    Thanks SO much for this tutorial. I got a rental today and the manual for the Niro is 3 inches thick. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

    I stumbled upon your video, learning as much as I can about all things Niro EV. I just purchased one this Sunday, after renting one last year for a family reunion in Texas. That ordeal was a veritable
    nightmare, (no place to charge it locally, ran out of power and had to be towed), but I LOVED the car. Also, this video was done on my birthday so...Kismet!!! Anyhoo, thanks for all the information.

    Thanks for the video. I just picked up my new Niro EV this week, and this was far more informative than trying to read the manual! It is poorly laid out and only tells you what something is and how to activate it while being short on explaining when and why you may or may not want to choose certain settings.

    The controls to move your car on the key fob are not on the Wind Trim, only on the Wave (and maybe an additional option). Ventilated seats are also only on Wave, and unfortunately you have to get a sunroof and updated sound package (subwoofer takes up a lot of room in the spare tire area) in order to get ventilated seats. Heated seats are an option on either trim.
    No charging cables came with the car, at least not from the dealer I checked out.
    For the climate / radio controls, I recommend holding down the area between the toggle and selecting to keep it on climate by default, since the radio controls are on the steering wheel.

      My car also did not have a charging cable at time of purchase. I told sales manager the car was basically a boat anchor once I got would get it home since I had no way of charging it. They eventually decided to pay half for a home charge station which I quickly ordered from Amazon.

    Max great video as usual. I'm a Niro EV owner and was slightly disappointed you didnt show 1 of its best features the V2L function, aside from that i think you covered everything

    New Niro EV owner here. Our previous car was an '09 ICE car, so it has virtually no tech, so it's a bit of a learning curve. We did get "trained" quickly that taking your foot off the accelerator pedal means the car slows dramatically. Therefore it was counterintuitive to us to have to take your foot off the pedal for cruise control to engage. This led to some frustration and confusion between cruise control and speed limit control, which are on the same steering wheel button..
    I prefer the dynamic dash, apparently only available in settings. I've yet to see a video that touches on that.
    Left paddle is up, right paddle is down - also counterintuitive for us in North America.

    Nice video. Would love to see your driving impressions on this car, which I think is attractive but unfortunately about 10K overpriced compared to its E-GMP siblings. By the way, if you long press on the Climate/Media toggle button, it will allow you to select the system it defaults back to after a few seconds. It works this way in my EV6.

    I am a new Niro EV owner. I'd like to know more about charging at home. The manual of my Bokman charger says there is an option for Yes grounding or No grounding. Which should be used?

    • @davidmenasco5743
      @davidmenasco5743 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A good source for information on home chargers is the State of Charge channel on TH-cam.
      But for operation details, you definitely want to consult with the manufacturer.

      You mean the blades? It's optional on the 2024. I was just looking at a PHEV the other day at a dealership and the EV was parked next to it. The PHEV has black blades, also optional.

    I Test it for a week, I got electric car anxiety! 250 miles range, driving like a granny, keeping 50 miles back up, so 200 miles range. Not good. 5 hours re-charge and around $25 is the same I do on my kia soul 2.0. 😢

    • @baacanmex
      @baacanmex หลายเดือนก่อน

      Update says 250 miles range but in highway on control cruise does 200 miles, in a 12kw charger is one hour charge for every hour drive.
      Conclusion, I will stick to Gas.
