Nice war machine you've built :) Proud Canadian :)
I did talk about some maintenance items, like tires, brakes transmission etc.
Let me know if there is anything else people would like to hear about. I’ll see if I can answer any questions for y’all.
For those that dont know what the milage is, 100,000 kilometers equates to 2,765 miles
Funny. Actually for those wondering its around 64,000 miles. 😂
😂😂😂😂
Gthooh….😂
Gotta reboot those computers
Nice review! You have about twice as many miles (km) as I do on my 2018 DCT. I've had no issues with mine either, it's just an outstanding motorcycle. 😎
Thanks for sharing!
I enjoyed your video, good work! Me, I am not a fan of speakers; on most of my bikes I have used a headset/bluetooth unit working through the Goldwing electronics/navigation. I enjoy premium sound with no competition from external inputs or noise. Also, all of the CarPlay and added apps operate as intended. Good Rides
Postscript: My first GW was a 1975 model that I purchased about 1978 (I was about 30 y.o.), then for a short time a GW 1200, next was my (totaled) 2021 GW DCT tour, then my now GW 2023 GW DCT tour.
The 2021 wrecked GW was me being dehydrated and going unconscious while riding. I survived with minor damage to my body and forthwith purchased a new GW 2023 DCT tour!
Again, Good Rides
Glad you enjoyed the video and that everything worked out with your accident. That dehydration comes on quick. Ride safe and enjoy the new bike.
My friend has 150,000 miles on his GW, and reports it still runs like a Rolex. His last road trip was 15,000 miles and without any problem at all.
Bet he has some fun strapping the bike to his wrist 😂
Great to know you have no issue with this great machine. I just bought an extended coverage, just incase. Safe ride!
I bought the extended warranty just in case as well. Good to have the insurance if a problem should show up on a newly designed vehicle.
Specifically, the Electronics and the DCT
@@TwistySeeker 100% correct. The DCT model has a very expensive transmission and computer. Overall, this bike is pretty involved. Safe ride !!!
You also
I did talk about some maintenance items, but what exactly were you wondering about and I’ll see if I can answer the question for you
Awesome video I have 22000 on mine right now and about to take it for the valve adjustment hopefully I can say the same things about my Goldwing at 100000 miles…
I am in Canada and my bike is in kilometers. I agree with you. Hope it works out.
Thanks
Appreciate this vid and glad I ran across it.
So tired of the constantly pushed commercialized content.
Now, the important question! Where did u get that Twisty Seeker decal? The google machine can’t find it!
I designed it with a graphic artist myself, and then he printed it. I stuck it on the trunk.
This is farkle island! Great vid. As i ponder on getting one of these fine machines, itd great to see a veteran owner show off some upgrades anyone can consider as a pissibility down the road. Thanks a lot.
Thank you very much. I appreciate the comment. As some know this has been a great bike with very little extra maintenance or issues. Enjoy your ride whatever it may be.
@TwistySeeker Just a comment but I'm looking at a 2018 Goldwing dct in Ft Worth this very weekend and it has 8100 miles on it and is Half the process of new. Is this as much of a no brainer as it gets? I understand checking engine oil and accessories and every button function etc., but any other details I may wanna consider asking to ensure I'm not skipping something Fatal and critical? Thx. Love the overgrips idea as well as the cameras. I would've done 2 goprops but the memory aspect would be a challenge lol.
@@woodypaq I would pay a dealer to inspect it, and make sure of what you’re getting. Good luck.
@@TwistySeeker Thinking that is the best way to go. Thx.
Cool bike setup. Thanks for your review and walk-around.
No problem 👍
Take care
GWM! Hope you are doing great. I see you’ve already viewed and commented. I sent you this video mistakenly. Please disregard. I like his use of a cabinet door bumper on the horn button. I have practiced the reach with my thumb, but the added tactile feel might also be aid benefit. Bumpers come in clear and dark color. Best to you my friend.
With the clear ones, you can still see the horn button symbol through the bumper.
Just love it! Great video Dan. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The helmet info just gained you a new subscriber 👍
I cant find the link to your amp install

@@TwistySeeker perfect you gave me the ideas i needed
By the title, I thought this was a review of the bike. But all I see is mostly about your accessories.
How is the bike running? Maintenance? Etc.
It's a Honda.
With all the money those Gold Wings cost and you still have to spend more money to get the bike you want... Even the guy from Sherbrooke would get THAT Joke...😁 Good stuff, thanks for posting...
Thank You. Ride safe
@@TwistySeeker Thank you for taking the time to respond... Here's hoping you get another 100,000 km.👍👍👍
How are you getting 20k km out of a rear Bridgestone? I had to change my rear on my 23 DCT tour at 13000km. Probably could have stretched it to 14k.
I run 43 pounds pressure in the rear and 41 in the front. Checked when cold. I usually don’t ride 2 up. I don’t pull a trailer. I do have full saddlebags, including a few tools. I ride fairly aggressively. That’s all I know.
Do you change the air filter yourself or have the Dealer do it?
Everything is on TH-cam. Don't pay dealer
I haven't seen a video on the air bag model.@@wileecoyote5749
I did it myself. If you disconnect the battery, the airbag is not a problem. The airbag is sitting in a mounting cradle, which I believe is four bolts. There is a video getting under the bag. It might be Fred Harmon. I don’t remember.
I have a question with the centramatics do u still use whee weights?
No extra weights
What’s a kilometer?
One mile = 1.6 kilometers.
You need to talk about miles
The title of the video should be "Me and my accessories on my Goldwing DCT", as the long term review is only marginally.
Sorry to say, but it was a waste of time for me.
He said to ask a question.
