First time watching your videos, excellent tips man! Love the tool brand satire, glad to see a fellow mechanic that isn’t a tool snob. I have all brands and sometimes it just doesn’t make sense to spend too much money on something you don’t use all the time.
No but it is easy to obtain Call BMW with the last seven characters of your VIN or go on the real OEM website with it, trust that it is incredibly easy to find those part numbers, but why is it that you have an interest in the bearing?
@jdmtechllc6589 The oil seal is what I've tried to find but I thought you mentioned inspecting the bearing so I thought it may be something that needs replacing at some point. Was going to log the PN.
I cannot give you a definitive answer on that to be honest with you, however, I know the way these sensors work and it will not work without some sort of pulse, so my theory is that there are permanent magnets built into the hub of the CV axle, what do you think?
Found this online: Some active ABS sensors use a multipole ring instead of a tone ring. The multipole ring is integrated into the wheel bearing sealing ring and acts as an impulse ring.
Good to see you buddy I am having hard time sourcing a water pump for my 09 BMW x5 30i non turbo and non diesel it calls for adaptive climate control I see a Dorman water everyone says don’t do it?
Should be able to get what you need from fcpeuro. If it’s the electric water pump then it’s peirburg that makes the original pump for bmw. Anything else won’t last. Make sure you are talking about the water pump for the engine, I believe there is also a pump for the heater, so it’s possible you could be finding results for that pump as well.
great video ! just helped one of our customers!

Great tips , very professional cheers sir
So nice of you, thank you for watching.
Do you have a part number for the oil seal at the insertion point? And the pn for the bearing at that oil seal? Thank you.

@@MauriceSamra-uc6fj Good idea, but I only mentioned inspection because you are right there, not really because I noticed any failure trends.
@@MechaniclifeJDM Got it! 👍
New Sub, thanks
Welcome!
I’ve noticed on the x5 e70, none of the left front cv axles have a honing ring, yet there is a abs sensor! How does it work with no honing ring?

Factory only my friend,
It’s made by a company called pierburg I believe.
@@MechaniclifeJDM it’s hard to find the 4 zone climate control
@@ThePlayerlane call bmw parts, provide the last 7 of the vin, obtain the actual part # and reply here with it, I will help you find it.
@@MechaniclifeJDM sounds like a plan
