Last season was the first time I'd planted Mountain Man and was so impressed it's the only variety I'm planting this year. Over the past 40 years I've planted most of the old standbys, but every since the Mountain varieties hit the market several years ago it's the only variety I plant. I've planted them all and was well satisfied with each variety, but Mountain Man is my favorite hands down. They're awesome for salads, slicing, canning and cooking.

Are you growing these varieties from seed.Have never seen any of these varieties in the Midwest where I live.
If I haven't grown them from seed, I have gotten them from my local greenhouse.
