up in the void of space or in a wall
@@AxionProxyah yes, this solves it 😂
@ he even had that idea concocted up for his story ? FairPlay to him.
That's the most infographic, silly and exciting presentation of John Titor's story.
John Titor... Apple Tater.... It's coming full circle...
This randomly dropping makes me miss the series already. Time to rewatch
The bit at 29:55 was actually so good, especially Shane disappearing
Shane's "I don't know what that means but it sounds important" 🤣
i love the polaroid of max on theory two just chilling there
This makes me so happy!! I remember reading about John Titor as a teenager like 10 years ago, and when Mystery Files started I was really hoping they would cover this story!
The irony of Shane asking Ryan if he thinks something is a bit farfetched lol!
Tinfoil hat theory: John Titor was actually The Professor. He time travelled to the past to stop a certain genie from starting WW3.
Bro people have been trolling like this on the internet for years, I used to do similar shit when I was in middle and high school just for a laugh 😭 This was totally just a guy and maybe one of his buddies fucking with everybody.
Totally. Although, to me, the sort of things the guy said sounded like a grumpy Boomer who was like, "I know what'll convince these kids today to stop being idiots and ruining everything. I'll pretend to be a time traveler on the internet and tell them that people in the future think they're sheeple!"
I'm guessing given this person's supposed age, he's either:
A) an internet troll
B) Schizophrenic (as he's around the age it can develop)
C) a writer/internet troll who's fleshing out the more complex details on time travel and world building.
Or
D) A compulsive liar with a narcissistic need for attention
@@amandasnider2644it was me
If John accomplished anything, he accomplished being the most interesting Time Traveler story.
I have been waiting so impatiently for this series to release a new episode and I am so happy you are back!
Same.
he described time travel very close to how it represented in doctor who 😂
THIS GUY terrorized me as a kid omg i can’t believe you made a video about it 😭😭😭 my older cousin would show me youtube videos of paranormal events and he was always in them
these boys have been dropping my fav content on my birthday for 3 years now... please don't ever stop it's the only thing keeping me going😭🤚
I will just say that the whole John Titor mystery is the entire concept of the Game / Anime / Manga named Steins;Gate which is the best anime of all times and best visual novel of all times. Just suggest everyone if you have a chance watch the anime and play the game!
Between 6minutes and 44 seconds into this video I was scrolling through other content to add to the que in TH-cam. The whole time with the wake commentary and bad jokes they manage to disinterest me about the time travel story, and I paused and wrote this post and now exiting the video.
LIFE IS STRANGE and MYSTERY FILES crossover???? Was NOT expecting that omg y'all should play the original Life is Strange game, it's so good
AGREE
@@Infinash W pfp!! I love her ❤

"It's a Power That Should Not Be Welded By Man" 😂 I Concur
Glad to see you guys are still on youtube
Yeah, because they looked like idiots when they tried to charge everyone to watch their content.
they still upload all the time
@@flednanders4601 They didn't look like idiots. If anything it's the fans.
@@Braham_the_Terror how? They tried to get more money out of their fans by moving to their own pay to watch sight. You can still make money on TH-cam and even patreon for supporters that want to contribute more. I just think it was kind of a sleazy move.
Brings me back to the good old days; Unsolved Mysteries
MAX CAULFIELD IS BACK??!!!!
I’m suddenly very hyped for that new game, but I feel so bad for Max that stuff like this keeps happening around her 😭
It's the curse of being a millennial.
I played double exposure! love all the Life Is Strange games so much, the characters and stories. Love your work on this series Shane!!
this is literally just the plot of steins gate lmao
That's because steins gate based it's story off of John titor.
finally someone mentions steins gate
This was basically just a breakdown of the plot of Steins;Gate, love it bois!
Not Santa's village being the last theme park standing.
I feel like Time Travelers would have more important things to do than spend their time online on a blog & spill "secrets" about the future to random strangers.
Love all of the knick-nacks in the Mystery Files set sm🙌
15:17 damn, even in the future nepotism is still ruling the world 😂
So excited that Mystery files is back!
🤣 Y'all Are Funny AF 💯 "If You See Me, Flag Me Down" 😂
Just gotta say, you guys were 100% lied to with the haunted hill house. There's footage of other investigations in the building and they heard the exact same noises in the same rooms. Like, even the whistle had the exact same inflection on it. You could also hear the exact same growl and it was totally electronic sounding. You guys paid at least $500 to get lied to
I wonder if there’s already a thousand comments on the actual video saying the same thing already?
I thought this would happen one day
@@Pendergasted then they should acknowledge it.
Haha, they paid to get a video so that they can get views.
The moment I started watching that one, I couldn't help but think a lot of it was staged, I just watched the boys video on it and there was banging on a door that had to have been rigged up.
No fucking way the guy supposedly jumped from 2036, I once had a missed call on my phone and it said that it was from March 2036. TIME TRAVEL IS REAL?? (I probably just have a virus on my phone or something lol, still funny tho)
I literally just did a paper on this!!! This is literally my favorite internet history fact and it being a part of my favorite anime Steins:Gate cemented it for me.
Steins;Gate mentioned!!!!! :)!
if hes saying hes stopped events happening its more likely hes suffering from paranoid schizophrenia or some related paranoid disorder. sometimes when people who are already struggling feel inadequate they make up delusions about themselves to feel better. sometimes the delusions can be incredibly insane. sometimes they believe them fully. sometimes its just like day dreaming and then they snap out of it, its a sad thing. i have known a few people with this problem and have experienced it on a minor scale myself. (making up what i have done in my day in conversation to make my day seem interesting when i was depressed.) hope dude gets help. i also think the uncertainty of life and cloudiness in the world contributes to it. many dont realise that none of us have it figured out yet. when people are sick these delusions help them feel like they know the truth in a way, its a sense of security as false as it is.
oof what a bummer... but important to consider and be aware of, I actually really appreciate you explaining this. never would've occurred to me otherwise. it is really sad, honestly i think probably more people experience this than most of us realize. seriously, i love that you commented this and how much empathy you're able to express and explain kindly ❤
and, i hope you're doing ok too 🌻
1:15 solved, not a time traveler, I win
Life is boring as a shaniac
You win one of those comically large checks
Have y’all thought about diving into the Willamette Valley Dream Survey? It’s like your guy’s mystery sweet spot
FINALLY. WE NEED MORE PUPPET HISTORY!🎉🎉🎉
Love the show.
Glad there is a new episode.
15:50 BUILT LIKE A WATER WEENIE😭😭
In 12 years, there's going to be a bunch of comments on this video stating they called up General Electric's customer service angry they hadn't invented the time machine yet 😂
I'm the TT man. You got me.
Seriously, this research is 'no joke' =))) Science is truly amazing; things that seemed like sci-fi are now becoming reality
yes, i was there. i am the time machine.
I feel like someone wrote a Fallout fanfiction and wanted to share it with the masses but it somehow turned into this mess lol
GOD i love this series
John left in March 2001 and left us to deal with 9/11 alone. How dare you, John.
The boys are back in town baby
In early 2000s, I can admit to faking conversations between several different characters.
This probably isn't real, but I do believe time travel exists.
