    Since I received my (almost) new DJI FPV drone yesterday, I've been going through all your videos on this drone. One perspective I get from you and not too many other "influencers" is the fact
    that you are mostly a GPS drone flyer. As I am. I have a good bit of time flying the Tinyhawk 2, but mostly for fun. I bought the DJI FPV drone with specific areas/footage scenes in mind I would
    like to shoot. So hearing it come from you puts me a bit at ease. I just need to take it slow at first and work my way up. Although, I just cannot foresee the need for me to ever put it in "Manual" or acro mode.
    Thanks, Aldryn!

    Excellent introduction to a ground breaking (hopefully not literally!) new product from DJI. I used to fly FPV but it was not an easy process to get up and running and in the end I couldn't spare the time needed to keep on top of all the different elements. Battery life was also measly 6 minutes and image quality was poor on the Fat Shark goggle set-up. So this truly opens up this area of drone flying up to non-hobbyists. Exciting stuff! Thanks for a great video.

      It's an FPV focused drone, seeing the props in your video feed is sometimes incredibly helpful in gauging the distance between your drone and an obstacle. Plus, you're only seeing it because of the incredibly high FOV. You can simply crop them out in the settings or in post.

    • @CampusMania
      @CampusMania 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@StadiaTime I don't agree with that. It's still a drone that you can use to record videos. You shouldn't be seeing the propellers at all at anytime!

    If you really want to transition to FPV, buy a 3" race quad and teach yourself to fly in an open grassy field.
    You'll crash a hundred times, and have a ton of fun doing it.
    Your drone will survive 95% of your crashes without damage, and if you do break it you can get parts and repair it yourself.
    Crashing is a big part of learning to fly FPV. The DJI FPV drone is not built to survive crashes, and you can't fix it yourself.

    I watched a few reviews today. Don't feel to bad. Your not the only one who cracked (or broke) their FPV prop arms. From what I'm seeing that's probably the #1 point of weakness during a crash. It's def. a weak point. Thanks for the review....

    As an owner of the original DJI goggles, I like many eyeglasses wearers ran into the issue of focal length adjustment, or that is to say - NO - FL adjustment on those goggles. We had to purchase after market lenses to aid us when we discovered that our street glasses were no good at allowing us to focus on the screen while wearing them. So , the inevitable question, are these goggles equipped with FL adjustment built in or would we have to hope that the after market helps us out again? I went the AM route and after $40 and a mistake in choosing the right diopter number , I finally settled on a pair of drug store reading glasses that sufficed . It would be nice if DJI would include this feature that is found on almost all cheapie VR goggles sold on Amazon into this product.

    I fly FPV and have been waiting for this one.
    Recently purchased a Mini 2 as my first DJI product and I'm enjoying the quality DJI brings to the table.
    Most of my other drones are knock offs or personal builds and don't have the same rock solid capabilities as my DJI Mini 2.

    I wouldnt suggest an expensive drone that breaks easily to learn fpv on.. practice on a sim.. just a cheap fpv drone to practice with that wont break.. and if it does its only $5 for an arm. And you can get DJI video system on a regular drone with air unit or vista. Can also get return to home with drone that have gps like explorer, Hexplorer, chimera . (doesnt work the best though)

    So, what license will this require to fly? How is the video quality compared to magic products? Great vlog. Thx

    If you wanted to use your smartphone instead of the headset, are you able to view the camera footage with your camera instead of the headset? Thank you!

    how does this sit with FAA regulations for drone flight?

    • @Spacedog_42
      @Spacedog_42 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      DJI wouldn’t be able to sell the drone if it didn’t meet regulations.
      It should be fine as long and you read and follow the rules.
      You do need to register the drone under the FAA because this is over 250g.

    Aldryn can you pair the original DJI goggles or a cell phone with this new fpv drone so that others can get the same fpv experience? Thanks!

    Here I am again Aldryn. Watching one of your drone videos even if I don't plan on buying one soon. Haha. Keep up the good work. Mabuhay!

    So is this for a price any better than regular carbon fibe based fpv drone at same price range?? Someone who do freestyle or racing, what is your pick?
