2021 Honda gold wing helmet lock demonstration.

I very clearly need to learn how to use my camera! I accidentally shut off recording mid sentence. The only thing you missed was how to use the center stand. Traxxion suspension guy does a fantastic center stand video if you want to see that.

I have a pristine, and I mean mint (one small scratch on the foe tank) 85 Aspencade and I actually just looked at this/Your bike, same color etc at Honda buying a new helmet yesterday. It took Me about 15 minutes alone to figure out all the hatches/latches and nav/control center and it it felt pretty intuitive with the exception of getting the doors to latch.

Thanks .. perfect demonstration.. my helmet doesn’t reach the seat but locking it this way will still be way better than carrying it around (mine is a base w/no trunk)

I have the same 2021 black tour DCT, love it. Yup, I close all the top box and saddlebags slowly, no issues.

Just a note. Some newer higher end helmets, like the Shoei Neotech II, do not have D rings, which renders this helmet lock useless. But in all fairness, mostly all the other model bike helmet locks also become useless with these slide-latch helmets.

also had a sport tourer before but mine was a Honda ST1300 .. helmet fit in the side bag on that like it probably also did on your FJR

I definitely got it with the 21 tour but it was my impression any model came with this.

Why leave the helmet on the seat when locked if it can fit in the trunk

Because like me most people have other stuff in the trunk! I always leave my helmet locked on the seat.

Problem is most sport helmets do not have rings. So this helmet lock is useless. Love the bike though.
